I started taking photos when I was in high school, but did not pursue this passion of mine until 2019. When I first started, I did not think I would ever shoot weddings. However, I started second shooting for my wedding photographer and fell in love with it. There's something about capturing those special moments of two lovebirds and seeing the pure joy and love they have for each other. I love love and enjoy playing a part in preserving love in a way that people can look back on for a lifetime. God creates the most beautiful stories and it's an honor to capture His beautiful creation.

One of the most common themes I hear from previous couples, and even their families, is the "breathe of fresh air" I bring to the day, as well as the calming presence, genuineness, kindness, and professionalism I have. I love to laugh, I can be weird, I love to have fun. Your wedding day is about you and all that you want it to be and it's my goal to make sure that reigns true all throughout the day. You need a tissue? I have one in my pocket. You forgot your hanger for your dress? There's one in my bag. You are not just another client to me, you are so much more than that.

    Melissa is truly the sweetest person to work with! She took our photos back when we were in college, so having her capture our wedding felt like such a full-circle moment. She made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day, and she somehow managed to capture every emotion and special moment so perfectly. We were blown away when she sent us a ton of amazing sneak peeks the very next day! Her work is absolutely incredible!!! We can’t stop obsessing over our photos and can’t wait to see the rest.     Melissa not only has an eye for capturing the most beautiful details and moments, she is also one of the sweetest, most genuine women you will meet. It was a joy to work with her and her presence was calming and fun during the hustle bustle of the busy wedding day.
