Hello! I’m Andrew, owner and lead planner at A.Carey Events. As a 15-year events industry veteran, I’ve valued being a part of weddings throughout the country, and especially along the East Coast. My company's name is an homage to my grandfather and my daughter, where we all share "Carey" in our name. I started in the industry planning events in college. Once in DC, I worked for a leading floral and décor company delivering over 500+ weddings. I enjoy partnering with couples and helping to execute their vision. It’s an honor to be trusted with such a momentous occasion, surrounded by so many people who are full of joy and love!

Andrew loves designing and executing special moments and helping to turn them into unforgettable memories. He carries this principle through planning each event to the last detail. Andrew excels on the wedding day, providing flawless execution to allow you to live into the memories!

    I feel so incredibly lucky to have worked with Andrew and A.Carey Events for my wedding! I quickly realized once I was engaged that I had NO IDEA how to begin to plan or visualize my day. I had no sense of the details and special touches that would bring the best day of my life into magic. This is why I cannot recommend A.Carey events enough! Andrew and his team immediately took the stress off my shoulders while also making sure my ideas were flushed out but also taken up a notch. We stayed easily in budget while including so many personal touches part of our day. Andrew was very organized, efficient, creative and knowledgeable. He is well connected and was able to communicate on my behalf with all the vendors. He helped me with a timeline and encouraged me along the way. Having them for my entire wedding planning plus a day of coordinator was ideal. I was focused on marrying the love of my life and the wedding and reception were perfect. It was a dream to work with them and I highly recommend for a wedding or any event!

    I had the pleasure to work with Andrew at a wedding and I can tell you he is a dedicated professional with a high standard for doing things right. I always appreciate when planners are thorough on details and Andrew absolutely did that. We worked on some events down to the second to make sure they were done exactly as the couple wanted it and he spent the entire day working diligently with a smile. He'll make your event better for sure!

    I recently photographed a wedding where Andrew from A. Carey Events was the wedding planner. He was on top of it! Andrew kept everyone calm, on track of the timeline, and even checked in with us multiple times throughout the day to make sure we were doing okay and if we needed anything. Very organized and professional! If you're getting married, I highly recommend hiring A. Cary Events!
