Joanna is a writer, performer, and experienced officiant who marries couples of all backgrounds within 100 miles of Washington, DC. Raised in a multi-faith home and having lived abroad, she loves weaving cultural and religious traditions into ceremonies. (Don't worry, they're still mostly secular and feminist!) Joanna had an elopement, a formal wedding, and a separate reception—so she truly gets it! She’s ordained through AMM and ULC, trained in the Business of Officiating, and is a member of IAPWO. Jeremy is licensed to officiate weddings in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC, and serves a limited number of weddings each year to ensure each ceremony receives the time and care it deserves.

Rabbi Lia Bass is an innovative Jewish leader who believes that Judaism is a spiritual way to respond to the joys and sorrows of being human. She knows that to engage fully with our tradition, creativity and a listening heart are key ingredients.
