“If you're looking for a photographer for engagement pictures, a wedding photographer, or a photographer for any other occasion - stop looking! My fiance and I were visiting friends in AZ shortly after our engagement and we booked Maggie for an engagement shoot at sunset while we were there. To say that we are are OBSESSED with our pictures is an understatement. Maggie was so knowledgeable about the lighting at that time of day and utilized the whole landscape to get great pictures with different backgrounds, not JUST different poses from us. We didn't stay in the same spot during the session as she continued to create new angles to adjust to as the sun continued to set. I felt comfortable asking "hey can we try this!?" and Maggie was more than willing to get excited with us about capturing the kind of picture we had in our mind. Maggie also gave us alot of direction on how to maybe tilt our head, or move a hand over a little bit, or recognized that the shot wasn't going to be great so she just scratched it and moved to the next idea. This was extra helpful to me because I didn't have to "guess how to model" and I appreciated that she made good use of her and our time. Maggie works quickly to get a variety of poses and landscapes, is willing to travel, and seems to genuinely love what she does.
