I met Hayley and Enea (Te Dua Weddings) at my venues Wedding Fair. Right away, I loved their personalities, and once I seen the passion they had for their work. I knew I wanted to work with them for my wedding. My husband felt the same way, it was just a good connection. They were very easy to work with, and communication was great. They also took our Engagement photos. Hayley and Enea are such a great team. The way they work with each other to make sure they take the perfect shot. Avery Wong Photography
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
San Bruno, CA
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,700

I can tell you how I started shooting photos since I was a young wee lad, but that's what everyone else says and also it's not true. I didn't even pick up a camera until I was in high school. I'm the type of person who ignores convention and does it differently, my own way. Seldom the "right" way, but always the "Wong" way. My passion for creativity and my adeptness of the tech and the technical is what allows me to weave my craft and to produce art for my couples.

When my now husband and I were looking for a photographer, we made a tier list. After lots of weeding out of mediocre photographers, we narrowed our selections down to two. We resolved to contact the last two to see which one we wanted to go with. From the minute I first met Avery on zoom, I knew that I wanted to work with him. Not only are his photos phenomenal and extremely cinematic, they are somehow able to tell a story in the photo. I felt moved looking at some of his albums and I wondered how he was able to do that. When we actually got to working with him on our wedding day, I understood his process: He actually knows how to pose a model and gives clear instructions on where to put your hand, when to tilt head down, where to look, etc. This is what I was specifically looking for, as I've had some photographers who were just 'okay' that snapped away but gave no direction as to what to do. I think this is the mark of an excellent photographer and one who has clearly done many weddings. My butt looks great in all the photos. :) Also, I feel like I would qualify as a quirky bride, and he totally embraced that and took photos of my multiple plushies. That's a 100 in my book.

Thalia Moshtagh Photography
Rating: 5.0 (28 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,200
  • Serves San Bruno, CA

Hello! I’m so excited for the chance to work with you. I’m a former teacher who has always had a passion for photography. I started working freelance in 2015 and did a lot of my first jobs in the music industry. I shot Warped Tour a few times and even had one of my promos featured by AP magazine. I quickly realized I loved working with couples the most, and now focus on couple and family portraits and weddings!

Awarded Best of Zola
From our very first meeting over Zoom with Thalia, I knew we’d made the right choice. Her chipper, upbeat, and lighthearted personality made us feel at ease immediately. We had the pleasure of working with Thalia for our engagement photos, our wedding, and my sister’s wedding. Each time, she was a master at combining carefully curated poses with beautifully captured candids that embodied the spirit of the event and of the couples at the center. Thalia skillfully posed us in ways that photographed beautifully and didn’t feel awkward in the moment—my husband and I were laughing and enjoying ourselves the entire time. Thalia has a true gift for composition and what initially drew me to her was the moodier vibe of the photography style. With that said, she knows when to play it up and when to tone it down and allow the natural vibrancy of the moment take center stage. In every opportunity, Thalia delivered a stunning variety of photos within her advertised timeframe. Her prices are extremely fair for the work she delivers, and my family and I immediately ordered multiple prints and albums from her very user-friendly website. I can’t recommend Thalia highly enough—if you’re looking for a photographer to take your special event to the next level and create memories to last a lifetime, you’ll be ecstatic you chose Thalia.

Hi, I am Andy, a wedding and San Francisco City Hall photographer based in the Bay Area. I photograph couples who want their day to feel relaxed and unforced, while still looking polished and elegant in photos. I quietly document the real in between moments and then step in with gentle direction when you need it, so you never feel stiff or posed. From intimate City Hall ceremonies to full day weddings, I help you plan a simple timeline, find beautiful light, and make the most of every location. I personally edit each image with a clean, true to life style so your photos feel timeless and still like you many years from now.

We are so happy we chose Andy for our City Hall wedding. From the first message he was easy to talk to, clear about pricing and timing, and helped us understand how everything at City Hall works. On the day he arrived early, found great spots with good light, and gave us just enough direction so we did not feel stiff or awkward. At the same time he stayed very calm and kind, which really helped with nerves. When we received the gallery, the photos felt like us: natural, flattering, and not over edited. Our families keep saying how beautiful the pictures are. We would absolutely hire Andy again and recommend him to anyone looking for a relaxed, professional photographer.

