Our wedding at Meyer's Castle was nothing short of magical, and we owe so much of that to our incredible coordinator, Eva.

From day one, Eva was organized, thoughtful, and so genuinely caring. She made sure every detail was in place and that everything ran smoothly--not just behind the scenes, but for me personally as the bride. The day was beautiful, but hot, and Eva went above and beyond to make sure I stayed comfortable and calm. At one point when I was feeling overheated, she literally helped pin my hair up herself. That kind of kindness, grace, and hands-on support is something I'll never forget.

Meyer's Castle was the most stunning backdrop to our big day. The grounds are breathtaking, the atmosphere is so elegant, and our guests were completely blown away by the beauty of it all. Every part of the venue felt like it was straight out of a fairytale--from the ceremony setting to the castle charm that made the whole day feel surreal.

I truly can't imagine having done this without Eva by our side. She was a calm in the chaos, a true professional, and someone who genuinely cared about making our day perfect.

If you're thinking about booking Meyer's Castle--do it. And if you're lucky enough to have Eva as your coordinator, just know you're in the best hands. I'll be forever grateful for her and this dreamy venue that brought our love story to life.

We were thrilled to learn it doubles as a stunning wedding venue! From the grandeur of the 8-foot chandelier and star-like pendant lights to the vintage charm of the ornate tin ceiling tiles, this venue marries historical preservation with modern elegance. The impressive wooden doors promise an unforgettable ceremony entrance, complemented by antique lounge sets and a private entrance through a picturesque glass atrium, perfect for a cocktail hour. The photos I'm including are frames from a video I took during the tour and they simply do not do this beautiful space justice! As a Chicago couple seeking a beautiful wedding without the metropolitan price tag, we were thrilled by 19 North's proximity to Chicago and charming towns like Three Oaks, New Buffalo, and Michigan City. The all-inclusive experience, from the beautiful furnishings to the option of building a custom menu, means fewer details to manage and more time to enjoy the journey to our special day. There are also tons of walkable Airbnbs which will be great for us and our out-of-town guests. Our wedding at Etre farms was absolutely perfect. The Etre team makes wedding plan a dream. I kept thinking to myself, "why am I not stressed yet..shouldn't I be stressed?" month over month ahead of our wedding day - but it's because they think of quite literally everything. Working with their team requires very little from the bridegroom to make your dreams and vision come true. This was especially important to use as we live in a different state and are on the go for work nearly every week. Of course you still need to offer input and share your general vision but they help walk you through details you may be unfamiliar with - we had a handful of meetings over the course of the year and everything we discussed was made a reality. When the wedding finally came, we couldn't have asked for a better day. From the hospitality throughout the getting ready period with our personal concierge and food/drinks provided, to the beautiful space they created with in-house florals (Nicole is amazing!), the best wedding food I've ever had (by far), the beautiful details and signage (shout out Elliana @ Brush Letter Boards) and Etre's amazing in-house DJ - our wedding guests were and still are raving. This review would go on and on if I tried to highlight all the little details this team thought of. We are genuinely sad the planning process is over because we loved meeting and talking with this team regularly - they are all very kind people - so easy to work with and operate like a well-oiled machine. Highly recommend this group and this venue!

Everyone says “Something will go wrong on your wedding day.” They don’t know the magic of the Morris Estate. It’s impossible to describe how perfect our wedding day was, not only for me and my husband, but also our wedding party and our families. Everyone involved got to spend the long weekend relaxing, having fun, and celebrating at this beautiful property without any worry of getting assigned random tasks or cleanup duties— the Morris Estate staff was ON IT every step of the way. At the helm was Ryan Bergstrom, our coordinator, who made the incredibly complicated task of planning a wedding feel easy. As an artist, I wanted every element to be unique and intentional, and was quite frankly worried that the Estate wouldn’t be amenable to a more avant-garde event. I approached them with the idea of hanging a large tapestry painting in the chapel and they got right to work with how they could make that happen. There were no requests that went unheard, and it was clear Ryan was a fantastic collaborator and coordinator in all aspects of planning. Plus, anything or anyone that you need, they have a great recommendation on deck— we found this to be true when seeking an officiant for our ceremony as well as a florist. Trudi and Cherry Road Homestead knocked the florals out of the park. The actual wedding ceremony couldn’t have gone more smoothly, with a comprehensive rehearsal in the chapel and the changing rooms in the basement, everyone was able to get ready on time and relax leading up to the ceremony. With about 100 people in it, the chapel felt intimate but gave guests plenty of room to breathe. It was a short, beautiful ceremony that was tailored exactly to our needs as a couple. Yet another fabulous aspect of working with the Morris Estate was the ease of transition throughout events. Cocktails were in guests’ hands before I could even finish bustling my dress. We never felt rushed, yet everything managed to happen on time. Ryan did a great job taking the time beforehand to meet any vendors not directly from the Estate, so everyone knew exactly what they needed to do their part. The reception was unbelievable. I’ve planned other events, designed movie sets and installation art, and was truly blown away by what they accomplished. It was so exciting to see all of the love and hard work that went into making our vision come to life and see the excitement on guests’ faces when they walked into the tent. It was colorful, magical and totally surreal. Now, to talk about the food. With the estate catering both the rehearsal dinner and reception we got to try just about everything on the menu. We were very pleasantly surprised at our tasting before the wedding. The Estate Manager Nate, Chef Tom and their team had tons of options for us that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Arguably, the most difficult part of working with the Morris Estate was having to pick just a few of the options for our customized menu because they were all. so. good. Our guests had so many kind words about how fun and joyous the entire evening was, and instead of worrying who was going to help clean up at the end of the night, the Morris Estate had it fully covered. Everything was organized back into boxes for us to take home the next morning. I’m sure I’m forgetting so many other wonderful things that the staff did for us, but we will forever be grateful for such an incredible long weekend full of love and celebration. TLDR: Everything was perfect.

