I'm Jenni, a nonbinary lesbian planning my OWN wedding - so I know firsthand how important it is to have inclusive vendors who hype you up and support you 100%. I'm not just "inclusive", I'm literally queer! I specialize in proposal/engagement sessions and elopements/small weddings (<65 guests) in the SF Bay Area. If you're looking for a gallery of colorful "looks like it felt to be there" photos so you can relive your big day for the rest of your life, I'm your girl! Plus, I'm happy to work with wedding planners and vendors to make your vision a reality.

I'll be your master of ceremonies - I can fluff dresses and do hair/makeup touch-ups as needed, wrangle that one aunt we all know is going to get a *little* too tipsy, and guide you seamlessly throughout your day. I offer wardrobe guidance and location ideas for couples sessions, custom timelines, and I handle all the little details so that you can sit back and enjoy every second of your day together. I strike the perfect balance between stunning classic photos and journalistic shots to capture all the in-between glances and special moments.

    Most wonderful photographer

    We absolutely loved working with Jenni for our engagement photos! She made the entire experience so much fun. Both of us felt so comfortable and like we were given so much to work with. They are amazing with communication! The planning process was great, Jenni was super helpful with choosing a location and working with the weather that was there that day. We can’t wait to work with them again!

    Jenni "Got" Us!

    After striking out with a lot of other photographers in the Bay Area to take some wedding-themed family pictures, I was so glad to stumble on Jenni. I knew from her website that she would "get" our wacky, funny, emotional family. She worked with us via Zoom and was so flexible and helpful when deciding on locations. On the day of our shoot, we had a great time. She helped us all relax and enjoy ourselves and each other. The finished product turned out wonderful, and I know we'll cherish these pictures forever!

    Queer photographer for queer wedding

    It was great having Jenni photograph our wedding. As a fellow queer, there was a level of comfort and understanding that was nice to not have to think about. And she sure knows her way with a camera. We had her dealing with unfavorable lighting (noon sun under leafy trees) and difficult angles (hills) and she gave us some beautiful pictures. She has a good eye and is a quick thinker. She speaks up about what she needs and will do what needs to be done to serve her client. And the editing was done quickly!

    Jenni was a hit at our wedding!

Yes! I have several photographer friends (all incredible, by the way), who second shoot for me. You can add a second shooter as an a la carte option to what ever photography package you choose. I highly recommend it - it's a fabulous way to ensure you get multiple angles of important moments and any simultaneous events (like getting ready separately) can be evenly covered. I'll do all the editing.
Typically, couples will reach out between 4-8 months before their wedding. If it's high season (May-October) the farther out the better, but if it's November-April there's more of a chance I'll still have availability with a shorter time before your big day.
Definitely! All the photos in your gallery will be edited for color, brightness, sharpness, etc. I also include retouching (acne, teeth whitening) for no extra charge. I don't deliver raw (unedited) files. That way, you'll be sure to look your best in every single one!
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. I'll definitely take some iPhone video though, to make a kickass behind-the-scenes reel for Instagram! In my more luxury packages, you'll also receive a downloadable slideshow of your best photos set to music.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3-4 weeks after your wedding. However, I always do a sneak peek gallery with a handful of my top favorites within the first week so you can start sharing your photos with family and friends!
That depends on how many hours of coverage there are in the package you choose! On average, a typical wedding package would have around 250-350 photos delivered. However, I don't guarantee minimums because so many factors go into how many photos there are!
In my 8 years of experience as a photographer, I’ve never cancelled a wedding or elopement booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your big day, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I can also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement!
