As a Massachusetts native, my love for photography and video began in 8th grade. Through college & long after earning a communications degree, I continued refining the way I see the world through the lens of my camera. After working years as a 2nd shooter wedding photographer, I learned that representing myself was the only way I could truly provide couples the care and attention to detail they deserve. And that's exactly what I have been doing ever since! If you are drawn to imagery that is unique, timeless, creative, and true, I would be honored to document your story!

What sets me apart is my love for people. The respect & recommendations I've gained from past clients is something I take great pride in. My work is rooted in patience, reliability, trust, and fun! I focus on how moments feel- leaning on my artistic instincts behind the lens, while treating each shoot as if it were my own. Michael is top notch!! Great service in a special day that is full of nerves for everyone. Especially my wife. He helped in very way. Showed up early to capture the venue before people arrived and stayed late to help with the clean up. If I could give him higher than a 10 I would. Hire him!!! He knows what he is doing. Highly recommended!!!

We are so grateful to have found Mike. He stepped in when our originally booked photographer was no longer able to shoot our wedding, and from the very first conversation he made me feel completely secure and confident that we were in great hands. Mike jumped right in seamlessly and was a calm, professional but fun presence throughout the day. Communication was amazing before, during, and after the wedding, which made the entire experience feel easy and stress-free. We would absolutely recommend Mike without hesitation and would gladly work with him again.

Michael was tremendously attentive to all the details we reviewed with him. We discussed some details we really wanted him to capture such as speeches, and us getting ready and he did a fantastic job balancing time between bride/bridesmaids and groom/groomsmen. He was able to get flattering angles, and was able to produce a short video for us of all the best moments, along with a longer wedding video we watch every year on our anniversary. We highly recommend him, and appreciated his attention to detail.

When my (now) husband and I were booking vendors for our wedding, we had no idea where to start looking for a photographer. I decided to let Zola recommend some vendors and we ended up booking with So Behold This, who works very closely with Michael at Michael Francis Films. Michael was our photographer the day of our wedding and everything was great! He is super fun to work with, professional and his work is fantastic.
