About this venue

Events Remembered Va in Newport News, VA includes an event hall, chapel, and social area. Book your special wedding day at our beautiful event facility. Our wedding package is $2600. for the day and includes all the following areas: decorated social area, decorated chapel, event hall, lounge, kitchen, bar area, & dressing rooms. If the wedding chapel isn't needed, our event hall can be booked by the hour ($140. 3hr minimum booking) or the day ($1500.). There is a $100 janitorial fee added to daily and hourly contracts. Our facility seats up to 100 and comes with free use of easels, backdrop, round tables, white chavari chairs, cake stage w/table & uplights, dj stage w/table, facade, & uplights, head stage w/table, 2 thrones, uplights, & backdrop. Dressing rooms can be added to hourly and daily packages.

    Beautiful Banquet Room!!!

    The upgrades to the Event Central banquet room are spectacular! The room is so beautiful! Whether your event is a party, a baby shower, or a wedding reception, you cannot go wrong with this venue. The owners have really put their hearts and souls into making this a wonderful place to host your events. I would definitely recommend coming in for a tour.

    A Perfect Place for everything!

    There's really no other place like Event Central. This is a venue for events as well as your connection to everything that you need for your event, including party supply rentals, DJ, Photographer, and more! I would highly recommend using them for your next event. From a small meeting, to a beautiful wedding, you'll be happy that you used Event Central. Now you know about the areas Best Kept Secret. This is a secret to share!


Fill out the contract on this website. Fill in blanks, initial, and sign where indicated. Our system will provide a quote shortly after submittal. When you receive the quote, there will be 2 grey areas to initial and a field to sign, just click inside the grey box. You will receive a confirmation email. Event is considered booked once 1st payment is made. You will receive a confirmation email. If you need help please call 757-873-1244. Or office hours vary based on our bookings, but phones are answered M-Sat 10a-4p.

Yes, Events Remembered Va allows outside vendors, but the vendors at Events Remembered Va may give better pricing than outside vendors and Events remembered Va's vendors are familiar with our facility.
35% of the total due in cash or card (additional 3% for card use).
2 weeks prior to event date along with final guest count.
A walk thru is done with an Events Remembered Va representative 15 minutes prior to your contract time to ensure what your responsibilities are during and at the end of the event. At the end of the event, you will be required to take out all items brought into the facility, including trash. Unless you have added the optional table and chair set up & teardown, you will also need to return the tables and chairs to the positions they were received in.
$140. an hour will be charged and due at that time, 11pm at the latest.
You will be required to cleanup all items brought into the facility, pickup all trash in all rooms and take to dumpster, stack chairs, and roll tables. There is a required $100. janitorial fee for the building, which goes to sanitize all rooms after you and your guests, such as mopping, wiping tables, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
Yes. Events Remembered Va provides two areas for dressing with a private bathroom on the second floor. A janitorial fee of $50. is required.
Times are noted on your contract according to your request. The latest is DJ must quit by 11 pm, event breakdown 11pm -12midnight, and lockup is no later than 12 midnight.
Yes. We will check availability for the new date. If the new date is not available, no refunds will be issued. A credit will be issued for future use at Events Remembered Va as defined in our contract. If within 45 days of the original event date, payments would be forfeited. Please be sure to read our cancellation policy in its entirety.

Yes. please call our office to Schedule a tour. If you are able to tour on a Thurs at 530p, or the first Sat of each month at 9am our website will allow you to book online. Tours may be rescheduled during inclimate weather.

Events Remembered Va stays booked all year around. Every month is our peak season. We do offer a discounted rate Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday events.

Yes. You will contact the ABC office for their procedure. This information is also in our contract. Liquor license must be in the contract holders name and list Events Remembered Va as the venue. The liquor license will need to be posted by the bar at Events Remembered Va during your event. You will need to provide your own bartender.

No, it is not required, but we do suggest getting day of event insurance. The cost of fixing and/or replacing any damaged property by your attendees or yourself is your responsibility and due the day of the event. The responsible person on ​the contract is responsible for any damages to Events Remembered Va property, any injury to guests, and any intoxicated guests.
