Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. He got the crowd going, the dance floor was always packed and he invited the couple up to DJ booth which was so fun for them and also amazing for pictures. All of our guests are STILL talking about how great Joe was - he picked perfect songs that were a hit with our crowd across generations and included some of our all time favorites as well. We gave him a few do not plays and just a couple must plays, but he handled the rest perfectly!! Fine Tune Entertainment has an easy to use planning website, where we were able to edit our timeline and song choices throughout the process - this helped keep everything super organized. Joe was excellent at keeping the schedule moving with speeches, photos and dancing. We also used Fine Tune Entertainment's sister company for the photo booth which was incredibly high quality and a major HIT with our guests. They had the option to get digital copies or take home a printed one! We added 10 up lights to our space as well and Joe perfectly managed color changes to enhance the party vibe. Faced with the fact that we needed to find someone who would get (and keep) both of our dance-happy families on the dance floor, it was daunting to find the perfect fit for us and for the celebration to follow. We had to rely heavily on reviews to narrow down our search…but that only gets you so far when you want to feel the energy. In a leap of faith, we reached out to Denise. After that first meeting, we never looked back! It was easy to just spend time talking to Denise. She was our hype-lady from day one, working with our schedules from planning to the meticulous execution of the wedding day. She was patient with our indecisiveness on which instrumental version of our procession song we wanted (weeks of samples, back and forth, and for us to ultimately pick the first version she shared). “Justing was a fantastic DJ! We gave him a short list of must-plays then let him do the rest, and he was great at reading the room and playing what the people wanted. He took requests from guests if they fit the vibe and was totally okay saying no too which is exactly what we wanted. We even had some guests asking for his playlist before the night was over. He brought tons of speakers and lights, and even some wireless speakers to play the same music in multiple rooms, including outside on the deck for cocktail hour. Everything went off without a hitch. We also got the photo booth add-on which ended up getting a ton of use and people loved it. Sawyer was manning the booth and 5 stars to him as well!”

“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. “We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”
