He will bend over backwards for you to try to fullfill your requests. On actual event days, there is an onsite venue coordinator overseeing the venue and is periodcically checking in with the event coordinator. In the times I have worked there, it's been pleasant and organized. There is a very detailed checklist leading up to your event to be sure all is covered and addressed. Highly recommended venue.

Huron Substation was the most incredible venue for our wedding in April. We absolutely loved it, and so did all of our guests. From the first tour we took, we knew it was the location for us... it has beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces - and it is visually stunning in a rich, interesting, unique way. We love how the current owners and staff have worked to restore the building and honor its history - and in doing so, the history of LA. Dave is a wonderful site and event coordinator, and he was so communicative, responsive, and helpful! Everyone connected to Huron is clearly committed to the community and conservation, and the playhouse is awesome, too!

The warehouse vibe and mix of large indoor and outdoor spaces allowed us to get really creative with our plans. The way the sun hits is truly magnificent and makes for amazing photos, but is even better in person. Also, working with Monica was a joy. She’s extremely helpful and responsive, and was keen on helping in all the specifics of our wedding. Union Station

4.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Up to 500 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $11,500

A Los Angeles Icon from 1939, Union Station offers unique spaces to host your corporate/social events, weddings, and more. This iconic Los Angeles landmark is a vibrant symbol of downtown’s renaissance. A dynamic destination for the arts, entertainment and culture, forging a vital new connection to the community, Union Station is more than a bustling transportation hub in the heart of the city. It's a true cultural hub connecting the infinitely varied and wonderful elements of one of the world’s great cities... a gateway to the best of Los Angeles.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Historic touches
  • Classic elegance
  • Accommodates more than 200 guests

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
When we first saw Union Station listed on here, we actually thought it was a scam post but as it turns out - YES you can actually get married in Union Station, with several different venue options costing varying amounts. We chose the Fred Harvey room for our wedding, which was easily the most complimented part of our day. It's such an amazing, historic space, and all the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Now the cons: there are a few required inclusions (security team, valet service, fire marshal checks) that you have to acquire through them - and those costs add up quickly from the price of the actual space rental. The valet company in particular was an insanely high initial quote, but fortunately they did negotiate a drop. Because it's not a dedicated wedding venue, they also don't provide any guidance with vendors (which means you bring everything in yourself), and because it's a protected space, there are a lot of regulations on what can and can't be done (as of Summer 2025, you basically can't use the kitchen for any actual cooking). Even with the drawbacks, we'd probably still do it all over again. It was an exceptionally cool, beautiful experience, and it turned out some AMAZING photos, just make sure you ask a lot of questions up front!

St. Anthony Croatian Catholic Church was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration. From the very beginning, their communication was wonderful - they were responsive, accommodating, and made the planning process easy. The quality of their work and overall value was amazing. The church itself is very pretty, with beautiful stained glass that created a stunning backdrop for our outdoor reception dinner on the patio. We asked them to keep the lights on inside so the glass would be illuminated at night, and it looked breathtaking. Many of our guests said it was the most lovely wedding they had ever attended. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our special day. The guests really appreciated not needing to drive anywhere after the ceremony. Also, the bride and groom photoshoot was at the Bradbury building and just on the sidewalk outside the church. Very pretty for wedding photo backdrops.

