I had the pleasure of working with Hope Lodge Venue recently as a wedding photographer and I can say they are a fantastic choice . Their communication style is incredibly responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic - they go above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of. Great quality of work for a the value ; the venue is open, clean, bright, and airy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a wedding or big event . One memorable example was when the staff dressed up along with the Gatsby-themed wedding, truly immersing themselves in the couple's vision. My only suggestion would be for them to potentially expand their parking area in the future, but overall, Hope Lodge Venue is an excellent option for couples seeking a beautiful, well-managed wedding venue and one they could decorate and make their own.

Wright’s Mill Farm has weddings down! Between they’re prompt response for any questions we might have had, the upfront pricing, the guidebook, we were left feeling like we could tackle this wedding with no issues! But the real reason for that is the people! Bri is amazing, there isn’t anyone else I could imagine to trust to run the show like she did! Curt always had an answer for any question we came up with, Krissy was amazing, she paid special attention to my elderly grandparents, and they have been raving about her since the wedding! Mark was who we planned the music with, and the meetings we had with him were clear and concise and amazing to nail that all down, but when it came to the night of, we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ, Patrick was fantastic! The best! He knew how to get the crowd out on the floor and keep them there! It was a prefect night, the husband and I can’t thank Wright’s Mill enough for all their attention to detail, passion for the industry, being so kind and being an integral part of a wedding that went so smoothly, and will be remembered for a lifetime!

We had our wedding on 6/22/2024 at Angel & Anchor Farm with 125 guests. It was absolutely the best day ever thanks to the venue owners, Bill and Nicole. The venue is absolutely stunning. There are so many spots on the farm for your ceremony, for photos, etc. The farm was in full bloom in June as well. The bridal and groomsmen suite were also stunning, and offered a beautiful and cozy space for everyone to get ready in the morning. Bill and Nicole are also incredible. They truly did everything possible to make our wedding day so special. We didn't have to worry about a single thing, they were on it. From making adjusting for weather, setting up our beautiful reception tent, to attending the fire and more, they made our day absolutely flawless. If anything went wrong, my husband and I didn't know about it because Bill and Nicole just took care of it. We absolutely loved our wedding day and our guests kept saying the same. The farm is sprawling and offers so much space for guests to walk around and mingle. Everyone truly had an amazing time. Couldn't recommend the venue enough.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! We wanted a venue with history, beautiful views, affordable, and only had one wedding a day -- and we got it! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and beautiful architecture. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the bartenders were so thoughtful. One brought in mint from her garden, as mojitos were my favorite drink! While there were a few moments of uncertainty and lack of communication in the planning process, it didn't take away from the magic of the day. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and gorgeous views. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was! Inside, the reception area was equally impressive, with plenty of room for dancing and celebrating. The food was absolutely delicious, and they offered a variety of options that everyone loved. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the decor to the service. Overall, our experience at this venue was nothing short of magical. We feel so lucky to have chosen this place to start our new chapter together. Highly recommend it to any couple looking for the perfect and affordable wedding venue!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Pets can join the celebration
  • Combines timeless elegance with history

Venue considerations

  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • No on-premises lodging options
I honestly forget if I already wrote a review for The Lace Factory, but recently I was reflecting on our wedding day and a few things stuck out that had me so thankful we held our reception at The Lace Factory. From the beginning of the planning process the team is extremely clear and communicative. I love a checklist and theirs is one that ensures nothing will be forgotten. Our guests are still sharing how gorgeous the venue was, how incredible the food spread was, and one detail I was surprised by, from my cousin who has been to their fair share of large celebrations. "The food was not only delicious, but they managed to serve such a large group and the food was actually hot!" This speaks to the well-oiled machine that is The Lace Factory and it must be emphasized that this machine has heart. They accomplished another feat of having my family and I not worry about the severe allergy of my dad, as they adjusted the menu accordingly, without us having to miss out on all the options. This carried over to assist some guests who also had specific dietary needs. I realize this sounds boring, but it is wonderful to know your guests are safe and fed and focus on the celebrating! The Lace Factory is a venue that can transform your wedding into something beyond your dreams while holding true to your vision.

