Weddings are about promises, and the messy wonderful magic that is marriage. Each wedding I shoot is deeply personal to me. I’m inspired by nostalgia, history, and your story. The smallest details you’ve curated and created, the family who may be all together for the first time in years, the expectation and celebration woven through this one day. No wedding day is the same and my passion is the searching out of the moments and emotions unique to your day.

My approach is clean and modern with an emphasis on capturing the authentic moments and the true emotion of your day. I love getting caught up in a wedding day, the details you’ve worked so hard on, and the love your day is centered on. Don't tell anyone, but I usually shed a tear or two during the first dances. Weddings are often just the beginning of my relationships with clients, as so many turn into friends that I see year after year to photograph as their families grow.

    Working with Alisia is a true pleasure. Shortly before the ceremony we were hit with a severe thunderstorm and Alisia went above and beyond to adjust her timeline and photo locations to ensure the couple was able to get the photos that were important to them, even if that meant getting a little wet! She’s down to earth, flexible, and will make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. And her talent speaks for itself; she truly captures each couples’ joy.

    Alisia is truly incredible! She was so attentive throughout the day capturing all of the couples special moments. I had the privilege of working with her at multiple weddings and I can't recommend her enough!! Alisia is so sweet and cares about each of her couples.     Alisia Thompson beautifully captured all the special moments of our wedding day! She is very attentive to detail, has great communication and I felt at ease knowing she would make sure nothing was missed! It is so special to look back through the photos and relive all the moments (big and small) of our wedding day!! Her work is stunning, the shots look like they are straight out of a magazine!!