My name is Trung, the head honcho at this eponymously named company. My name is pronounced “Troon”, which sounds like spoon, so ignore those other letters that make life complicated. I've been a photographer for close to 10 years, photographing things big and small, far and wide. It's pretty incredible how impactful and valuable a split second image of a given time, place, person, or object can mean to a person. Whether it's a photograph of someone you love or a place you'd love to be, photographs spark memories or inspire the pursuit of new ones and that's why I love it.

Trung went above and beyond as our wedding photographer! His photography is not only STUNNING and really captures the emotions of the moment, but he was incredibly organized, fun, and highly adept at problem solving. We wanted some shots by the ocean, but the wind made it a little difficult. Trung was calm in problem solving and his humor also helped make everything feel more relaxed. We can't express enough the difference he made in getting the shots we wanted, but also navigating everything so well! We are so happy to have gotten to work with him and highly recommend Trung!

Storytelling that's crafted with care - Timeless. Classic. true-to-life. My approach to photography is rooted in storytelling. Of course, I'll provide guidance when needed, but my goal is never to pull you out of the experience—it's to preserve it.

Sarah Fischback Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the start, Sarah was professional, attentive, kind and extremely organized. The moments you remember most aren’t usually the ones that were planned. My approach is documentary-driven and unhurried, focused on connection, movement, and the quiet in-between moments that tend to mean the most later. I work best with couples who value presence over perfection and want images that feel honest, intimate, and timeless. Whether your day is big or small, traditional or unconventional, my goal is to create space for you to be fully yourselves — and to tell your story as it naturally unfolds.

Sharyce is without a doubt one of the best humans to have part of your wedding day. She is calm and collected and gets her stuff done with ease. We are so lucky to have found her and shared our day with her. Our photos are beautiful and they’re only just the sneak peaks so far! My wife and I are so excited to sit together in a few months from now and reminisce on all of the lifelong memories Sharyce captured for us

I cannot recommend Emily enough! We found her a few months out from the wedding and did a call to talk about our budget and our vision for our wedding. Emily was so accommodating, shaping a photography and videography package that fit us perfectly! On our wedding day she was incredibly hard working and well prepared. She makes everyone she meets feel comfortable, confident and beautiful in their pictures! On top of honoring our "shot list" and getting all of my top priorities taken care of, Emily scoped out the venue and came up with fun locations and ideas that we hadn't considered! She also played with traditional photography, shooting on film, and polaroids all of which gave us unique looks that we love! Hello there! I'm a storyteller and a destination photographer. My style is a blend of photojournalism and creativity. I'm always chasing to capture the perfect moment. Moment + Composition + Lighting. Capturing your wedding day unposed.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Ryan photograph our San Francisco City Hall elopement. From the beginning, he was easy to communicate with, professional, and made us feel completely comfortable. Ryan gave just enough direction while still letting everything feel relaxed and genuine. One of the things we loved most was that he shot both film and digital. The digital photos are stunning, but there is something so special about the film images. They have a timeless, romantic quality that perfectly captured the feeling of the day. They’re all soo beautiful. Looking through our gallery, we’re amazed by how many moments he caught that we didn’t even realize were happening.. These are photos we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives, and we’re so grateful Ryan was part of such an important day. We would recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful, heartfelt wedding photography.

HEY! I'm Sean, a Bay Area native who is pretty darn handy with a camera. My full-time photography journey began after losing my job in Art Education and STEM due to the pandemic. That's when I decided to bet on myself to pursue my passion for photography as my primary career. What excites me most as a photographer are the opportunities to meet new people and collaborate with them to create incredible art. I think great photographs requires a strong interpersonal bond with the photographer and the subject and that's why wedding photography is especially fulfilling because it requires so much trust, confidence and relationship building.

