“I was hesitant to book anyone for our wedding photography at first — it wasn’t personal, I just felt unsure and overwhelmed by the whole process. But John Barone completely changed that. He followed up thoughtfully over email and offered to set up a call. From the moment we started talking, I felt like I was catching up with an old friend. He was clearly the most capable person I had spoken to, and by the end of the call, I was completely sold on him and his team. I had my heart set on a documentary-style photographer, and I was especially drawn to Stuart’s work. I followed his portfolio online and was continually impressed with every post. Leading up to the wedding, John was more of a help than he probably realizes. He took the reins on scheduling the entire day — something that should’ve been in my wheelhouse (I’m a planner and a project manager by day), but somehow felt incredibly daunting. John made it easy and even encouraged me to book extra time with our venue. Thank god he did. Every bit of advice he gave was spot on, from how much time we needed for getting ready, to first look, to portraits. The guy knows what he’s doing — he’s a true professional and I only wish I listened to him sooner. On the day of, Stuart and Denida were top tier. They arrived right on time, were exceptionally kind, and made both me and my husband feel completely comfortable. They worked seamlessly and quietly, doing things behind the scenes that I didn’t even notice in the moment — because they never wanted me to stress. My family and friends were absolutely obsessed with both of them. They were not only professional, but also hilarious and engaging — somehow making noises I didn’t even know were humanly possible to get the attention of my 10-month-old twin nephews! I would book this team again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to everyone I know. There was truly nothing more they could have done to make our day more perfect — because they already did it all. When I received our photos from John, everything was communicated clearly and on time. I never once had to worry, and the results? Absolutely exceeded every expectation.