Dana, Clare, and Anika have been amazing from start to finish. When touring at venues to see which one we wanted to have our wedding at, Millwick hands down felt like home that even other Marvimon venues did not compare to this one which gave my husband and I the instant feeling. The price is solid for the amount of space and venue offering that you get. The fact that it comes with tables and chairs and a lot of furniture, a onsite kitchen, Site Managers, the best support you can get, some in house DJ offerings, and a bunch of other stuff. The Marvimon staff is top notch. They jump straight into helping you in any way they can and they do the most stellar job. We loved that they were so down to earth, understanding, and patient with us. They made us feel right at home. The great thing about Millwick is you do not need to dress up the venue much with all the greenery, its the perfect vibe you need for an intimate wedding celebration, it was definitely vibes for sure! There are so many amazing features about Millwick that I can go on and on but one thing that is a must is if you book Millwick you can hot iron brand press and mark your memory at the outdoor bar and it will be there forever! We did that during our design meeting with Clare and our wedding coordinator and it was so much fun, that on our wedding day our guests got to see it when they were waiting for their drinks, even our dog took a picture with it! Another unique thing is that they have a magnet wall for the seating chart and we used that to make polarid magnets of all our guests which was a huge hit! You can customize the image you want displayed on the projector or play videos, photos, etc. as well! Millwick allows your vision and creativity to come to life and the sky is the limit. Whatever you are envisioning, share it with Clare, Dana, and your wedding coordinator and they will be there to support you every step of the way and give you great tips! Their preferred vendors are seriously the best ever!! Majority of mine were from their list and they really made my wedding exceed all of my expectations, my husband and I both had one of the best night of our life because of Millwick, the Marvimon team, and all our amazing vendors who made our vision come to life to a whole another level of perfection!! Thank you Millwick!! We can't wait to visit you again!

For clients looking for a space to enjoy the weekend at home and a space that you can HOST an event too, THIS is the place! Sany on the Hill is stunning. As a vendor, communicating with both the client and the host was seamless. We were able to host our clients 30th birthday here with as many as 50 guests on property comfortably. The hosts were clear about any parking instructions and drop off locations so it helped us immensely when needing to navigate any vendors and guests. The host also let us know that it can be a steep slope coming up so we too were prepared here with any cars or vendors. We had an onsite caterer who set up with a grill top outside on the backyard and licensed bartender on site. I truly look forward to recommending more clients and friends to this beautiful estate and encourage anyone to consider it for their next weekend getaway, shoot, or event. The hosts are so kind so don’t hesitate to communicate your plans with them and they’ll assist you along the way! Can’t wait to be back here again real soon!

After a number of visits to potential wedding venues that just didn't feel right, my wife and I felt like a miracle had happened when we found Seventh Place. Seventh Place is a venue where you can truly execute your own vision, whatever it may be, while the space still brings a quality and characteristic that feels so unique to wedding venues. Having moved to Los Angeles from New York City, my wife and I were hoping to bring a bit of that Brooklyn energy to our wedding day, and the lovely brick interior and beautiful courtyard here absolutely helped deliver that. The space (and staff) was so flexible that it was easy to achieve exactly what we imagined for the big day, and our point person Lorraine was extremely helpful and communicative in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. The interior is beautiful, with enough space for us to host 150 guests at large family-style tables (the wooden tables Seventh Place has are very very nice), and still have more than enough room for dancing and a cozy and comfy lounge area. Besides being the perfect setting for our ceremony, we hosted the dessert table and some more seating and cocktail tables outside in the courtyard, which has a lot of greenery all around and plenty of shade, making it easy to forget you are in DTLA. The hedge wall outside on the street also served as a great backdrop for our family photos (we put down some turf on the street). We are both so thrilled with how our wedding turned out, and the setting was a major factor in the success of the day. Seventh Place was an exceptional (and very well-priced!) venue with a wonderful team who made the process very easy for us. They also host a great preferred vendor open house which was a big help in wrapping our heads around the wedding planning process, and seeing the space in action! We can happily and confidently recommend Seventh Place as a venue for your big events!

There are truly not enough words to describe how incredible Marvimon was as a wedding venue.
We had the wedding of our literal dreams — an all day affair that took place in both Valentine and Grass Room.

