My passion for photography and weddings began when I was very young. I staged Barbie weddings, making their dresses from Kleenex, then snuck Mom’s camera to take pictures of them. During my time at The University of Iowa, I immersed myself in the world of art, majoring in Studio Art. While I loved exploring these various mediums, I found myself torn between them, unable to decide on a single career path. One night, a brilliant idea struck me: I didn't have to choose.
