I started taking photos when I was in high school, but did not pursue this passion of mine until 2019. When I first started, I did not think I would ever shoot weddings. However, I started second shooting for my wedding photographer and fell in love with it. There's something about capturing those special moments of two lovebirds and seeing the pure joy and love they have for each other. I love love and enjoy playing a part in preserving love in a way that people can look back on for a lifetime. God creates the most beautiful stories and it's an honor to capture His beautiful creation.

One of the most common themes I hear from previous couples, and even their families, is the "breathe of fresh air" I bring to the day, as well as the calming presence, genuineness, kindness, and professionalism I have. I love to laugh, I can be weird, I love to have fun. Your wedding day is about you and all that you want it to be and it's my goal to make sure that reigns true all throughout the day. You need a tissue? I have one in my pocket. You forgot your hanger for your dress? There's one in my bag. You are not just another client to me, you are so much more than that.

    Melissa was Amazing!!!

    Melissa did such a wonderful job photographing our wedding! She was so easy to work with, extremely professional, and flexible throughout the entire day. She handled last minute changes so well and was able to go with the flow, which made everything feel so much less stressful. We absolutely love how our photos turned out and are so grateful to have these beautiful memories to look back on for years to come. We would highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a talented, professional, and accommodating wedding photographer!

    Great experience and perfectly captured photos!

    Working with Melissa was the absolute best! Her photos are gorgeous and perfectly captured our big day! She’s also so fun to work with and makes everything feel so easy and natural. My husband and I were nervous going into our engagement session because we have never had professional photos done, but Melissa made us feel so comfortable and kept things light and fun! She’s also great at wrangling the bridal parties and family members for all of the group pictures that are needed on the wedding day! I would recommend her to anyone!

    BEST photographer!!

    Melissa was the best choice to photograph our wedding!! She made it very natural and comfortable for us which is huge because neither of us are big on being in the spotlight. She had our sneak peek photos sent out before we were even awake the next morning!! I would recommend Melissa to anyone needing a photographer!

    The sweetest photographer!!

    We love Melissa so much!! We had her do our Christmas cards last year to build the relationship and we’ve been so happy ever since, I can’t wait to use her for many years to come! In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my trusted associate shooters! I can also provide you with a list of photographers should you prefer to find someone else.
For weddings, you will receive sneak peaks within 24-48 hours. Your final gallery will be delivered within 4-7 weeks after your wedding.
Yes! I always shoot with dual slots, meaning I shoot on two SD cards so there is always a backup! Once I get home, I save those images to a hard drive so they are triple backed up. Don't worry, we got you covered.
Typically, couples book at least 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame! I am currently still taking on a few more 2025 weddings and books are open for 2026 and 2027!
