We had a wedding at a private residence outside, so electrical needs were tricky. Spenser was thorough in what he needed supplied from us and we were able to get the right electrical needs for both his sound system and the two arcade tables we rented. He also was such a fun personality to have around and added so much to the party! We have so many great photos of everyone up and dancing due to his skill of keeping things fun! He did a great job following our timeline and was very helpful in adding to it as needed when we weren't sure how to schedule things such as first dance, cake cutting and parental dances. We had aunts and uncles that I've NEVER seen dance, out on the floor tearing it up!You would not regret hiring this company! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was also adaptable without judgement which is sometimes in short supply in the wedding industry but goes a long, long way in my book. For the wedding, we created playlists for the different sections of the wedding, and Kevin knew just how to make our vision come to life --playing the right songs at just the right time and helping the wedding flow seamlessly. He also helped curate the perfect mood for dancing with his light design, and his new Photo Booth add on gave our guests an endless source of enjoyment when they needed to catch their breath off the dance floor. (And even more enjoyment for us when we got to see all the pictures and gifs people took after the wedding!). He transitioned our ceremony music seamlessly and thoughtfully, and never failed to communicate with us throughout the day as the timeline changed. Inevitably, our timeline fell slightly behind, and Pat was flexible with his set to keep people dancing for the entirety of the shortened reception. He made sure all of our 'must-play' songs were played and ensured our 'do not play songs' were not. We loved his lighting setup and could not have asked for a better experience. “Okay brides just book them!!! I wish I could do 200 stars because that’s what they deserve. The amount of people who came up to us through out the night to comment on the music was the most rewarding feeling, because I completely agreed! The combination of live acoustic, with dj is so unique, stood out to everyone, and was worth every penny. The planning process with them was so easy, and they even put my mind at ease by just sharing their insights, while also listening to what we wanted. Joseph perform our first dance song live, which was my favorite part- it wasn’t your typical “slow” song, but we loved it anyways and he really executed it beautifully. We were all in awe of the whole experience. I ALMOST didn’t have them incorporate the live sing a long at the end, but after they described the vibe on our last call I changed my mind and let me say- I’m so glad they did it. One of my friends told me they felt like they were at a concert. We wish we could relive that night over and over again.