Saint Clements Castle provided a beautiful venue and kind staff for our wedding day. We especially appreciated our sales coordinator, Alyssa, who was professional, fast, and clear in her communication throughout the planning process. When rain forced us to move the ceremony indoors, the team quickly adapted the art gallery for us. The servers and bridal attendants were also attentive and went above and beyond to help finish set up when our florist left early. Our guests had incredibly kind things to say about the servers, and overall we had a great experience. It was also lovely to have a place that was a one stop shop for event planning! We did lose some decor in the shuffle which was an inconvenience, and some of the instructions for set up I left were not followed (our confetti got lost, only four guests got packets, the bridal suites did not have the supplies we left for them). My husband’s family were also really upset with one of the managers on property who wouldn’t allow them to walk in a covered area and was a bit rude about it, despite an event not happening and the rain being a torrential downpour causing unsafe conditions for his elderly family to walk in. Overall we had a great experience, and would recommend the castle to anyone planning a wedding!

We got married at the Haley Mansion on September 12th, and it was truly everything I’ve ever dreamed of. From the very first time my husband and I toured the venue, I just knew it was the place we were meant to get married. The property is absolutely stunning — so peaceful, elegant, and beautifully maintained. The mansion itself is breathtaking, and the view over the water made it feel like something out of a fairytale. We had the absolute best experience working with Joe, Zac, and Sue. They made our day beyond perfect! I mainly worked with Joe throughout the planning process, and he was amazing. He was always so easy to reach, quick to respond, and answered every single one of my questions (and there were a lot!). Joe went over every detail with us to make sure everything was perfect — and it truly was. He made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable, and I always felt heard and cared for. He also made sure everything on the day of the wedding was perfect. From the decorations, to checking on me to see how I was doing, to fluffing my dress before walking down the aisle, he didn’t miss a thing and it didn’t go unnoticed. I truly can’t thank him enough for the care and attention he put into our special day.  Zac was incredible too! He planned our rehearsal dinner, which turned out beautifully, and on the wedding day, he was there from beginning to end making sure everything ran smoothly. Thanks to Zac and Joe, every detail was flawless — not a single thing out of place. We even had an ice cream bar (which was a huge hit!), and Zac was the one serving ice cream to guests with the biggest smile. He went above and beyond, and we are so grateful for him. Sue, our officiant, made our ceremony so special and personal. She took the time to get to know us and really understood what we wanted. She added such a meaningful touch to our ceremony and made it feel like “us.” We also had the sweetest server, Kendra, who took such great care of us all night. She made sure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. And oh my gosh — the food!! I can’t even begin to describe how good it was. We got so many compliments from our guests. Everything from the cocktail hour to the entrées was incredible. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the baked stuffed sole — both were to die for! Honestly, it was the best wedding food I’ve ever had. We also decided to have an after-party at Rock21, and it was the best decision! The food was delicious, the DJ kept everyone dancing, and our guests had an absolute blast. It was the perfect ending to the best day of our lives. From the very first meeting to the last dance, everything was perfect. The entire team at Haley Mansion put so much love, care, and attention into our day, and it truly showed. I can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day everything we’ve ever dreamed of and more.

I have loved coming to the Essex Steam Train & Riverboat museum since I was a child so when my husband and I got engaged, we knew we had to get married here. It was such a magical venue and was reasonably priced. They truly don't try to nickel-and-dime you like a lot of other wedding venues, they just want you to have a good experience. The bridal suite was a beautifully decorated air-conditioned train car. We also decided to add on a roundtrip steam train ride down to the CT river and a steamboat cruise as our cocktail hour (honestly didn't cost as much as you'd think...). Our reception was inside the hall and was perfectly air-conditioned and decorated. We did a buffet option and the food was good! If you decide to get married outside, just remember that it IS an active train yard so make sure your officiant has a microphone. Meredith and Tyler were very easy to work with while planning the event. I highly recommend getting married here. Oh, and your photos will look INSANE.

I recently had my wedding at The Loom, and I truly cannot express enough how incredible the entire experience was. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make everything seamless, beautiful, and truly unforgettable. As someone with absolutely no prior experience planning a wedding—and very little time to pull everything together—I was overwhelmed at the thought of how it would all come together. But the team at The Loom made the entire process so much easier than I ever imagined. From the moment I started planning, Mary was there every step of the way. She was kind, patient, and incredibly supportive, always making sure I felt comfortable and confident in each decision. Her warm and calming presence made a world of difference during such a hectic time. Mary really took the time to understand my vision and helped bring it to life with such grace and attention to detail. She’s was absolutely incredible! Bri was also wonderful,—together with Mary, they formed a dream team when it came to coordinating the venue, the guests, and all the logistics that come with hosting a wedding. They both handled the rehearsal ceremony and every little detail with such professionalism and care. It was clear they truly wanted everything to be perfect, and it was. The venue itself is beautiful. The Loom has such a beautiful aesthetic and an incredible ambiance that made the perfect backdrop for our day. My family commented on how beautiful the space was and how smoothly everything ran. Despite the short timeline and my complete lack of wedding knowledge, The Loom helped me pull off a day that was exactly what I had hoped for—intimate, joyful, and stress-free. I’m so grateful to Mary, Bri, and the entire team for making my wedding so special. If you’re considering The Loom for your event, don’t hesitate. They’re simply amazing.

