Theresa was absolutely amazing! She coordinated and decorated our wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The decorations were better than we could have envisioned and our timeline was smooth sailing. I have catered weddings and almost every wedding had some hitch but ours did not. Theresa was prepared for every second but was also flexible as needed. She made the day stress free and was a comfort in the process. Her communication, professionalism, warmth, and preparedness was over a five star! You do not realize how much goes into planning a wedding until you start planning one and without Theresa many things would have been missed, things as simple as what drinks will you be drinking out of to important things like who is cutting your cake after the feeding of the cake. We never had to worry about missing something or forgetting something because Theresa was knowledgeable about the order and process of wedding planning. If you ask she will tell you how things are done traditionally but she is open to make any changes and will help you figure out what works best for you. I could not recommend her more! I wish we had all of our wedding photos back to give more examples of the beautiful decorating she does!

Then they continued to provide clear and open communication throughout the planning process and were able to make suggestions as needed to advance my vision. The week of the wedding I was in contact with Morgan who would be our official day of coordinator. Morgan ended up saving the day when our bartender cancelled on us last minute; she stepped in and bartended on top of coordinating. Then she was able to work with me to donate our flowers to a women’s shelter; a cause that hits close to home for me. I cannot recommend Avenue Design Studio enough!!

As an event planner and type A personality it was hard to turn something over to someone when you have a vision in your head of what it should look like Those fears and that anxiety were put to rest as soon as I met Courtney and her team. Her month, week and day of coordination went off without a hitch. There were hiccups as with all weddings but I never even knew about them. Her team knew what I needed before I ever even said anything. I cant recommend Combe & Co to enough people.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Memories Made with Brittney LaShea! Brittney was instrumental in making the wedding of my dreams come true! Listen—I am a project manager by profession—super organized, type A control freak, very particular—so for me to hand over the most important day of my life to someone else seemed unimaginable. But from my first meeting with Brittney, I felt nothing but utter confidence in her abilities and she definitely proved me right! I hired Brittney for day-of coordination about 2-3 months out from my wedding which took place March 2025. Brittney is an EXPERT event planner who was able to give me so much guidance even though I was so far into wedding planning. She is also EXTREMELY thorough—“day-of” coordination doesn’t just mean you show up on the day of the wedding and Brittney understands that. She put in the necessary prep work, reviewing vendor contracts, creating a detailed day of timeline, coordinating with vendors, and leading the rehearsal. Working with Brittney in the weeks leading up to the wedding and in particular at the rehearsal, I was able to observe the intentionality with which she builds relationships with people. On the wedding day, Brittney was a literal SUPERHERO. She comes equipped with walkie talkies and the most thorough emergency kit I’ve ever seen! There were things that went wrong throughout the day (that’s inevitable) but Brittney shielded me from so much of that by making executive decisions and coming up with solutions on the fly, which allowed me to just enjoy my day. Cold sparks tripped the power in the reception hall—Brittney handled it. Wind kept blowing over the arch as they were trying to decorate—Brittney handled it. By the end of the night, I didn’t want to deal with the train on my reception dress—Brittney handled it (the woman literally stitched a bustle for me lol). I could go on and on forever about how amazing this woman is. My family, the vendors, and even random guests commented on what an incredible job she did. So I’m just going to say anyone would be LUCKY to have Brittney on their team.

I've always had a deep passion for organizing and planning which is why I chose to start my own Event Planning business. I knew at a young age being a Special Events/Wedding Planner is a dream I wanted to pursue.

We met Jackie and Madison at the NC Bridal and Wedding Expo in Raleigh in 2023. My daughter's wedding day was November of this year, 2024. From the very moment we met them, it was 100% authenticity, practicality, a smart approach, kindness, and just enough edge required to pull off an event of such importance. As we selected them and continued our journey together, the level of communication, organization, attention to detail, and their ability to advocate with professionalism were ever-present as their creative ideas just flowed with each circumstance we encountered. Jackie and Madison were made for planning with families/individuals in preparing and experiencing the activities associated with one of the most important decisions ever made in life...marriage. Jackie was resourceful, stayed connected, guided along the way, and on the days of the rehearsal and of the wedding, both she and Madison worked tirelessly to create beautiful, "everlasting moments" for my daughter and her new husband to remember. They filtered the obstacles, and stood in the gap to ensure the wishes and dreams of the bride and groom for that day were met. That was the most important. There is so much more we could say to endorse Everlasting Moments, but you can clearly read that hiring Jackie and Madison to plan and see through to the success of your wedding or any event is an investment worth making, as they invest in you! They are now family!

At Flourish Wedding Design our goal is to take on the challenge of putting together an unforgettable wedding experience for you and your loved ones while keeping sustainability at the forefront of our minds and your event.

We hired Flourish for both our florals and our wedding coordination, and we definitely recommend their team!! First, I’m not a big flower person and I didn’t really know what I wanted, so Jennifer worked with me to find something in our budget that incorporated our theme/colors. The florals turned out so beautiful that the day after my wedding I impulsively splurged on getting my bouquet preserved in resin as a serving tray because I just couldn’t bear to throw it away! We went with the wedding management option because it made sense with our budget and I had already selected most of our vendors, but they still provided me with vendor recommendations for the last few ones I needed, which definitely reduced the amount of time I spent researching! All wedding coordination services are expensive, but Flourish is reasonably priced, and we got a discount for using a “preferred venue” (The Rafters at Historic St. Marks)- this was also great because they knew our venue super well so they had very helpful tips for our layout and timeline. I chose Flourish because they are a small and local team with a focus on sustainability, so it was a much more personal experience. They made the last few months of wedding planning so much less stressful, and we were very happy with how everything turned out on our wedding day!
