MAKEUP ARTIST ONLY Hello! My name is Ashley. I am a professional Minneapolis makeup artist with over eight years of experience. I worked for MAC cosmetics for almost 4 years and that is where I grew as a professional makeup artist. After working for MAC, soaking up all the trainings, learning from the best of the best and doing makeup on many clients, I knew I had what it took to venture off and start my own business. So, I did it afraid: In 2018 I started my own freelance makeup business-Ashley Larae MUA LLC. I couldn’t have done it without my faith in God.
My mission is to make you feel beautiful from the inside out, to enhance the beauty that you already have and to give you a confidence that turns heads as soon as you walk into any room. I can’t wait to connect with you!

Trave for assistant is not included. $1 per mile roundtrip. There needs to be an assistant if there is 6 or more including bride (max number with assistant is 10 including bride). The max number of clients I can accommodate on my own is 5.

Elevated Natural Wedding Makeup
Ashley Larae MUA was the perfect beauty professional for our wedding day. Her communication style was efficient, concise, and blunt, which I really appreciated as it resulted in the wedding makeup of my dreams. The quality of her work was flawless and detailed, resulting in an elevated natural look that made me feel confident on my wedding day. We had such a fun makeup trial making the wedding day like seeing a friend I have known for years. I'm so grateful to Ashley for her incredible talent and for helping to make me feel my absolute best on our special day.

Ashley is truly THE makeup artist you want for your wedding day. From the moment we met at the trial, she was so warm, genuine, and down to earth. I honestly felt like I was catching up with an old bestie!!! She took the time to listen to what I envisioned, offered helpful suggestions, and made the whole experience feel effortless. On the day of the wedding we decided to tweak a couple of things and she executed them all with perfection. My wedding day was the hottest day of the year and still my makeup stayed flawless from morning to night! Ashley worked calmly and professionally while bringing such a fun and calming energy to the morning. If you are looking for someone who is so insanely talented, kind, and makes you feel like the best version of yourself, Ashley is your girl!!!

On the day of, Ashley's calm and warm energy was a welcome respite during the hustle and bustle of the morning. The quality of their makeup artistry was gorgeous and sophisticated, and provided incredible value for the cost. My bridesmaids and I were all thrilled with our flawless looks that lasted all night long. Ashley is truly one of the best in the business and I would recommend their services to any couple planning their big day.

Ashley was so nice and pleasant to work with! She really went above and beyond on the day of and helped me with time management. She made my face absolutely BEAUTIFUL. My MOH wasn’t going to get her make up but after seeing my trial photos she got hers done too. Not to mention it looked even better wedding day. Everyone looked flawless, Ashley hit the mark with everyone regardless or skin tone or age. Work aside, she is very kind and easy to talk to. Very quick and fast communication via text. I would book her again in a heartbeat.
