“Truly a remarkable experience from start to finish, they operate with such excellence! We have been using Off the Vine Dining for a couple years now. They have done intimate events with us, and some of our larger company events with hundreds of people. Brian has always been extremely helpful curating menus with me, all of the menu offerings are so fantastic that I have always had a problem selecting items. He goes above and beyond with taking in account all of our dietary restrictions that some of our guests have, he has even customized and created some menu items for us. I was so touched at one of our events when Brian overheard one of our guests say they didn't do dairy, and was able to make some small adjustments so that the guest could still enjoy every dish. That's above and beyond! Brian and his team always do a beautiful, professional, and efficient job setting up, serving, and cleaning up. The decor is stunning, they have fresh flowers and everything is presented so wonderfully. “We could not have been happier with the service we received from Buckboard as the catering provider for our wedding. Right from the initial meeting Ashley, (Buckboard’s sales manager) gave us a personalized introduction and very friendly tasting. It was clear from this initial interaction that she cared more about our experience and less about just becoming one of their customers. The food was/is absolutely delicious. Every single item was cooked perfectly, and it was clear from the initial tasting that their chefs and cooks take genuine pride in cooking high quality meals that do not come off as “mass produced” like a number of other caterers in the area. We have lost count of the number of guests who told us during and after the meal that it was by far the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, and this is reflective of the company as a whole. Ashley and JP (the Chief Operating Officer) were both present during the planning process, and worked with us directly to determine a menu that would be both wonderful for the guests as well as within our budget. When dietary restrictions were presented, Ashley and her team made the accommodations easy and care free, and provided options that were also delicious. She and her staff were so friendly and professional on the day-of that a number of guests went out of their way to comment on the crew. We cannot rave enough about the services we received from Buckboard Catering. To make matters better they also operate a full-time restaurant in El Cajon, which we plan on frequenting regularly when visiting San Diego. “My husband and I decided on a micro wedding with 25 guests. As people who love great food and memorable dining experiences, we knew the food and beverage had to be the highlight of our day. It took us a while to find the right vendor, and we couldn’t be happier that we went with Parish Events! We originally hired them for catering and bar services, but ended up using their planning services too and I’m so glad we did. From our very first inquiry, we were met with such a warm, thoughtful response and plenty of information about their fully custom menus and process. We hopped on a Zoom call, instantly felt comfortable, and decided to move forward. Both our dinner and cocktail menus were completely custom. We even had tastings for both before locking anything in. The dinner tasting alone was a 12-course experience that genuinely rivaled meals we’ve had at Michelin-starred restaurants. It was incredible. At first, we planned to handle the rest of the details ourselves, but we ran into some issues with rentals and other vendors. I reached out to Parish Events for advice, and not only were they happy to help, it became really clear they were far better equipped to take this on.
