From the very first interaction, their communication was quick, friendly, and super detailed - they clearly cared about making our day perfect. And that's exactly what they delivered. I chose to have live piano and violin at my ceremony and they sounded beautiful together. They played every song I requested with depth and precision- even the fairly new music (I requested Birds of a Feather for the recessional, and they NAILED it!) “Having Funk Almighty at our wedding last year was both the cake and icing on top! It’s not just the usual band experience because on top of the great music some of the band stepped onto the dance floor with us, and that just blew our guests away! “Just to preface - I take wedding dance floors extremely seriously. I think it is make or break for the reception. My fiancé and I were trying to keep costs as low as we could and had our eyes on a few other DJ’s that were within our price range and had been good at other weddings until I stumbled on DJ One Chance. I knew from the second I saw his Instagram that I needed to have him at our wedding. His energy, charisma, and ability to read the room is incredible. He was a bit out of our original price range (which was very low to begin with, keep in mind) and I can absolutely tell you that he is worth every single penny. Every planning meeting we had with him got us more and more excited to have him with us on the day of. He listened to the vibe and energy we were going for and could not have done a better job. My parents were blown away that for a bit of a tight dance floor and 200 guests, the dance floor was PACKED from 8:30 - Midnight. Some quotes we received from friends were “I haven’t danced that much at a wedding in a long time” - Rick, 59 years old and “Your DJ was insane. He knew which songs were hits with the crowd and kept the energy going” - MK, 30. He was a hit with every age group and we are forever indebted him for creating the dance floor of our dreams. I have never seen so many people compliment a wedding DJ or a dance floor so passionately. DJ One Chance worked with us seamlessly to make sure we were able to have the best day ever. He even let us request one more last song after the “last song” that we picked ourselves didn’t hit as hard as we wanted. “Don was the perfect DJ! Prior to the event, he scheduled multiple calls to meet us & understand exactly what we were looking for. He has an online portal where we could input our requested songs for key events (i.e. ceremony, cake cutting, etc.), & this portal also had a section for you to identify the songs you really love & songs you like. The day of the wedding, he executed perfectly. He helped keep the reception flowing seamlessly, interacted with guests, & most importantly was able to keep the dance floor going all night. We got so many compliments from our guests saying how wonderful he was & how much fun they had thanks to him. We can't recommend him enough!”