I was shocked the first time I visited and met with Angelique and Richard. We had a really great time with them, felt comfortable and well informed. The Armory was absolutely the perfect venue for our August wedding. We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was! Megan served as our coordinator and she was amazingly organized, detail-oriented, and quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the process. She was also very flexible, willing to accommodate to our preferences, and work within our budget. Table decor, food, drink packages are all included which made coordinating the reception very easy. The food is through Navarre Catering is delicious - lots of great options to choose from!

The space at Ironhand is beautiful! We used this venue for our rehearsal lunch the day before our wedding and for family photos before our wedding ceremony. We had a beautiful wedding at Aberdeen. Everything was just as we hoped for and more. The staff is great and very helpful throughout the process. They make sure everything is taken care of along the way so nothing is missing on the day. They offer many options from the ceremony space, to table settings and more. The Wade Hotel was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. Their communication style was positive, professional, and enthusiastic, and they were incredibly supportive throughout the planning process. The entire staff, from the restaurant team to the concierge, security team and valet, were friendly and helpful, ensuring a seamless experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting process, and all of our guests raved about the food and drinks. Although our onsite event manager has since left, she was wonderful to work with as well as our initial booking contact, Natalie. The Wade Hotel provided the best value for our chic city wedding, and we were able to accrue Marriott Bonvoy points, which was an added bonus. We definitely recommend the Wade Hotel. A couple of watchpoints to consider: - we loved the ability to have an outdoor wedding facing the lake however the end of May in Chicago was unpredictable so it was cooler than we hoped. The sun is covered by the building so if your event is in the afternoon/evening that wont help - Our wedding was 150 guests and it was "tight" in the Altitude reception space. I think 125 would have been far more comfortable. - Our wedding was on a holiday weekend so unfortunately many of our guests did not receive lake view rooms for the room block. Some guests also were able to find prices cheaper elsewhere online.

Our guests who stayed and the hotel and vendors working in and out of the hotel had no complaints or confusion in their day. So many of our guests said it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to, and we completely agree! We loved working with Rob and his team to create an unforgettable day, thank you to everyone at the Hilton who works so hard to pull off events like ours regularly. This is why I recommend a union hotel to any couples looking to get married without getting bogged down in details and logistics - these people are pros!

I had an EXCELLENT experience with City Cruises for my August wedding reception / brunch cruise. The sales manager, Serena, event coordinator, Andria, and all the service staff were wonderful. I had dozens of questions running up to the wedding about optimizing my budget and incorporating all kinds of guest preferences—Andria and Serena were so patient. In the actual day of, food was good, drinks were good, DJ was fabulous and incorporated French, English, and Spanish songs requests for my guests. I loved this choice for reception venue and would do it again in a heartbeat.

We just had our wedding here this past weekend and it was perfect from start to finish. Erin Wright, our coordinator, made us feel supported the entire year. We didn't even feel like we needed to hire a planner because they assisted with coordinating so much. We did end up hiring Erin as our day-of coordinator, which the Hyatt offers. She ended up being there that day with two other event managers as well. They recently remodeled all guest rooms, as well as the reception area we used, the Crystal Ballroom. The space has floor to ceiling window views of the city that were incredible. We had our ceremony on the adjacent terrace, which they flipped and allowed people on during dancing! It was such a cool feature. We highly recommend to anyone who wants to have their wedding in the heart of downtown Chicago!

I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and affordable coordinating a party of 150 with this team. We didnt want a traditional reception, so we had a party with small bites and an open bar.
