“We hired DJ El Sid for our August 9th, 2025 wedding, and our reception was an absolute banger. Sid is super talented and is great at reading the crowd likely because he still actively DJs at clubs which is exactly what we were looking for. He had everyone on their feet dancing from our younger crowd of friends and cousins to our older family and friends. You know it’s a good party when you have a dachshund do the limbo and the men’s ties transfer to their head haha. We got SO many compliments on the DJ from our guests! “Wow, wow, wow. The 1999 was recommended to us by our friends who saw them at a bar in Newport, RI. When we contacted them, they set up a private and intimate showcase where we got to sit down with the whole band and their DJ and ask a million questions. They also played a mini set and took our requests LIVE on the spot -- that blew us away. When it came time to our actual wedding, they were so polished, warm, friendly but most importantly energetic and fun. We had a wide range of ages at our wedding from kids under 12 to our great grandparents over 90 -- and all of them raved about how great they were. They were able to play our first dance live which made for a really special moment for my wife and me. Couldn't recommend them enough to the next couple. They are an absolute blast!”
