It’s not unusual to find me spending hours editing and creating after a photoshoot. I have the rare opportunity in life to do what I love and create images that people will cherish for generations to come! Photojournalism and documentary wedding photography is my favorite style and the majority of images I capture fall into this category. My passion for photography and weddings began when I was very young. I staged Barbie weddings, making their dresses from Kleenex, then snuck Mom’s camera to take pictures of them. I moved on to dressing up my little sister in a pillowcase veil, again sneaking Mom’s camera. When she got tired of me using up all her film, she brought home several Bride magazines from the free pile at the library and I spent hours reading them, then pinning pages of beautiful wedding dresses on the ceiling of my bedroom. When “The Wedding Planner” came out in 2001, my fate was sealed

I live for capturing the magic moments of your wedding day-- from the first look to the first dance, and all the laughter and tears in between. My favorite part about being a photographer is capturing all the memories! watching a family grow throughout sessions, seeing a groom cry happy tears, and watching your little one smash their birthday cake! That is what I am here to capture! Outside of photography, I have a full-time job as a transportation representative and I'm married to my wonderful husband, Austin. I'm also a mother of two sweet boys and three crazy dogs! Other than spending time with friends and family, in my free time I love to be outside, binge watch Netflix shows, bake, and eat lots of chocolate!
