I’m Heidi Swonger, a Central/ Eastern PA-based photographer who’s obsessed with lifestyle moments + natural light. My style is capturing true, authentic, candid moments. I love telling the story of a wedding day through capturing, not only the big events but also the smallest of details. Especially the ones that no one realizes are happening.

It is my goal to give you the best possible wedding experience when you hire me to be your wedding photographer. I want you to know that I prioritize my clients and their experience when planning a wedding because it is no small thing to invest in the right photographer for YOU. So I don't take it lightly that you would consider me for this huge role. I'm here to offer you help and direction when planning the day. We go over your timeline multiple times together leading up to the wedding to make sure we're utilizing your photo coverage time correctly and efficiently, and to ensure that the day will plan to run as smoothly as possible.

Heidi is amazing at what she does. She was able to help us decide on a package that was right for us. She made us feel comfortable and natural during our engagement and wedding photos. No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

My turnaround time varies by season. Final images will be delivered via a beautiful, professional online gallery + a custom USB drive. Your highlight gallery will be ready in 2-3 weeks, with your final gallery in 6-8 weeks. Don't worry, you will receive sneak peeks throughout the process!

When photographing I don't "pose" my couples, so much as I prompt them- think verbs. Think running, jumping, twirling, dancing, hugging, etc. When I started taking this approach, my photos transformed from stiff + posed to a natural + emotional feel.

Each collection is different, every couple is different. I am an over shooter, so I promise you will get a bunch! You paid for the photos, they are all yours!

YES! Traveling + experiencing new places + venues is a must! 60 miles of travel for an engagement & 60 miles of travel for a wedding are included with all collections. All other requests will be given a travel quote!
