The Revel Room is a local coffee shop venue in NE Minneapolis featuring exposed brick walls, wooden floors, and natural plants. It blends historical charm with a cozy stylish ambiance, perfect for petite events. The space comes set up as-is with tables and chairs for seating up to 70 guests and rentals are self-managed. Couples are frequently attracted to our open catering policy, the ability to manage our in-house sound system, our elegant and effortless decor, and the casual flexibility of our rentals. We are devoted to creating authentic, timeless celebrations that personally reflect our clients. Our commitment to creating memorable experiences began with restoring the simple beauty of the 1905 building and extends to providing exceptional food and beverage services. The Jerome features original modern industrial design, including reclaimed timber beams, exposed brick walls, soaring ceilings, restored hardwood floors, and original black tin tile. Dramatic light fixtures and white drapery room dividers compliment the natural light that shines through the large windows, creating a comfortable, open atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Goodtree Farmstead is an elegant and rustic Minnesota farm event and wedding venue in Northfield, just a short drive from the Twin Cities. Located in rural Northfield, we are a few minutes outside of the quaint downtown area, but also a 15 minute drive from Lakeville or 40 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis or Saint Paul. We are a 14 acre former dairy farm nestled in a wooded area surrounded by green farmland and our very own pond and wandering creek. Our red barn--built in 1897 with soaring ceilings and stunning pegged beams, and the other farm out-buildings have all the charm you need to make your farm wedding or special event dreams come true.

We have many amazing options for your ceremony site. There are beautiful locations in the apple trees or around one of our ponds. Our 100+-year-old barn is a classic red and white hip roof barn. The Hollywood Theater is an iconic Art Deco landmark in Northeast Minneapolis. When it opened in 1936, the theater was described as “the incomparable showcase of the Northwest’’. After years of decline, the theater closed in 1987 and was purchased by the city of Minneapolis. Twenty-five years of inaction and neglect followed until 2014 when the National Park Service recognized the building’s historical significance and listed it on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2015 the theater was sold to Northeast-resident and entrepreneur Andrew Volna, who saved the building and restored its original Art Deco splendor. Today it is ready to host your event.

The park was originally named Douglas Triangle for the street on which it is located. The name was officially changed to Mt. Curve Triangles (plural), on November 4, 1925, when the previous Mt. Curve Triangle was renamed Fremont Triangle. The park was officially named in honor of Thomas Lowry in 1984. Lowry is best known for developing the street railway system in Minneapolis. The Lowry Hill neighborhood, in which the park is located, was named because he owned most of the land and built his imposing mansion on the hill.

The Phelps, or “Turtle”, Fountain is the centerpiece of the Lyndale Park Annual-Perennial Garden. It was moved here from its former downtown site in Minneapolis’ Gateway Park.
