Massachusetts born and raised, my love for photography and video began in 8th grade when I first got my hands on the classic Nikon CoolPix and later, a Sony Handycam. I started documenting life simply because I did not want moments to disappear. Friends, family, everyday chaos, and quiet in-between scenes all felt worth preserving. What began as curiosity grew into a lifelong devotion. Through college and long after earning a communications degree, I continued refining the way I see the world through the lens of my camera. If you are drawn to imagery that feels timeless, personal, and true, I would be honored to document your story!

What sets me apart is the way I approach visual art. My work is rooted in observation, patience, and trust. I focus on how moments feel & prioritize angles. I treat each shoot as if it were my own. My appreciation for the time, effort, and money that go into capturing a couple's perfect day is what drives me to deliver a product we all can be excited about, for years to come :)

We are so grateful to have found Mike. He stepped in when our originally booked photographer was no longer able to shoot our wedding, and from the very first conversation he made me feel completely secure and confident that we were in great hands. Mike jumped right in seamlessly and was a calm, professional but fun presence throughout the day. Communication was amazing before, during, and after the wedding, which made the entire experience feel easy and stress-free. We would absolutely recommend Mike without hesitation and would gladly work with him again.

Michael was tremendously attentive to all the details we reviewed with him. We discussed some details we really wanted him to capture such as speeches, and us getting ready and he did a fantastic job balancing time between bride/bridesmaids and groom/groomsmen. He was able to get flattering angles, and was able to produce a short video for us of all the best moments, along with a longer wedding video we watch every year on our anniversary. We highly recommend him, and appreciated his attention to detail.

When my (now) husband and I were booking vendors for our wedding, we had no idea where to start looking for a photographer. I decided to let Zola recommend some vendors and we ended up booking with So Behold This, who works very closely with Michael at Michael Francis Films. Michael was our photographer the day of our wedding and everything was great! He is super fun to work with, professional and his work is fantastic.
