Hello! My name is Ashley. I am a professional Minneapolis makeup artist with over eight years of experience. I worked for MAC cosmetics for almost 4 years and that is where I grew as a professional makeup artist. After working for MAC, soaking up all the trainings, learning from the best of the best and doing makeup on many clients, I knew I had what it took to venture off and start my own business. So, I did it afraid: In 2018 I started my own freelance makeup business-Ashley Larae MUA LLC. I couldn’t have done it without my faith in God.
My mission is to make you feel beautiful from the inside out, to enhance the beauty that you already have and to give you a confidence that turns heads as soon as you walk into any room. I can’t wait to connect with you!

Ashley was amazing
I knew I picked right with Ashely after our bridal make up trial where is she was able to see the reference photos as me about my skin type my biggest worries or to explain the ways I'd like to feel while wearing make up. On the day of the wedding, she was there, bright and early got set up quickly and got to work doing a total of six faces, and still keeping us within our timeline. Everyone was very pleased with their make up and look absolutely beautiful. Ashely was able to work with different skin types, color and ages within our bridal group and made every single one of them look amazing.
Wedding Makeup
Ashely did an amazing job for my wedding on myself and all of my girls! I got so many compliments. She was on time, very professional and really listened to everyone’s requests. It rained all day and through the rain, sweat and tears my makeup did not move all night ! I was very impressed! Highly recommend!
Flawless wedding makeup and great experience
I couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist on my wedding day! Ashley was great to work with—fun, professional, and incredibly talented. I knew so by her portfolio, and then she proved it in my bridal trial appointment, leaving me excited for the final day! She found the perfect match for my skin tone and made me look flawless. The touch up kit was perfect to use right before walking down the aisle after pictures were done. Ashley’s attention to detail and expertise is unmatched. I felt beautiful and confident the entire day. Everyone in my wedding party was so happy with their makeup, and appreciated that Ashley chatted with them on their wants and concerns to individualize her plan that worked best for each person. I highly recommend Ashley to any bride!

11/10! I don’t even know where to begin - Ashley was phenomenal!! She made me, my MOHs and my mom feel so hot! She truly knows how to work the brushes and enhance your beauty rather than making you look completely different. I had changed what I wanted since the makeup trial and she was able to execute the changes the day of! I fell asleep in my wedding makeup and woke up the next day for brunch and the makeup was STILL intact. I did very minor touch ups and went out with it LOL! But seriously, I felt flawless and it stayed that way all night even through the sweaty dancing. My mom is also quite picky with makeup but she LOVED her look and that says a lot coming from my mama!
