Our rental packages include 10 hours of prep and event time in our 6,000 square foot log cabin facility, plus access to three dressing cabins, an outdoor pavilion for use as a cocktail hour or backup weather ceremony site, and our stunning outdoor arbor area with our 2-acre pond serving as your backdrop. If you wish for help in the wedding planning process, Cross Creek Ranch can also include items such as catering, floral, coordination, and more! We have three ceremony sites available with 2 of the 3 working if bad weather derails your outdoor ceremony plans.

The turn of the century brick building, originally a wholesale grocery warehouse, was built by Augustus Chapel King who founded and operated The King Grocery Company. Mr. King, also known as Gus, is woven into the history of McKinney. His namesake, The Augustus, pays homage to his one-of-a-kind space along with McKinney's storied past. The Venue offers a bridal suite complete with h/m stations, smart tv+mini fridge, a masculine grooms cabin with smart tv +mini fridge, a large outdoor ceremony space, an indoor chapel, a large covered porch for cocktail hour, (2) kitchens, bar kitchen, and a large catering kitchen. We have two sets of men’s and women’s restrooms, one set at each end of the building. We also have a fully handicap accessible restroom. We have on site lodging as well as a smaller venue for your rehearsal dinner.

In the Spring of 2016, our family came together to build this venue in the hopes that we could provide a peaceful place for the most joyful celebrations. Full access to a storage room packed with decor for your use is included with all rental packages. The Cottage offers multiples rooms and a mirrored salon. The Cabin (dating back to 1905) has been remodeled to serve as a getting ready-space as well. Our Chapel features family-made stained-glass and antique pews. The chapel sides can open to provide the scenery of being outdoors with the convenience of being indoors. The two-story Reception Hall can accommodate up to 242 people. Exposed wooden beams contrast with chandeliers that cast a welcoming glow across the interior. Our venue is located close to modern amenities while still offering a tranquil setting for inspired celebrations.
