“I first met Rob at my best friends wedding when he was their photographer. His energy was the best and he made us all laugh and have such a good time. When it was my turn to get married, I thought about how important your photographer was. Not just for their experience and skills of capturing moments but who they were as a person because frankly, you spend a good portion of your wedding day with that person. My husband and I knew that Rob was the right person for that. When we went to our engagement photos, I remember both us feeling nervous because we had no idea what to do! Does anyone know how to pose for pictures?? But Rob showed up and made all the worries disappear. We had SO much fun during the entire shoot and we never once worried about how we looked. “Becca, and her second shooter Liz, were amazing to work with. From the start Becca was easy to talk to, and so helpful in the planning process; from her helpful planning videos you receive as a client, planned video calls, her detailed timeline, and photography form to fill out, she made the whole planning process so much easier. She also gave lots of great advice for the day, including the decision to do a first look ahead of the ceremony. I was hesitant at first as I wanted to do the real reveal at the church, but after talking with her we decided to do the first look. I’m so glad we did as Becca was right, it took a lot of pressure of the rest of the day and gave us time to really soak that moment in just the two of us. This also allowed us more time to enjoy other parts of our day like attending the entire cocktail hour! Looking forward to the day, I was worried that I was going to hate having to take so many photos and being in front of the camera and felt like it was going to feel like wasted time in the day. Now, I am so happy that I had Becca for this, my husband and I had so much fun interacting with the photographers. Becca gave great instructions and had lots of fun prompts/conversation pieces to help us loosen in front of the camera and to look more natural.
