About this venue

Painted Lakes Ranch is a stunning Texas wedding venue situated on 500 acres with a historical climate controlled barn on top of a hill overlooking a duck pond and a huge property with old oak trees everywhere. PLR offers multiple outdoor options for your ceremony and the option to move it indoors in the event of inclement weather. We have a view on a hill, a view on an overlook, wooded view amongst the cedars and more. PLR is located in North Texas near Graham and Possum Kingdom just outside a little town called Bryson. PLR is less than an hour from Weatherford, Fort Worth, and Wichita Falls.

Texas Tumbleweed Barn

A little bit of Heaven...

The Texas Tumbleweed Barn has plenty of space for 150-200 seated guests, and PLR provides tables, chairs, table cloths, centerpieces, kitchen prep area, bar and a 3,000 sq ft covered patio (dance floor) adjoining the barn. Step out on the porch and enjoy a panoramic view with old oak trees and a duck pond. Pictures do not do it justice. This package includes the venue from noon on Friday to 9:00 Am Sunday, with 2 nights lodging in bridal suite and grooms cabin for 16 guests (check out at 11:00 AM) as well as: The location for the ceremony including the arbor and chairs, A climate-controlled barn for the reception including tables and chairs, The location for bridals, Bartender service (alcohol, setups, ice and such are not included), Fishing, games, hiking access to the fire pit for those who stay onsite,
