My husband and I got married at North Lake October 4th, 2025 and had the most beautiful backdrop to the day. North Lake was incredible to work with and were so accommodating. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the venue was. Dan really has put so much thought behind every detail from not having any curbs or steps making it incredibly handicap accessible to constantly making upgrades that only add to the experience. My husband and I are both huge baseball fans and we got married on a Cubs Brewers postseason game that started at 2pm. The tv in the groom's room was not working and Dan brought a tv from his own home and had it set up in time for the game. Any questions I had were promptly responded to by Danelle and she was so sweet and personable. If you're looking for a venue where you have the control of which vendors to work with while not missing out on the location and luxuries of an inclusive venue I'd highly recommend North Lake.

In the actual day of, food was good, drinks were good, DJ was fabulous and incorporated French, English, and Spanish songs requests for my guests. I loved this choice for reception venue and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and affordable coordinating a party of 150 with this team. We didnt want a traditional reception, so we had a party with small bites and an open bar. The view is obviously amazing, but the decor and the vibe is also unbeatable. The food was great, the service made me feel special. They accommodated our needs, but the place is pretty plug and play. I highly recommend.

We had a small rehearsal dinner, followed by a big welcome party on the river for over 200 guests from 20 different states. This is a perfect location for people that have never been to Chicago and those that are locals, because the view of the river and the buildings is absolutely stunning. They have the biggest covered outdoor patio in the city, and it was a perfect setting for our guests. From the dinner food to the appetizers and cocktails, every single detail was excellent. We couldn't believe how kind the staff was, from the person that we first interacted with to every bartender.
