“I knew we needed to book Kaitlin from the second I found her Zola profile, but it was completely solidified by our meet and greet meeting. Kaitlin is exactly as described. So personal, completely herself, open and transparent, I could go on and on. One of the biggest things that sold us with Kaitlin (besides her work) was the fact that she gave us advice on what to look for/questions to ask with other photography vendors while we were on our hunt. We had our engagement photos in October in Boothbay Harbor and we are actually located in Western Mass. I had ideas in my head about what would work and Kaitlin made the drive to check out the locations and ensure they actually would. One of my locations wasn't the best lighting wise and she gave multiple other options to get similar looks. We actually ended up doing some downtown photos which are some of my favorites (which is a little a lie because I am obsessed with all of them). I read in multiple of Kaitlin's reviews that she makes awkward people comfortable behind the camera and I am here to say it is true. He was easy to talk to. We ended up booking him for our engagement photos AND our wedding photos. Our engagement photo session was seamless. Jason was easy to work with and he made my (now) husband and I feel so comfortable. Photo sessions do NOT have to be awkward with Jason. He recommended the LA Arboretum and the Pasadena City Hall for our shoot and we couldn't have asked for any better location. Jason knew exactly where to go and what to do. When it came time for our wedding day, Jason and Mae (his second) were so nice. They did not rush us for any photoshoot. He had us take our time, take breathers, and helped us stress about one less thing during the day. We just got our photos back and they are downright GORGEOUS. I could not believe these were us.
