About this venue
Nestled in a beautiful residential neighborhood of Los Angeles, Occidental boasts beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that for over 100 years have served as a backdrop to weddings, birthday parties, reunions, company dinners, and many other celebrations. We offer an all-inclusive catering service and a selection of delectable dishes prepared by Oxy's own nationally ranked chefs. Occidental's striking architecture, cream-colored archways, the roses, the trees and beautiful fountains create a picturesque backdrop for your special day.

Gresham Dining Hall
Classic elegance, beautiful architecture, romantic atmosphere.
Creamy walls, high, open-beamed ceilings, tall arched windows, oak tables, and chairs create a setting that is warm and welcoming. This dining hall is available for College and private catered events on select Saturdays only, after 4 p.m. Branca Patio is recommended to be booked together with Gresham to create and indoor/outdoor space. Special price for Gresham and Branca patio booked together

Lofty yet intimate, the magnificent high ceiling with multiple stained glass windows welcomes people of all faiths. The chapel is bright, airy and air-conditioned.

Beautiful private courtyard
Cannon Plaza at Occidental College Once the College’s original swimming pool, Cannon Plaza is now a sunken courtyard offering an intimate, self-contained setting for weddings. Surrounded by historic architecture and greenery, it provides a timeless backdrop for ceremonies and receptions. Its versatile design transforms easily—romantic by day, glowing with lights by night—making it a truly one-of-a-kind place to say “I do.”

An attractive fountain enhances the beautiful architecture of this arcaded courtyard. There are plenty of shady areas and wonderful photographic opportunities. Capacity: This site accommodates 80 guests for a seated meal and 150 for a stand-up reception.

AMAZING
My husband and I recently got married at Occidental College in the Branca Patio/Gresham Hall. It was everything I wanted and more. Marcus and team were amazing and this also was one of the most inexpensive venues in Los Angeles.
