From the moment we first met Cindy and Bob, the owners of The Pavilion at Mimosa Lake, we knew we had found the perfect venue for our wedding. Their communication was fast, clear, and transparent, and they were incredibly personable throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt perfect for our special day. Cindy took so much time to sit with us and talk through every detail, even the little things we hadn't thought of! On the day of the wedding, Cindy and Bob kept everything moving seamlessly, ensuring our day was stress-free! We loved getting to know them and felt like we were in great hands from start to finish! We won a giveaway for this venue and had no idea what to expect- but the owner, Logan, walked us through everything and helped deliver a wedding we will never forget! Logan is very helpful and communicative. The venue is rustic, charming, and quaint in all the best ways. The views are breathtaking- especially at golden hour! The arches and covered spaces are easy to make your own with decor and provide the perfect backdrop. The get ready space and parking is not ideal, but they have come such a long way in a short amount of time and continuing to make improvements every day as a brand new venue! I’d definitely recommend Bentwood Farms for your wedding.

At the end of June 2025, my daughter held her wedding reception at Historic Jasmine. (We had purchased the Weekend Destination package, so my daughter and MANY of her friends enjoyed overnights at Historic Jasmine on Friday and Saturday with the main event held on Saturday.) If I could rate Historic Jasmine with 100 stars I would! From Day One of inquiring about Historic Jasmine, its manager, Ashton, was absolutely FANTASTIC! He remained that way throughout the ENTIRETY of the process as well as AFTERWARDS! Ashton's replies were ALWAYS incredibly prompt and thorough. He picked up on "implied tasks" and provided responses to those as well. He provided input to questions I asked that had nothing to do with Historic Jasmine but with weddings and receptions in general. He spent plenty of time with my daughter and me working out the details. He was ALWAYS willing to help and he always did! Ashton is the face of this family-run business. His fine character and stellar attitude epitomized that of his mom, dad, and brother who work so diligently behind the scenes, most often without notice. I am not exaggerating when I say, "The entire family is AMAZING, truly amazing!" (When I met the dad and brother, I felt as if I were speaking with Ashton! :)) Without doubt, Historic Jasmine reflects this family's time, effort, and attention to create a PHENOMENAL venue! It is a STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL place, outside and inside! GORGEOUS, VIBRANT landscaping surrounded by woods outside - historical and nostalgic decor inside mixed with modern conveniences (to include abundant bathrooms) - are at the ready to warmly welcome guests. Our caterer - Edwards Catering - was thrilled to learn we had contracted with Historic Jasmine. He has catered there for more than 15 years and greatly appreciates its setup for his services. Speaking of food, I am reminded that my daughter and her friends were pleasantly surprised to find coffee and breakfast items awaiting them in the kitchen in the morning - we did not know such was part of the weekend package so they were thrilled to discover such! I could go on and on about our positive experiences with Historic Jasmine! I will summarize by saying, in my opinion, having checked out a plethora of venues, Historic Jasmine was and is THE ABSOLUTE BEST VENUE! Without question, it is a reflection of the family who runs it, also THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

My husband and I cannot say enough about The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing! From the first tour back in August 2024 until our wedding in November 2025, they were absolutely fantastic. We worked with Bonnie initially, but Alli was our official day of coordinator. The price is worth it for everything you get - venue, staff, food, bar, setup, and so much more. Alli and her staff were amazing every step of the way, and they truly made our wedding day as special, easy, and memorable it could be. The photos I am attaching are from Ivy and Lace Photo!