Dana (Event Director) deserves every award there is in the wedding/event category. We opted out of a wedding planner because we were pretty confident in putting it together ourselves but of course there was A LOT to figure out and hurdles faced along the way. But thanks to Dana and Marvimon’s phenomenal team, the end result was truly magical. Between the organization, attention to detail, genuine care, and the list of unbelievable, pre-approved vendors (including a BIPOC, women-owned, and queer specific list which is where we primarily sourced everything) we didn’t realize that we not only got the venue of our dreams but the support it came with was extremely valuable. Not to mention the beautiful furniture, foliage and overall interior aesthetic that was there which removed any need for renting additional pieces. Weddings are exciting but everyone who has planned or is in the middle of planning one knows they are massively stressful. That said, the Marvimon team (ESPECIALLY DANA) didn’t have us worried at all. They were one of the biggest reasons we were at ease and confident things were going to run smoothly which I’m happy to report they did with flying rainbow colors! 100/10 CANNOT recommend enough!
(We are already thinking about our vow renewal party at one of their other venue spaces - true story)

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding ceremony at Redbird in the Cardinal's Quarters, and we cannot recommend it enough! From start to finish, the experience was flawless — and so much of that is thanks to Simone, who was incredibly responsive and thoughtful and made the entire process feel effortless. The Cardinal's Quarters itself is absolutely stunning. The intimate setting, with its chic and romantic ambiance, created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. There are so many positive things that I’d like to share about the La Cañada Thursday Club! I first toured the venue about 2 years ago and fell in love the moment I saw the courtyard. The beautiful big trees, the way the bright pink bougainvillea plants draped around the entrance gates, and the fountain with the beautiful teal Spanish tiles.. it was everything I could want and more! The garden out front is the perfect area to take photos with its shady green trees. My absolute favorite detail are the beautiful deep teal doors! Another perfect area for photos. The ballroom is equally beautiful! While the space does hold up to 130 people, it’s the perfect place for an intimate celebration and I loved that there was a tearoom area for our Photo Booth and dessert/coffee area. We absolutely loved our wedding! We loved working with Ani. You can truly tell that she enjoys doing what she does because she showed us so much care during the planning process, she always made us laugh, always checked in to ask how we were doing/feeling. She was professional and showed great attention to detail, made sure to answer any question we had and most importantly made sure we were happy! She worked well with our wedding coordinator and vendors and worked alongside Jose (venue maintenance worker). Ani even left us the sweetest message on our audio guest book (After the Tone). I’m so happy to have her voice recorded in our messages, she helped make our day so special and I will always thank her. Everything flowed so seamlessly! I also have to give praise to Jose, who does the maintenance and help around the venue. The day before our wedding we were able to access the venue to set up, drop off items, and Jose was there helping our family, answering questions. Even the day of the wedding Jose was there to step in and help and would check in our our guests as well! Our guests raved on how beautiful the venue and how helpful the staff was. We truly feel so blessed to have been able to celebrate our special day at the La Cañada Thursday Club. I wish I could relive our wedding day all over again, you could just feel the presence of so much love in the room. Thank you so much to Ani & Jose for making our wedding so beautiful and special!

The Majestic Downtown

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Up to 550 guests

The Majestic Downtown is unlike any other wedding venue in Los Angeles. The magic is in the history of the arched windows, in the curve of the marble pillars, in the intricacy of the hand-painted ceiling. We are the venue for the couples who notice the details and want something utterly timeless and one-of-a-kind. We recognize that everyone has different visions of their big day, which is why we are one of the few venues that allows you to bring in all of your own vendors. While we have an excellent in-house caterer, their services are an option, not a requirement. Even the crystals that cascade from the chandeliers are removable, so that we may transition from rustic to glamorous in the span of a couple of hours. The complete freedom to make your vision a reality is what makes us unique.

Why you'll love this venue

The Majestic was a DREAM to work with, we also used Ashton as our coordinator and she was a GOD SEND. Our guests still talk about our wedding and how smoothly everything went, and that was hands down thanks to Ashton and her team. They were all super easy to work with, very communicative, overall an amazing experience!
