With extensive experience, including six years apprenticeship under notable coordinators, coordinating concerts for emerging talent for a Miami Beach record label. Yanicke brings expertise and passion to her work. She earned a Fashion Design degree from Miami Art University and devoted early years to the Fashion Industry before focusing on event coordination.

“I don't know where to start. My wedding which started out as a disaster became the best day of my life thanks to Yanicke from Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii. I hired a popular and reputable wedding coordinator on island of Oahu before we found Yanicke. We started planning a year ago with a specific coordinator that I will not name. She was not the best communicator and her response time was awful. Two weeks before my wedding we could not get in touch with this coordinator and we arrived to the island from CANADA with my family. Our coordinator was a no show at the rehearsal. I was so traumatised. We booked a lovely estate on the west side of the island. The owner of the estate felt so bad for us, that he provided us a recommendation of his favourite coordinator and said she might be available for last minute clients. He provided us Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii contact information. I contacted Yanicke FROM ZENJU WEDDINGS and cried to her and explained our situation. I asked her if she was available in two days. She gladly accepted. Ofcourse we offered to pay her more for taking our wedding last minute. I called other companies and no one would take us on. When I provided her all of our information, she was shocked that our planning looked like a rush job and nothing was completed. I hired her for Day of Coordination, but she had to clean up a complete butcher job from the previous coordinator, that she did way more than the Day of Coordination. She provided a functional lay out, an efficient time line, ordered rentals that was needed for the caterers which we did not have, re-did our entire design. It was not functional at all. Yanicke was in shock with the awful job the previous coordinator did. Yanicke was a god sent. There are still good people in this world. She even showed up at my hotel room in the morning to make sure all the vendors arrived on time, coordinated our first look, and picked up all of the favours from the hotel. Her coordination was the best! She thought of things we did not know, since I am the first one to get married in my family. Her coordination started from the moment we woke up. Her team of helpers were so kind and dressed so professional. They helped us and our guests with everything we needed. Yanicke made our 20,000 wedding look like a 50,000 wedding. She responded to all our emails immediately and kept me sane. My mother cried with joy and so happy we found her! I highly recommend Zenju Weddings!!! They really know what they are doing and you can tell they have been doing this for a long time. Yanicke is not only the co-founder and owner but she felt like my best friend. She is not the coordinator that will tell you what you want to hear with all the corporate BS. She is real and will be very blunt on what not to do and save your day! She is the person to trust with your wedding! Thank you so much to Yanicke and her team! Patrick and I are so grateful you saved our special day! You are a life saver!!!! We will be back to Oahu on our 1 year anniversary and maybe you can plan an anniversary party for is in a year. MAHALO!!!!”

“Seriously, you need Annie. I am such a type A person that I thought maybe I didn’t need a wedding planner, but from the first consultation with Annie we decided immediately we needed her. She added value from day one, and saved me from making a horrible venue mistake. She knows everyone, all the vendors, and who’s the best fit for you and your wedding vision. What she doesn’t know (which is rare) she figures out - for example, I had a request to have a magician, a friend cleanse the space with sage smudging, and a sound healer at our wedding, and she handled all my unique requests so well and was up for anything. She is very detail oriented and pays attention to everything- all our bills being correct, caught mistakes I made, and paid attention to all my strange requests. Most weddings are full of some strange interpersonal dynamic challenges, and Annie knew exactly how to navigate each one, paid special attention to the dynamic issues with my family and was fully ready and prepped to keep certain people happy and apart. She dealt with last minute changes seamlessly, including a no-show bridesmaid and last minute addition of a flower girl. There is no one I trusted more with my wedding (and at this point my life, I mean, can I keep her?!!) than Annie. On my wedding day and for months leading up to it I knew that whatever happened to go wrong, whatever last minute issues I would have, Annie would handle it and figure it out and I would barely know the difference. And that’s exactly how our day went. She is perfect and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Ps- mango season band was amazing too!!”

