My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun. “My husband and I booked Blacktie Brothers as our videographer for our wedding in October 2023, and we could not have been more pleased. Mitchell, myself, and both of our families were SO impressed by your team at our wedding. On the day of our wedding, there were quite a few challenges to making the day go as smoothly as I had hoped, mainly the rain caused us to have to move our ceremony inside. The wedding coordinator associated with the venue did not follow up on a few of the tasks she had agreed to doing, namely being present during the photo session to make sure I was comfortable and hydrated. The entire media team at Blacktie Brothers stepped in and handled it so professionally, even getting me water when I felt faint from all of the commotion. Our day wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it had without the help Blacktie Brothers gave us. We opted for the raw footage package, so we received an edited movie of our wedding as well as all the raw footage of our day on a thumb drive. The movie they made is amazing. The song they chose for the ceremony portion of the movie was a special choice— the lyrics reflected some aspects of our story as a couple. It was so thoughtfully crafted and makes me cry whenever I see it! The team was responsive and professional throughout the entire wedding planning process. Any question or concern we had was met with a genuine, timely response. The movie and the raw footage is now something we can have and share for the rest of our lives, and they so beautifully preserved the memory of our day. I have already recommended them to some friend getting married in upstate NY next year. Blacktie Brothers goes above and beyond, and was hands down one of our best vendors.”
