The Tumbleweed Room has plenty of space for 100-150 seated guests, and PLR provides tables, chairs, table cloths, kitchen prep area, bar and adjoining Sun Room. Step out on the porch and enjoy a panoramic view with old oak trees and a duck pond. Pictures do not do it justice. You have several packages to choose from to include a weekend package with lodging onsite for up to 22 guests! Call 940.229.9399 to schedule a tour!

    I highly recommend Painted Lakes Ranch for future weddings! The owners, Susan and Wade, along with their coordination team, are the absolute sweetest and most helpful people. They do everything they can to reduce stress and make sure your day runs perfectly. Their packages include so many helpful additions—like tables, linens, bartending, security, and access to a massive decor collection—which saved us so much time and money. They even have cabins on site that family and friends can stay in. The cabins are comfortable, welcoming and spacious. The 'wedding barn' has so much historic charm, and our guests loved the climate-controlled indoor reception space. It is a beautiful, seamless venue run by people who genuinely care. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to celebrate our love at Painted Lakes Ranch.

    Painted Lakes Ranch

    Painted Lakes Ranch was absolutely the most beautiful place to have a wedding. The venue is amazing, and the owners were wonderful to work with—helpful, accommodating, and professional every step of the way.     Peaceful Wedding Venue

    Painted Lakes Ranch was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first spoke with Susan, we were impressed by their caring and attentive communication style. They listened closely to our vision and worked hard to make everything stress-free and easy. The rustic and cozy venue was beautifully decorated, offering multiple picturesque areas for us to capture stunning photos throughout the day.     Mom of the Bride

    This venue was amazing to work with. My daughter and son-in-law chose Painted Lakes Ranch for their special day. They were super helpful, the ranch was so clean and well kept, and it was wonderful having the cabins for them to stay in.

The couple brings the alcohol, and the in-house bartender serves it. You can have 2 signature drinks and up to 4 different types of beer. We offer a margarita machine for rent, so frozen drinks are an option in addition to the signature drinks. Absolutely NO BYOB for guests.
Yes, we have onsite parking. Security offers a shuttle from the parking lot to the venue.
Yes with the exception of the bartender and security.
Yes! We have a Day of Coordinator who attends your second look, compiles an agenda, attends rehearsal and takes great care of your wedding day! This is included in your package.
Yes! Painted Lakes Ranch is on a large property with multiple ceremony locations. If the ceremony is away from the venue, it becomes an upgrade and we shuttle guests on the party trailer. It's fun!
Yes! We have a panoramic Sun Room with climate control that works great for bad weather days. We also provide the arbor and setup.
