Together, Jess and Lizzie, have experience with both intimate bridal parties as well as larger wedding crews! We strive to help make your day go smoothly and are in your corner every step of the way. Yes! Our travel fee starts at $50 for the first 0-15 miles (distance is calculated between the getting-ready location/venue and our salon location. After the first 15 miles, there is an added fee of $1.50/mile. Trial appointments for the bride take place at Rhoads and Company Salon and Boutique in Carlisle, PA approximately 2 weeks to 3 months prior to the wedding date.

Yes! You can absolutely just book for hair or makeup if you do not need both.

Yes! Trials are so highly important and recommended that we include it in the cost of your bridal cost. Trials are typically scheduled 1-2 months before the wedding to perfect your look and ensure everything runs smoothly on the big day.

It’s best to book as early as possible- ideally 6-12 months in advance, especially for popular dates during peak wedding season.

Yes, a $300 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding date.

For best results, arrive with a clean moisturized face and clean dry hair. Detailed prep instructions will be provided before your trial and wedding day.

Yes, to reserve your wedding date with Rhoads & Co. for on location services, we require a minimum of $675 (Bride + 3 Squad/mothers) in services per category if you’re booking only hair or only makeup. The combined minimum is $1,350 for both hair and makeup services.

Rhoads & Company Boutique Salon was a fantastic choice for our wedding day hair styling. From the moment I reached out, her communication was professional, quick, and kind. My hairstylist, Jess, arrived on time and ready to get the party started. She made everyone in our bridal party feel comfortable in her chair and ensured we all loved our hairstyles. The quality of Jess's work was truly exceptional - she was creative and able to work with all hair types to bring our vision to life. After my trial, I had a specific idea in mind for my wedding day look, and Jess expertly executed it, I even agreed to cutting a few inches off my hair that morning to make it perfect. Jess and Lizzie are the real MVPs. I met them at my venue's open house and signed my contract THAT DAY because I knew that these girls would be the exact right fit for my big day. Jess and Lizzie know how to give you exactly what you want (even if you don't know it yourself! lol) while keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed. My trial was an easy step to help figure out what I wanted and then communication before the big day was a breeze. When our wedding day arrived Jess and Lizzie kept things moving and all my girls informed me that they were so much fun to work with. I would highly recommend the Rhoads & Co. bridal team to anyone who needs some pampering and I plan to continue coming to Rhoads & Co. for my beauty needs!

I cannot recommend Jess enough! I LOVED my bridal hair and it’s all thanks to her. I am not great when it comes to hair and honestly didn’t know exactly what I wanted for my bridal look, but she took the time to listen to my thoughts and walk me through options, offer suggestions, and helped me figure out a style that felt perfect! She absolutely nailed it and my hair turned out better than I even imagined it could. My hair held in place all day even through all the dancing and running around. She was so easy to work with and brought such a calm, stress free energy to my wedding morning. My bridal party also loved her - everyone was so happy with their hair and she made the whole experience fun and relaxed! She truly created a great atmosphere from start to finish and I am so grateful for her as a person and her talent in hair in general, but especially bridal hair! I cannot recommend her enough.

Lizzie was the make-up artist for our wedding in November 2025. She was great to work with- she made me feel very comfortable telling her what I did and didn’t like, starting at the first appointment for my bridal trial. I had one look that I thought I liked for the bridal trial, and when it didn’t look the way I thought it would look on me (my own fault, not hers), Lizzie adjusted my make-up until I was happy. My make-up for my wedding day was flawless and I got multiple complements on how good it looked. Lizzie did a great job because it was a look that was different from my trail look, and she only had a photo for a basis! I also appreciated that they adjust the price you are paying based off the number of people you need done- I had a very small bridal party, and many people were not flexible with the pricing like Rhoads & Co./Lizzie was. I also felt that the contract did a great job making sure everything was covered and all expectations were clear.
