Constructive Feedback The only area for improvement is email response time. Before booking, I sometimes waited anxiously for replies to my questions near the quote deadline. After booking and connecting with my day-of artists, communication was smooth and timely. Bridal Trial During my trial, KaSen accommodated time for two different hair styles because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I told Kong I’d never liked my makeup done by anyone else before, and she completely blew me away with her work. The trial was fun, and at the end I felt beautiful while still looking like myself. My hair and makeup after the trial lasted over 10 hours (and through a nap) with only minor touch-ups. My artists encouraged me to take notes after and welcomed feedback, which was very helpful on the big day. Wedding Day! On my wedding day, Kong and KaSen came prepared with my trial photos to reference. Kong told me I took really good notes, which made it easy for her to tweak my look exactly how I wanted. As my beauty prep was wrapping up and the ceremony drew near, KaSen noticed my nerves and took a moment to reassure me -- I really appreciated her kindness. My lipstick wore off quickly, which I expected & failed to prepare for -- I had planned to get the same lipstick Kong used for touchups throughout the day but failed to do (wish I would've! I recommend this tip for other brides). My eye makeup lasted through all the tears without any issues. Even though I knew my down hairstyle would eventually get knotty, I felt like Rapunzel & my half-up hair stayed full all day. I lost a few pieces of tinsel throughout the day but not a single bobby pin. Kong & KaSen's attention to detail and care made all the difference in making me feel confident & beautiful on my wedding day. Our artists for the wedding day were Jamie A (head stylist), Christine O, and Danielle S. Primped was responsive to all communications, sent quotes for services in a timely manner, and kept me informed about any changes. They were also proactive about asking follow-up questions whenever something needed clarification. I did a bridal hair and makeup trial with Jamie A several weeks before my wedding. She asked me to send inspiration photos for my wedding look, and despite the influx of AI-generated content on Pinterest these days, we were able to capture the essence of what I wanted. It was nice to meet her in person before the wedding, and I appreciated the opportunity to give feedback on my look and share how it held up throughout the day. She took detailed notes on what to adjust for the wedding day. I was initially apprehensive about doing a hair and makeup trial, but I’m so glad I did—if you can afford it, I highly recommend it. On the day of the wedding, the entire team arrived at the Van Dusen Mansion 15 minutes early to set up and spent four hours with us. Everyone was happy with their hair and makeup, and the artists provided minor touch-ups toward the end of their time to ensure we were photo-ready. I loved everyone’s final look. I was especially concerned about my elderly mother-in-law, who has short hair and a very particular way she prefers it styled, including a blowout. Jamie was incredibly accommodating and executed it perfectly. This meant a lot to me because I wanted her to be fully included in the getting-ready process. She looked stunning. “Jacqueline was amazing. For the pricing in the area I would say that this was actually very fair and the price that I paid was less than the quality I got. My bridesmaids, my mother-in-law and I looked amazing. We got the make up service for my wedding and she was so fun to talk to and having the bridal suite. My experience at Jacqueline was phenomenal and I could not recommend her and her team enough. All of my bridesmaids and mother-in-law and myself really enjoyed her and her team’s company.”

“I hired Astrid for my wedding makeup, and of all the vendors involved in planning a wedding, she was one of the easiest and best decisions I made. I had my makeup professionally done several times before my wedding, and while those artists all did beautiful work, Astrid really raised the bar. She's incredibly meticulous, from skincare prep to the final touch, and every step feels intentional. She really makes you feel like a work of art. For my wedding, I wanted a full-glam look that still felt sparkly and fairy-like, and Astrid absolutely nailed it. Her skills are also very versatile. “Andrea was an absolutely incredible makeup artist for my wedding. We had a beautiful winter day and we had A LOT of gals to get ready and Andrea was on top of everything. From the communication, to the trial, timelines, answering questions, giving recommendations & making sure every girl left her chair feeling their absolutely best, she was perfect! I have never looked better, and you'll see some incredible photos attached, as well. You can see that from the time I was finished getting my makeup done to portraits, indoor photos, outdoor photos, and beyond, my makeup stayed perfect. As someone who does basic makeup most days (a little concealer, mascara & eyebrows), I did not feel overdone, but absolutely felt like an elevated version of myself. I would 100% recommend Andrea to anyone that wants a makeup artist with the utmost professionalism as well as humor, and someone that makes you feel so comfortable!