We were married 11/16/2024 here and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Nancy and Donna were fantastic to work with and answered any questions we had right away. On the day of the wedding Donna was extremely helpful. We truly felt that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good day; they checked in on my husband and I during pictures multiple times to ensure we were able to enjoy the appetizers we had selected. We got so many compliments about the food and the aesthetic of the venue. If you are concerned about food allergies, rest assured that you are in good hands with this kitchen. Anything we needed they covered right away. Our easel was missing a screw and they were kind enough to let us borrow one! We truly felt very taken care of. They were extremely patient and understanding with any decisions we had trouble making or any time we were disorganized. The wedding coordinator that they recommended to us was AWESOME to work with as well. I loved the bridal suite. We had so much space and the decor was beautiful. It reminded me of my grandmother’s house which made me feel even more comfortable. I highly recommend getting the apple cider mimosas and snacks they offer while you’re getting ready there! Absolutely kept everyone happy in the morning. Our photos and portraits that were taken both inside and outside are simply gorgeous; I can’t say enough about how good they came out. The way the lighting comes in is a photographer’s dream. The entire layout of the venue makes for excellent photos. This venue is also very affordable compared to every other space we looked at. It felt like it was made for us to get married in and we cannot wait to return there for dinner on our anniversaries. Thank you so much to the Salem cross inn for being a part of the happiest day of our lives!

This family-owned and operated venue exceeded every expectation and delivered a level of care, sincerity, and expertise that left us speechless. We hosted both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding at the Galilee Beach Club, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Honestly, we didn’t even know we wanted a beach club wedding when we started planning—we just knew we wanted Narragansett beach vibes. As soon as we saw this venue, we knew it was the perfect fit. The food was incredible. From the very start, the tasting event gave us such a fun preview, and it only got better on the actual wedding weekend. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! We also decided to book our florals through the venue, and that was such a smart choice—the arrangements were stunning and perfectly matched the vibe we wanted, all without the stress of juggling another vendor. A huge shoutout goes to Emily, who was with us every step of the way. She answered countless questions, kept in touch with multiple email check-ins, and made sure every detail was thought of. On the wedding day itself, she was a total rockstar—calm, attentive, and making sure everything ran seamlessly. Even when a light drizzle came through, she and the team handled it effortlessly and kept the energy high. The rest of the staff was equally amazing. Everyone was so professional, kind, and genuinely fun to be around—it made the whole weekend feel so comfortable and celebratory. And of course, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. We had about 100 guests, and having our ceremony right on the beach was the perfect mix of relaxed and romantic. The setting made for such a special backdrop, and it felt like the true Narragansett beach wedding we always envisioned (even before we realized we wanted a beach club!). We are beyond grateful we chose the Galilee Beach Club. From planning to the final sendoff, the entire experience was flawless. If you’re dreaming of a wedding with amazing food, incredible staff, and the most gorgeous beach setting, this is the place.

Our country band was hired by Sarah at Zola for a series of musical performances during the summer of 2020. All communications were clear and concise. Payment for services was fair and prompt. As this was during the Covid pandemic, we had multiple conversations regarding the safety of both the performers and the guests and all of our concerns were taken very seriously. The venue had a few hiccups, but overall we had a lovely reception there. The outdoor space was the highlight - truly gorgeous for photos. Communication on coordination was a bit spotty at times, but the maître d', Sergio, was a god send and stepped in to ensure things flowed smoothly. The food was phenomenal, as well! So many of our guests shared it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. We did have both our bridal attendants provided by the venue disappear on us shortly after we arrived, which was inconvenient since we would have paid for our own attendants if we knew that would be the case. While parts of the indoor space is dated, it worked out beautifully with some creative decor. When weighing everything in, the Woodwinds was a spectacular venue!
