Hey there! I’m Kelsey, a wedding, engagement, and couples photographer based out of upstate New York. I live in Sidney, NY with my husband and our five cats (we love all the animals.) When I'm not behind the camera, I love cooking, calligraphy, graphic design, and traveling.
I am all about vivid color, helping you find confidence in front of the camera, and capturing the love that's written all over your faces. I’ll be there to help you plan, give you all my tips and tricks, and walk you through every pose and prompt (don’t worry about what to do with your hands, I got you 👍)

High Quality!
Kelsey was a dream to work with! From the very start, she was very professional, kind, and communicative. She was super organized and easy to work with, taking a lot off our plate during the planning process. She even helped us with posing, making sure we felt comfortable and confident in front of the camera. She always stayed in excellent communication, and on the wedding day, she made sure our photos came out perfect. Our entire wedding party also raved about her—they loved working with her and noted how great she was! The resulting photos are beautiful. We were especially grateful that she gave us access to our full collection of photos without watermarks; this made it very easy for us to keep all of the beautiful pictures from our day and just as easy to download and use on social media. We highly recommend Kelsey!

From the very first conversation to the final moments of our big day, Kelsey and her assistant Ashley brought an energy, passion, and professionalism that was simply unmatched. Not only is Kelsey incredibly talented behind the lens, but she also has this beautiful gift of making people feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated. She captured every emotion, every tear, every laugh, and every detail big and small with such artistry and intention. Her assistant Ashley also indulged our children crazy ideas. Our wedding was filled with sentimental moments, surprises, and meaningful family traditions, and somehow Kelsey and Ashley managed to be everywhere at once, documenting it all without ever being intrusive. It was like having a dear friends’s with a camera, who just gets it. Our guests even commented on how amazing and kind our photographers were, which speaks volumes. They “blended” in effortlessly, hyped us up when we needed it, and even helped wrangle family for portraits like an absolute pro. Kelsey Travis is an exceptional choice for your wedding photographer. She has a timeless editing style, a rare talent for capturing beautiful moments, and a personality that is so wonderful to work with. Even before we saw our wedding photos, my husband and I kept saying Kelsey (and her colleague Matt) did such a great job and we were really grateful she was our photographer. She's so organized and communicative and you get so much value from working with Kelsey. Her results are spectacular--she made a little bit of a dreary day for an outdoor wedding look absolutely stunning. We don't even know which photo to frame because there are so many beautiful pictures to choose from.
