  • Serves Washington, DC

Our talented designers are dedicated to elevating celebratory experiences with exquisitely chic floral designs for our clients. Using premium-quality florals, our designers ensure that every creation elegantly balances colors and style for a unique, eye-catching work of art!

I highly recommend this vendor (The Blooming Twig) for all decorating needs. For my wedding, Trysh made multiple visits to the venue to measure and ensure proper placements of all decor. She listened and did not recoil or back down when I made some challenging requests. On the day of the wedding we had to pivot and change the ceremony from outside to inside, due to weather. The venue did not allow her the time needed to get everything done, but she got it done in spite of. She brought all of my ideas and pictured examples to fruition, creating an absolutely beautiful look.

We ordered twice from Poppy for our wedding. As anxious people we wanted to do a test round and thank goodness we did. The flowers come in a huge box but look pretty sad. After trimming them and getting in water they transformed into beautiful blooms. For the day of we supplemented with Trader Joe’s flowers. We ended up with enough for a bridal and 4 bridesmaids bouquets.

Lisa Lee Florals
Rating: 5.0 (19 reviews)
Washington, DC
  • Starts at $5,000

Founded by Lisa Lee after leaving a decade-long career in digital marketing to pursue her dream in floral design, she hopes to inspire others with the same love she has for florals. You can expect to find dreamy, nature-inspired designs.

Awarded Best of Zola
TL;DR - Lisa and her team did a fabulous job with our wedding florals, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was responsive, proactive in planning, and offers stunning design for very fair price points. We and our guests loved what she created. I highly recommend her! We were introduced to Lisa through our planner. The first call helped us understand how she works, what’s typical for wedding floral vendors, and what kinds of packages she offers. Lisa’s warm, a good listener, and even in the first call exudes expertise and style. Immediately confident she could do the job well. I love how she structured her proposals—she gave us an easy slide deck with colors, sample florals and greenery, vessel options, altar shapes, and other design details. It’s informative without being overwhelming, and helped us make decisions we loved. As an LGBTQ couple, it was also lovely to work with a vendor who understood how some details may be different & help us with ideas for what was unfamiliar to us. Lastly, on wedding day, Lisa and her team move quickly and almost invisibly. The space was transformed, the vision came to life perfectly, and she checked in with us and planner all throughout to make sure we were feeling good. Thanks, Lisa!

ROSIE Floral
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Washington, DC
  • Starts at $1,500

I’m Rachel, the founder of ROSIE. I was born on the Big Island of Hawai‘i and raised between the volcanic Pacific, the desert landscapes of Albuquerque, and the energy of Los Angeles — influences that continue to shape my approach to floral design. I come from a fine arts background, and that training allows me to create floral designs that feel both visually compelling and deeply intentional. The name ROSIE is deeply personal to me — a tribute to childhood imagination, sentimentality, and the orange cat who stayed by my side for 18 years. That sense of nostalgia and emotional connection is at the heart of everything I create.

I cannot recommend Rosie Rosie Florals enough! Rachel did an absolutely incredible job bringing my vision to life. From the very beginning, she was so kind, responsive, and easy to work with. She really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and somehow made it even more beautiful than I imagined. Rachel has such a creative eye and an amazing talent for designing floral arrangements. She perfectly replicated my inspiration while adding her own artistic touch to make everything feel unique and elegant. What I appreciated most was that she truly listened to my vision while also being mindful of my budget. She found ways to create a gorgeous, high-end look without making me feel pressured to overspend. I would recommend Rachel to anyone and can’t wait to work with her again!

Concrete Rose Floral was established by myself, Travis Gabriel, Owner and Creative Manager. I am a well rounded industry professional with 15 years of experience in the floral industry. I have refined my craft working with many of the top designers in the area. We loved working with Savannah and Mountain Mama Florals for our wedding! At the beginning of wedding planning, we felt a little directionless and undecided about our decor. When we consulted with Savannah, though, the vision became so clear and so authentic to us. She asked great questions to help us understand what we wanted, and then she created the most gorgeous arrangements imaginable that brought our vision to life. She also works with a nonprofit that repurpose any arrangements you don't keep; that meant our wedding flowers were donated to a local hospital the day after our wedding, and brought joy to others who needed some joy. We can only sing Savannah's praises, and highly recommend working with her! Photo credit to Amy Chmara of Paperbird Photography (@amypaperbird)

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Washington, DC

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Flower Moxie completely exceeded my expectations in every way! I ordered their pastels package for my wedding and was blown away by how stunning the flowers were. The blooms were fresh, vibrant, and even more beautiful than I imagined—truly some of the healthiest flowers I’ve ever seen. I was initially curious (and a little nervous) about how the process would work, since I’d never used a service like this before. But from the very beginning, Maria and the Flower Moxie team were incredibly kind, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond. Maria walked me through every step with warmth and thoughtfulness, and made everything feel so easy and stress-free. They really knocked it out of the park. The flowers added so much magic to our day. I used them for our welcome sign, cake, bud vases, and to transform a faux white-and-green arch and floral meadow by adding real, colorful blooms—and the final result was breathtaking. So many guests complimented how beautiful everything looked. I cannot recommend Flower Moxie enough. They’re not just a flower company—they’re a dream team that helps make your vision come to life!

The Faux Bouquets

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had the most incredible experience with the Faux Bouquets! From start to finish, Brittany was responsive, caring and efficient! We rented the ‘Moody Romance’ suite and I purchased an add on of a custom bridal bouquet and boutonnière! I had done thorough research on purchasing real flowers and while price was our driving factor, I loved the element of saving on waste with renting and the option to purchase a keepsake! Brittany spent time talking to me so many times about questions I had and was incredibly patient! With the custom bouquet, I was able to upload inspiration photos and she NAILED it! The shipping process was so seamless as well. Brittany provided the tracking numbers and thorough instructions on receiving and then returning the flowers. I pride myself on getting ALL the flowers returned in record time (Brittany said) ;) All of our guests couldn’t believe the flowers were fake and everyone was raving about them! Do yourself a favor and go with The Fuax Bouquets!

Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!
