Blooms By Devin is a Sacramento-based floral design studio creating modern, artful florals for weddings and celebrations throughout Northern California. Blissful Rose Events & Floral
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Rancho Cordova, CA

I love what a wedding celebration represents. The joining of friends and family to celebrate Love. The celebration of a commitment to love, respect, and companionship is the best reason to celebrate. I started my career as an events coordinator in my college years in Santa Cruz, CA. Upon my return to Sacramento, I started a business venture with my friend. We started off slow and within a couple years we were decorating beautiful weddings and coordinating wedding days. While it got busier with business, life also got busier. My friend had a child and I returned to graduate school.

“I'm a planner, and I worked with Elena recently on a wedding. She was flexible, upbeat, and willing to work with us both on pricing (even over Valentine's Day weekend). She created beautiful arrangements for the ceremony and made the most stunning purse bouquet that matched our bride's vibe perfectly. She was also ready to pitch in if other vendors needed assistance. I'd work with Elena again in a heartbeat!”

“Erica was one of the most impressive vendors for our August wedding - she absolutely brought my vision to life and I am so thankful for her efforts! I loved my bridal bouquet so much that I insisted on bringing it up to Lake Tahoe with us on our honeymoon, and then I hung it to dry it once I got home. It gave me so much joy looking down at those beautiful flowers on the drive to Tahoe after the wedding. Erica was so patient and understanding throughout the whole process and made it so easy. She is a true artist and managed to get me exactly what I wanted for our wedding - in fact it was even better than I could have ever imagined! I recommend her 100%. Thank you so much Erica!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (104 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Rancho Cordova, CA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Our flowers turned out AMAZING with flower moxie! It was so fun to be able to spend the days before prepping the flowers with my family and friends, and they truly turned out so beautifully. Alexa and the customer service team went above and beyond to help in answering all my questions. I’m so grateful to have found them!”

Poppy Flowers
Rating: 4.5 (90 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,750
  • Serves Rancho Cordova, CA

Poppy is a full-service wedding florist with one mission: give every couple stunning floral design without the luxury-tier price tag. We design, source, and deliver your flowers from first consultation to final installation. As featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, The Today Show, Fortune, and Goop. Planning your wedding flowers should feel exciting, not overwhelming. If you've been gathering inspiration and wondering whether your budget can actually bring that vision to life — it can. That's exactly what we do.

Awarded Best of Zola
“One of the most important components to me for our wedding was the flowers. I chose Poppy Flowers because of the look I wanted for the ceremony and reception and with the lower minimum cost required compared to other florists. We went with a pastel theme given we had a spring wedding. I had countless complements on the centerpieces at the reception – they were gorgeous. They were the perfect match for elegant look I wanted. My bouquet and my husband’s boutonniere were also beautiful and what we were expecting. The website was a little glitchy for me in a couple of instances (the IT people had to address the issues) – hopefully they have all of those issues resolved now. Aside from those minor issues, we were very pleased with our decision to go with Poppy. Thank you for providing the gorgeous flowers for our day!”

Awarded Best of Zola
“The Faux Bouquets were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was quick and simple, and they were always responsive to any questions or requests we had. The quality of their work was truly high quality and gorgeous - the bouquets, boutonnières, and beautiful floral arrangements they created for our arch were stunning and exceeded our expectations. They worked closely with us to achieve the exact look and feel we wanted for our wedding florals. The Faux Bouquets are amazing and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for beautiful, top-notch floral pieces for their special day!”

“We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!”
