I approach every wedding with the same mentality, how can I tell the story of today in the most real way possible? I’ve found the best way to do that is to just be me. A little bit about me so you feel like you're connecting with a real person- I'm Emily. I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and so I love animals and nature. I love thrift stores, tropical plants, and horses. I live with a little tribe of wildmen- my husband, my two year old, and our cat who is probably part lion. I have a counseling degree and that has really formed me as a photographer. My film guy is my husband Zach, and we met in a library. He knows five different ways to brew coffee and can play six different instruments.

Born & raised in the suburbs of Philly. During the very limited time that I'm not being a photog, you can find me picking out my next plant baby, redecorating our home, or planning my next travel adventure. I love the sky. Clouds, sunshine, sunrises, sunsets, moon & stars; all of it. I met the love of my life while photographing his best friend's wedding back in October 2014, he proposed in November 2017, & we got married in September 2018! {Ask me, I'd love to tell you all about it}  Ways to my heart... puppies. I started taking photos when I was in high school, but did not pursue this passion of mine until 2019. When I first started, I did not think I would ever shoot weddings. However, I started second shooting for my wedding photographer and fell in love with it. There's something about capturing those special moments of two lovebirds and seeing the pure joy and love they have for each other. I love love and enjoy playing a part in preserving love in a way that people can look back on for a lifetime. God creates the most beautiful stories and it's an honor to capture His beautiful creation.
