    Absolutely Amazed

    We got married at Painted Lakes in Bryson, Texas on September 19, 2026, and I honestly don’t think we could have chosen a more perfect place to begin our marriage. From the moment we started planning our wedding, Susan, Wade, and their entire staff were absolutely incredible. They didn’t just provide us with a beautiful venue — they truly cared about us and about making our wedding day everything we had dreamed it would be. They went above and beyond in ways we will never forget, and we felt so loved and taken care of throughout the entire process. Painted Lakes is absolutely beautiful, but what makes it even more special is the people behind it. Our wedding day was filled with so many emotions, memories, and little moments that we will carry with us forever, and having such an amazing team helping make it all come together meant more to us than we can put into words. When we look back on September 19th, we will always remember how perfect our day felt — and Painted Lakes was such a huge part of that. We got to celebrate with the people we love in a place that felt absolutely magical, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Susan, Wade, and everyone at Painted Lakes — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping make one of the most important days of our lives so incredibly special.     06/24/26 - Wedding

    I highly recommend Painted Lakes Ranch for future weddings! The owners, Susan and Wade, along with their coordination team, are the absolute sweetest and most helpful people. They do everything they can to reduce stress and make sure your day runs perfectly. Their packages include so many helpful additions—like tables, linens, bartending, security, and access to a massive decor collection—which saved us so much time and money. They even have cabins on site that family and friends can stay in. The cabins are comfortable, welcoming and spacious. The 'wedding barn' has so much historic charm, and our guests loved the climate-controlled indoor reception space. It is a beautiful, seamless venue run by people who genuinely care. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to celebrate our love at Painted Lakes Ranch.

    Peaceful Wedding Venue

    This venue was amazing to work with. My daughter and son-in-law chose Painted Lakes Ranch for their special day. They were super helpful, the ranch was so clean and well kept, and it was wonderful having the cabins for them to stay in.

Yes! Couples may provide their own alcohol, which can be a great way to save on bar costs. All alcohol is served by our in-house bartender. Couples may offer up to 2 signature cocktails and 4 beer selections. Frozen drinks are also available with our margarita machine add-on. For everyone's safety, guests may not bring or serve their own alcohol (no BYOB).
Yes, we have onsite parking. PLR provides a shuttle from the parking lot to the venue.
Yes! We have an open vendor policy, giving you the freedom to choose the vendors that best fit your style and budget. We also provide a preferred vendor list if you'd like recommendations. Our in-house bartender and security are required and are already included with our wedding experiences. Caterers must be professional and approved by PLR, and adequate serving staff is required.
Yes! A professional Day-of Coordinator is included with our wedding experiences at no additional charge. Your coordinator attends your second-look planning meeting, helps create your wedding-day timeline, conducts your rehearsal, coordinates with your vendors, and is there on your wedding day to help keep everything running smoothly so you and your family can enjoy the celebration.
Yes! Painted Lakes Ranch offers four beautiful ceremony locations, allowing you to choose the setting that best fits your wedding vision. Options include our breathtaking Overlook on Tumbleweed Mountain, Lakeside, beneath the beautiful oak trees, and our Front View ceremony site. We also have the climate-controlled Sun Room available as an indoor backup for inclement weather. For our more remote ceremony locations, we shuttle guests so everyone can relax and enjoy the experience.
Absolutely! Our beautiful, climate-controlled Sun Room provides an indoor ceremony option in the event of rain, extreme heat or other inclement weather. With large industrial windows overlooking the lake and ranch, you can still enjoy beautiful views and natural light while keeping your guests comfortable. We also have an arbor available for your ceremony setup, so your backup plan can be just as beautiful as Plan A.

Yes! Our 3-day, 2-night Monday–Wednesday Wedding Experience is $9,500 and includes the same wonderful amenities as our weekend experience. It's a great option for couples who love the idea of a destination-style ranch wedding while looking for a more budget-friendly date.
Our wedding experiences give you private access to the ranch for three days, so you'll have plenty of time to settle in, rehearse, prepare and enjoy time with family and friends. Your actual wedding ceremony and reception may be up to 6 consecutive hours, including bar service. This allows you to enjoy the full wedding-weekend experience while keeping the wedding-day celebration within the event hours outlined in your contract.
