They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. “If you're looking for a wedding DJ, I cannot recommend Fidel enough! From the very beginning, he was organized, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day exactly what we envisioned. Before the wedding, we had three video calls to go over every detail. He also created a shared Google Doc where we could easily organize everything he needed to know, from our ceremony processional songs, cocktail hour and dinner playlists, bridal party entrance songs, must-play songs, and even a list of songs we absolutely did not want played. The entire planning process was seamless and made us feel confident that every detail was covered. Fidel also provided all of the audio equipment for our outdoor ceremony, including speakers and microphones for our officiant and my cousin, who sang during the ceremony. One of the most thoughtful things he did was help with my processional song. I had chosen a song that didn't have an instrumental version anywhere. Instead of telling me it wasn't possible, he created a custom instrumental version so my cousin could practice singing with it before the wedding. That meant so much to me and is something I'll never forget. On the wedding day, Fidel absolutely delivered. He transitioned smoothly through every part of the day and kept the reception flowing effortlessly. He took song requests throughout the night while still staying true to the vibe we wanted, and I especially appreciated that he played clean versions of songs earlier in the reception since we had a lot of younger cousins celebrating with us. The dance floor stayed full, the energy never dropped, and everyone had an amazing time. In fact, the very next day, every person I asked about the wedding immediately commented on how great the music was. That says everything. You can truly tell that Fidel loves what he does, and it shows in every part of his work. He went above and beyond in ways we never expected, and because of him our ceremony and reception were absolutely perfect. If you're considering hiring him, don't hesitate, you won't regret it!”

Spectrum Band was the most affordable band with HIGH quality performance. 2 years later and people still comment on how much energy the band brought to our reception! “We always ranked the music as the number one priority for our wedding, and we’re so glad we entrusted David Rothstein Band to bring our party to life. Planning a wedding during Covid had many challenges, including not being able to see the band live, but thankfully, David has so many live videos available where we can see the entertainment his band delivers day in and day out. Those videos, along with David’s passion for his work, made us confident to chose his team to make our day special. For our wedding, we had a classical duo during the ceremony, a pianist during cocktail hour, a jazz trio during dinner, and an incomparable 10 piece orchestra to dance the night away. From the first note to the final encore, we were BLOWN AWAY with the talent and energy that the band brought. We had a few special requests for the night - from a unique arrangement for our ceremony processional to a mashup of New York songs during the reception - and David’s team was beyond accommodating. We had dancing for 3 hours straight and not once did anyone leave the floor - the band was able to feel the energy in the room and chose the right song for the moment. I stumbled across the ingoing setlist after the party and was actually surprised to see that the band didn’t even stick to the songs they had picked - a sign that they adjusted based on what the crowd was loving.