“Sugako was INCREDIBLE to work with. I was a destination bride and my entire wedding was traveling from the mainland. I booked the venue and all of the vendors sight unseen so there was a lot of anxiety going into how it would all pan out. When I arrived, oh my goodness. “We could not recommend Hawaiian Eye Weddings enough! Leah and her husband Mike are just two brilliant people and they made our wedding extra special! My husband is British and I am from Missouri, and Leah was able to not only organize our wedding, but guided us on where we needed to go to get our marriage certificate and all that we would need for me to immigrate to the UK. She walked us through in our initial meeting once we arrived in Hawaii, the marriage application, filled out for us and just really made us feel so at ease on what to expect on the day. She helped organize the loveliest lady to come to our hotel and do my hair and makeup on the wedding day, and even for flowers for my bouquet and my husband's lapel. She went and got them and delivered them. When you go with Hawaiian Eye, you are choosing someone who knows the island, who uses local islanders for vendors, and who really provides an all around service you would not find anywhere else! Mike did amazing with our photos and wedding video, they are STUNNING! These two people will forever have the warmest space in our hearts for making our special day that much more special! “I legitimately do not even know where to begin, other than HIRE TARA IMMEDIATELY! I am probably one of the most Type A people, you will ever meet. So relinquishing control day of was extremely hard for me. However, I knew that if I actually wanted to enjoy the day, unlike many of the weddings I have been in previously, I needed a day of coordinator. I interviewed several and Tara was the ONLY one that made me feel good. She was thorough, on top of things, and, quite frankly, equally as Type A. I can honestly say we were ALWAYS on the same page. I swear every email between us started with "I was just about to ask you...". I never would have been able to relax on my day, had it not been for Tara. She took my vision and brought it to life, despite the venue not being prepared, and giving some push back. She was able to pivot flawlessly whenever there was a hurdle, and she truly delivered the dreamiest wedding for us! Never once did stress get passed down to us as the Bride and Groom. She was reassuring, confident and helpful. Honestly, the day was better than I ever could have imagined, given some of the issues we had with the venue. She was a total and complete life saver, running between the two hotels my now Husband and I were at, when we forgot things. She even brought things to our hotel rooms for us, when we had forgotten them. I got home thinking I had lost my personalized hanger, and low and behold found it neatly packed away in one of my boxes, courtesy of Tara. She controlled all of the controllables and more, and I have not heard a single negative things about the day. In fact, I have had guests ask for her number, because she was so incredible and on top of everything. The best advice I can give to any couple in need of any wedding planning/coordination services is RUN DO NOT WALK TO ELARDO EVENTS. She is quite possibly, the best!”

“My wife and I worked with Finishing Touch for our wedding in March 2024. I can't say enough great things about the quality of work and expertise Sandra and her team had from start to finish. One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the impeccable organization and coordination. Every element of our wedding, from the food vendor to the floral arrangements, was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. During the wedding day I didn't even have to think, Sandra and her team had everything outlined and prepared. There was a moment where we sat down at our Sweetheart table to start the main reception and I had a thought, "I need to head to the bar to get myself and wife a drink." Right at the end of that thought I had one of her staff deliver us our plates of dinner along and asked what drinks we wanted. Within what felt like seconds our cocktails magically appeared. I know it's small but at that moment we felt pretty darn spoiled and taken care of. Because Sandra and her team were so attentive it really allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our Big Day. Also big shout out to Sandra for helping us resolve a small family situation. We had a service drop off our Chinese Grandma (94 years old) but they dropped her off like 45 mins early at the venue while we were taking pictures elsewhere. Grandma was with a family member who doesn't speak Cantonese so they were both confused on what to do and where to go. Sandra rushed over to them and spoke to Grandma in Cantonese and handled the situation. That's the level of care you'll get from Finishing Touch. McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. “TLDR: Zoey helped us plan and coordinate a destination wedding from San Diego to the Grand Canyon with a Flagstaff reception. With Zoey’s help we are probably one of the few couples in modern wedding history that can say our big day went off without a single problem. Meat and Potatoes: Venue- We had a 30 person AirBnB in Flagstaff which would serve as wedding party lodging for a weekend and the site of our reception. We rented a charter bus to drive the wedding party to South Rim of GC and back. Decor- We wanted the natural surroundings to take center stage and to not clutter the venue nor reception site with excessive setup or decor. Zoey helped maintain a classy and magical atmosphere without imposing on the natural surroundings. Our table layout was essentially a U and at each end of the U moving towards the center we had multiple themes and showing important aspects of our lives. Zoey helped with table spacing and design. She even provided some personal decorative pieces to help tie together different themes. Music- We did not have a DJ. We instead made multiple playlists for different stages of the day and Zoey managed each of the playlists seamlessly. Food- We hired a local chef who provided staff for serving. Zoey simply made sure their needs were met in order to provide smooth service. Logistics- Zoey met with us on multiple Zoom calls to hear our vision. At each meeting, she gave us the right amount of food for thought/homework to do without becoming overwhelming. Zoey was even able to get us in contact with a photographer who was also amazing. Reception Dinner/final prep- After the reception dinner, the immediate wedding party and Zoey all reviewed roles to insure efficiency and timeliness. The Big Day- Zoey helped manage two separate locations with 50 guests seamlessly. We did not fall behind at any point of the day and it in no shape or form seemed rushed. Other than enjoying ourselves, Zoey made it to where on the day we just coasted. Zoey was amazing, we are truly impressed with her logistical skills. We are forever grateful to her. Thank you so much! Can 100% recommend Zoey to bring your ideas to life and make your event a cherished memory.”
