Hey there! I’m Kelsey, a wedding, engagement, and couples photographer based out of upstate New York. I live in Sidney, NY with my husband and our five cats (we love all the animals.) When I'm not behind the camera, I love cooking, calligraphy, graphic design, and traveling.

I am all about vivid color, helping you find confidence in front of the camera, and capturing the love that's written all over your faces. I’ll be there to help you plan, give you all my tips and tricks, and walk you through every pose and prompt (don’t worry about what to do with your hands, I got you 👍)

    Kelsey is fantastic!

    Working with Kelsey was a dream! She was so incredibly organized leading up to our wedding day, sending a thoughtful questionnaire and customizing our package to fit our needs. I felt completely reassured going into our wedding that she had everything as far as photography covered - which family photos to capture, what was important to my husband and I, and the kind of style we wanted. On the day of, she brought the best energy and everyone loved spending the day with her. She was kind but directed to ensure we knew what to do / where to go. We got our photos back and are SO happy with how everything turned out. Her second photographer was also excellent and so nice to have around all day. She is a lovely human being and excellent photographer. I could not recommend her enough for a wedding or any other special event.

    Perfect Experience with Kelsey!

    We absolutely loved working with Kelsey throughout the wedding planning process!! From our first intro meeting with her - we knew it was a match. Her clear and warm communication leading up to and throughout wedding day, was excellent. She truly went above & beyond for us throughout our wedding weekend and made us feel so comfortable and special. AND the photos are AMAZING (bonus: impressive turn around time!!!). Truly captured our joy & love - everyone has commented how stunning they are. We'd recommend Kelsey again & again!!!

    High Quality!

    Kelsey was a dream to work with! From the very start, she was very professional, kind, and communicative. She was super organized and easy to work with, taking a lot off our plate during the planning process. She even helped us with posing, making sure we felt comfortable and confident in front of the camera. She always stayed in excellent communication, and on the wedding day, she made sure our photos came out perfect. Our entire wedding party also raved about her—they loved working with her and noted how great she was! The resulting photos are beautiful. We were especially grateful that she gave us access to our full collection of photos without watermarks; this made it very easy for us to keep all of the beautiful pictures from our day and just as easy to download and use on social media. We highly recommend Kelsey!

    Amazing

    Choosing Kelsey Travis Photography for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made in our entire planning process. From the very first conversation to the final moments of our big day, Kelsey and her assistant Ashley brought an energy, passion, and professionalism that was simply unmatched. Not only is Kelsey incredibly talented behind the lens, but she also has this beautiful gift of making people feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated. She captured every emotion, every tear, every laugh, and every detail big and small with such artistry and intention. Her assistant Ashley also indulged our children crazy ideas.     Great photographer!

    Kelsey Travis is an exceptional choice for your wedding photographer. She has a timeless editing style, a rare talent for capturing beautiful moments, and a personality that is so wonderful to work with. Even before we saw our wedding photos, my husband and I kept saying Kelsey (and her colleague Matt) did such a great job and we were really grateful she was our photographer. She's so organized and communicative and you get so much value from working with Kelsey. Her results are spectacular--she made a little bit of a dreary day for an outdoor wedding look absolutely stunning. We don't even know which photo to frame because there are so many beautiful pictures to choose from.

I live in a small town (Mount Upton, NY) located between Binghamton and Oneont,NY, but I travel all around the state for weddings.
For weddings that require an overnight stay (typically more than 3 hours from me), I do charge a travel fee. The amount is dependent on the location, so feel free to reach out and I can let you know what that fee would be.
Absolutely! It's SO important that you see full galleries from your wedding photographer, so I send out at least three full galleries to every couple that inquires with me. If you'd like to see more just let me know, I love to share!
For engagement sessions I deliver at least 60 photos, and for weddings, you'll typically receive 80-100 photos per hour of coverage.
When you're ready I’ll send you a proposal with a contract and invoice. There is a non-refundable retainer that goes towards the final amount, and the remainder is split into two payments. The first payment is due 90 days before your wedding date, and the remainder is due 30 days before your wedding date. Once the invoice is paid and the contract is signed you’ll be officially on my calendar! Yayyy!