Awarded Best of Zola
Sean has been one of the best photographers to work with. Our paths crossed for the first time this year while we worked a wedding together. The wedding was big & chaotic but Sean was extremely polite and easy to work with.He was also a real gentlemen and was very respectful regarding my time with the bride. The bridal party enjoyed his company along with the other 3 vendors we shared space with. His easy going personality was calming and his professionalism never went unnoticed. Mr Wash also went out of his way to share the gallery from that day. He made me feel very appreciated, it was an honor to be thought of even weeks after the event. I hope to work with Mr Wash again in the near future. His calm kind personality paired with his talent makes him a prime pick for any client or vendor.

It was great having Jenni photograph our wedding. As a fellow queer, there was a level of comfort and understanding that was nice to not have to think about. And she sure knows her way with a camera. We had her dealing with unfavorable lighting (noon sun under leafy trees) and difficult angles (hills) and she gave us some beautiful pictures. She has a good eye and is a quick thinker. She speaks up about what she needs and will do what needs to be done to serve her client. And the editing was done quickly!

Hi, I’m Yana — the photographer behind The Y.K. Studio. With a background in fine art and documentary photography, I bring an intentional, editorial eye to your celebration day, balancing artistic composition with raw, honest storytelling. I will gently guide you in a way that feels authentic, allowing you to interact naturally and have the most joyful photographic experience. Based in Pacifica but available all around the Bay Area and beyond.

We cannot recommend Yana enough. We are so thrilled with the photos we received and just overall experience. Feel free to read more of the nitty gritty below, but TL;DR: we would give her way more than 5/5 stars if we could. :) The Experience: Yana was so warm, communicative, and organized from the start. She quickly replied to my request for an engagement photoshoot and had a very organized/simple process for getting started. She helped us select the right location and also gave tons of tips/guidance on picking out some outfits, as well as some fun pose ideas! We were a bit nervous going into the shoot as we didn't want it to feel super rigid/awkward with very forced/posed shots, but that couldn't be farther from our experience; it felt like we were on a fun, playful date with someone there just capturing the moments. The Photos: Insane. Stunning. We can't get over them. As a hobbyist photographer myself, I'm honestly amazed by her obvious talent and artistic vision/style. Even her gallery delivery (the order/layout/design of the delivered photos) was clearly intentional and aesthetic. There are SO. MANY. great photos that we're honestly having a hard time picking which to use for wedding materials- which is an amazing problem to have!! I truly feel like she captured our love and spirit in these.

She's really friendly, gave great pose suggestions and made helpful adjustments, and knocked out a ton of beautiful shots in a short amount of time. Paris was also really patient with our families and good at gathering together/rallying everyone. She also understood the lighting of the space really well and timed certain shots accordingly (my husband says her photos are like art, I agree!) — and gave a quick turnaround on photos. Super talented; I hope we'll get to work with her again!

Hi! I’m Kristen a portrait & Wedding photographer based in the Bay Area. I am married to my favorite person since March 28, 2015. But we have been together for 15 years!! I love love to laugh and I love making people laugh, which is why I love photography so much! I love spontaneous trips to anywhere new and love any movie with Rachel McAdams.

Kristen is the best. From the start, when I first reached out to her about an engagement session and shooting for our wedding she was a pleasure to interact with and very responsive. I appreciated that she was upfront with her pricing and clear about what was included with each package. This was definitely not something I saw when reaching out with other photographers. We booked with her and had our engagement session with my now husbands two kids and our new dog, to say it was chaotic was an understatement but she was so nice and accommodating about it all. She made friends with my husband and made both of us feel very comfortable in a situation that isn’t so natural for us. Fast forward to our wedding, by this time we felt like we were friends with Kristen and her husband. They were an absolute delight! It’s 2 weeks after our wedding, we are in LOVE with our sneak peaks and we just had dinner with friends that were at the wedding and they had the best compliment for Kristen and her husband. They said they were amazing, the best photographers make you feel like they aren’t even there but still capture all of the important moments, and that is exactly what they did! The last thing I will mention is that I have had experiences with photographers that can be pretty intense and a little over the top which was something that never made me feel very comfortable. Kristen was the perfect balance between being approachable but also making sure we got all the shots that we needed. We will absolutely be working with her for all of our photography needs in the future!
