Nestled among the rolling hills of North Texas, Painted Lakes Ranch is a breathtaking wedding and event venue on a large property that blends rustic beauty with modern elegance. Located near Graham and Possum Kingdom Lake, the ranch offers sweeping views, vibrant sunsets, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels worlds away from the rush of everyday life. The ranch also offers cozy onsite lodging allowing family and friends to stay close throughout the weekend. Whether it’s a rehearsal dinner, a morning coffee overlooking the pastures, or a late-night around the fire pit under the stars, every moment at Painted Lakes Ranch feels like part of the celebration. Couples can exchange vows at one of several ceremony sites, each uniquely beautiful — from hilltop views and oak-shaded meadows to lakeside serenity and the rustic charm of the venue. A little bit of Heaven...
The Tumbleweed Room has plenty of space for 100-150 seated guests, and PLR provides tables, chairs, table cloths, kitchen prep area, bar and adjoining Sun Room. Step out on the porch and enjoy a panoramic view with old oak trees and a duck pond. Pictures do not do it justice. You have several packages to choose from to include a weekend package with lodging onsite for up to 22 guests! Call 940.229.9399 to schedule a tour!

This package includes everything you need from the venue to host a beautiful weekend wedding, and all you have to do is schedule catering, floral, DJ, photographer and your officiant. If you are busy, we can handle all of it with our all-inclusive option where we sit down with you and find our exactly what you want, and we schedule everything for you. We can also schedule a full wedding planner if you want that option.

I highly recommend Painted Lakes Ranch for future weddings! The owners, Susan and Wade, along with their coordination team, are the absolute sweetest and most helpful people. They do everything they can to reduce stress and make sure your day runs perfectly. Their packages include so many helpful additions—like tables, linens, bartending, security, and access to a massive decor collection—which saved us so much time and money. They even have cabins on site that family and friends can stay in. The cabins are comfortable, welcoming and spacious. The 'wedding barn' has so much historic charm, and our guests loved the climate-controlled indoor reception space. It is a beautiful, seamless venue run by people who genuinely care. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to celebrate our love at Painted Lakes Ranch.

Peaceful Wedding Venue
Painted Lakes Ranch was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first spoke with Susan, we were impressed by their caring and attentive communication style. They listened closely to our vision and worked hard to make everything stress-free and easy. The rustic and cozy venue was beautifully decorated, offering multiple picturesque areas for us to capture stunning photos throughout the day.
