Our photographers and filmmakers plan together and work side by side, so your photographs and film feel like the same story. Trusted for more than 300 weddings, we have artists in New York, Florida and Hawaii and bring one creative standard to celebrations nationwide. Upstate New York is home, from the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes to Central New York, the Catskills and Western New York.     The Perfect Team To Capture Your Day

    My husband and I booked Blacktie Brothers as our videographer for our wedding in October 2023, and we could not have been more pleased. Mitchell, myself, and both of our families were SO impressed by your team at our wedding. On the day of our wedding, there were quite a few challenges to making the day go as smoothly as I had hoped, mainly the rain caused us to have to move our ceremony inside. The wedding coordinator associated with the venue did not follow up on a few of the tasks she had agreed to doing, namely being present during the photo session to make sure I was comfortable and hydrated. The entire media team at Blacktie Brothers stepped in and handled it so professionally, even getting me water when I felt faint from all of the commotion. Our day wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it had without the help Blacktie Brothers gave us. We opted for the raw footage package, so we received an edited movie of our wedding as well as all the raw footage of our day on a thumb drive. The movie they made is amazing. The song they chose for the ceremony portion of the movie was a special choice— the lyrics reflected some aspects of our story as a couple. It was so thoughtfully crafted and makes me cry whenever I see it! The team was responsive and professional throughout the entire wedding planning process. Any question or concern we had was met with a genuine, timely response. The movie and the raw footage is now something we can have and share for the rest of our lives, and they so beautifully preserved the memory of our day. I have already recommended them to some friend getting married in upstate NY next year. Blacktie Brothers goes above and beyond, and was hands down one of our best vendors.

    INCREDIBLE people even not behind the camera

    I couldn’t stress enough how easy it was to call and have conversation with Blacktie Brothers. They took the time to listen to our ideas and our preferences and never made us feel our needs were too much. For our engagement shoot and our wedding shoot, they took their time to make the shots work for our needs, no matter how many times it took. Film collections include a 5 to 10 minute cinematic highlight film with professional audio and a 30 to 90 second social teaser. Because we work as a team, your wedding does not depend on one person. Our artists are trained through the same core approach, and if someone assigned to your wedding cannot be there, we assign another BlackTie Brothers artist and keep you informed. We also back up files and equipment on the wedding day.
Six-hour Upstate New York collections start at $2,785 for Essential Photography and $3,785 for Essential Photo + Film. For 2026-2027 weddings, most couples invest $3,500 to $4,000 for Essential Photography, $4,200 to $5,400 for Essential Photo + Film and $7,000 to $8,000 for Premium Photo + Film. These are planning ranges, not fixed quotes. Your investment depends on venue location, coverage hours, team size, travel and enhancements. New York City, Florida and Hawaii have their own regional pricing, and your proposal confirms the exact scope and price.

In Upstate New York we regularly cover Central New York, the Finger Lakes, the Southern Tier and the Catskills, and we travel across the rest of the state, including New York City and Long Island. We also cover Central and South Florida, Tampa Bay and the Hawaiian islands, and we travel for destination weddings.

A Wedding Experience Director is a BlackTie Brothers team lead included with Premium Photo + Film and available as an add-on. They help with timeline flow, family photo lists, small wardrobe or decor fixes and emergency supplies, and they keep our photographers and filmmakers focused. They do not replace your planner or venue coordinator.
