Hello, I'm Kayla! Voted most likely to succeed in the field of agriculture. Yet somehow, landed here. And I wouldn't change a single thing. Life has taken me on some crazy adventures and up until 6 years ago, none of those pointed to being a photographer. Becoming a mom led me to pick up a camera and since then I haven't put it back down. I quickly developed a passion for telling people's stories. Capturing the most intimate, heartfelt moments truly sets my soul on fire.
My style is eclectic, but united by a common thread - it is always centered on capturing raw emotion and telling your unique story. I strive to develop a relationship with my clients that allows them to relax in front of the camera and to capture their essence in a way that is both natural and authentic, with an eye for detail and a focus on the little moments that make each individual unique. "Light and airy" or "Dark and moody", personally I couldn't decide. My style falls right in between the two. "Light and moody" if you will. With contrasting shadows but an airy feel your photos will be captivating for years to come.

The BEST!

Kayla was absolutely the BEST wedding photographer we could have asked for! From the very beginning, she made the entire process so easy and stress-free, in addition to being flexible when needed. She was incredibly quick and responsive with calls and emails, extremely organized, and always made sure we knew what to expect. She made everything feel so seamless and took so much of the stress out of the planning process for us. On our wedding day, Kayla was truly amazing. Her presence was so calming, which made such a difference during what can otherwise be a hectic and overwhelming day. She was confident and direct when it came to keeping things moving and making sure we got everything we needed, but she was also incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the entire day. What I appreciated most was how genuinely supportive Kayla was. She was truly in my corner and made me feel so comfortable. She was attentive to the little things, so patient, and always made sure I was good. She somehow managed to keep us on track while still allowing us to enjoy every moment. You could tell that she genuinely cared about making our day special, and she handled everything so seamlessly. We are beyond grateful that Kayla was there to capture our wedding day. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also such a wonderful person to have by your side on one of the most important (and craziest) days of your life. We could not recommend her more highly! Kayla was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. She was timely and professional with communication. Kayla was clear with outlining what to expect on the day of our wedding and worked with us to come up with a plan that we liked. We were not interested in the engagement shoot that came along with our package and she was great and flexible with coming up with an alternative that we were all happy with. Kayla made me and my husband feel so comfortable behind the camera, really felt like we could be ourselves. She worked well with controlling the chaos of larger groups including working with young children. She took our feedback and ideas for some shots we wanted to do and let us take the reigns with her professional guidance. The photos she captured were absolutely beautiful and we look forward to hopefully working with her again in the future!
