I started shooting photos and video in Greece, and since moving to the US, I have dedicated myself to shooting weddings, elopements and engagements. I love being able to capture the love that my couples have for each other and the unique energy each couple has. I am always down to shoot in new locations and find the best place for my shoots!

Awarded Best of Zola
First off, planning a wedding isn’t for the faint of heart. We spoke with countless photographers, and for some reason or another, it didn’t feel right. That is, until we spoke with Hayley. Her professionalism and thoroughness really put our minds at ease. I had no idea what to expect when the photo’s came in, but she exceeded our expectations ten fold. She really captured the feeling’s and emotion surrounding our wedding. In addition to the perfect photo’s, our video was superb. The videographer created a video that brought my husband and I to tears. The music was perfect, the lighting was incredible, and the editing was by far the best I’ve seen. I couldn’t have crafted a better video in my mind. Thank you so much for making our memories come to life. We highly recommend this photographer and videographer!

Storytelling that's crafted with care - Timeless. Classic. true-to-life. My approach to photography is rooted in storytelling. While I absolutely love to capture the big, meaningful moments of the day, I'm equally drawn to the quiet in-between moments that often become the most treasured memories. My approach is designed to help you stay present with each other and your loved ones while I document your wedding day as it naturally unfolds. Of course, I'll provide guidance when needed, but my goal is never to pull you out of the experience—it's to preserve it.

Awarded Best of Zola
Sarah Fischback Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the start, Sarah was professional, attentive, kind and extremely organized. My sneak peak pictures are absolutely stunning - the photos are crisp, gorgeous and capture the natural beauty of our background as well as myself and my family in a beautiful way. Sarah had a detailed timeline for my entire day and although we got a bit off track, she did her best to get us back on schedule in a warm and kind way. At no point did I feel bombarded, as Sarah has a wonderful calmness, kindness and professionalism about her that allowed me and my wedding party to truly relax and enjoy the day. Sarah captured all the big and small moments, and I am thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Sarah Fischback Photography for any couple looking for an exceptional photography experience on their wedding day. Book her and her team and you will be able to truly enjoy! My family and all my guests were raving about her!! Thank you so much Sarah and team for all your support and incredible work!!!

Sarah was an absolute delight to work with. She was professional, patient, kind, thoughtful, and friendly during the entire process. She was communicating with me every step of the way, always answered my calls if I had a question, and even checked in after our wedding and after us receiving our photos to say hello and to wish us well. Loren Hansen Photography
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
Petaluma, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,500

Welcome. I’ve been a make-up artist, chocolatier, a barista, a pet-sitter, a bartender but I’ve always been “that girl with the camera.” (I’ve also been, “that girl who sleeps on our couch” or “that girl who’s booty I saw in the newspaper” but I digress…). Currently, I base my photography business in Petaluma, CA. I grew up in Sonoma County but in my early 20’s I picked up and moved to Manitoba and that’s where I stayed for many years. Upon my return to CA in 2013 I turned my passion for photography into a career. It’s been a journey to call photography my profession, but I’ve always been a photographer and I’ve always been an artist.

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot thank Loren Hasen enough for her outstanding work at our wedding! Loren was incredibly professional, fun, and personable. She seamlessly blended into the background, making it easy to be ourselves without even realizing she was there. The photos Loren took are absolutely stunning. She captured every special moment with skill and creativity, leaving us amazed at the fantastic shots she managed to get. Each photo truly reflects the joy and love of our special day. Loren, your work exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful for the beautiful memories you've given us. Thank you for being such an integral part of our wedding. We highly recommend you to anyone looking for a talented and delightful photographer!

Russ was an absolute dream to work with. Fun, friendly, great at sorting all the details beforehand and an absolute star on the day. The photos were stunning – we'd initially questioned whether we would even bother with a photographer, but after working with Russ, I can tell you, it is 200% worth it. Me and my husband have never looked so good in a photo in our lives (and likely never will again...). Russ perfectly balanced being a fly on the wall when it mattered (during the ceremony, etc), with giving us some much needed guidance for fun group shots and portraits. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Book him now!!

LOVE + WOLVES WEDDING CO

We are LOVE + WOLVES CO. An award-winning collective of bi-coastal creatives founded by US! Ash + Jake Murphy. We are cosmic companions and have been married for over a decade! We’ve been in your shoes and are here to guide and hold you however you need us. We specialize in photo, video, film, natural beauty, design, coordination, florals, DJ, officiation and photo booth. While you are welcome to shop for just one service, the beauty of working with one team across multiple services cannot be overstated. We are about being present in the moment and, above all, believe in ANYTHING for love. Your love stories truly matter to us.

Jake did both our engagement photo shoot and our wedding (along with Shannon on video). Starting with the engagement shoot, I was really nervous and he made us feel so at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. It helps that he is hilarious and insanely talented. The engagement shoot ended up being one of the best memories of the whole year for us. Fast forward to the wedding (80 people) - Jake was flexible, prompt, professional, and captured insanely gorgeous and diverse photos. His photography style highlights the beauty of little moments and never feels rehearsed or pre-planned. You don’t need a team of photographers for your wedding - you just need Jake.

Alexandrina Owens Photography

My biggest passions are aesthetics and human connection...so weddings are naturally my favorite thing to photograph. After hundreds of weddings, I still find myself tearing up (or maybe a little more than tearing up) at almost every wedding I photograph. People describe me as being sweet and my work as having a delicate, elegant, feminine, and refined quality to it. I believe in authentic romance and real love. My favorite weddings are outdoors, featuring sweeping coastal backdrops, soaring redwoods, rolling hills, or gorgeous vineyards mixed with tastefully stylish decor - and always with a lot of love.

I know you’re sitting there looking through a list of photographers & wondering which one should I choose?! I know how you feel! You’re trying to see which one will capture the most beautiful photos, which one will best fit your personality, will they be able to capture those candid memories, & of course, will they fit in my budget?

Holly was INCREDIBLE to work with!!! I cannot recommend her enough. Throughout our entire planning process she was so helpful, reliable and fast — not to mention she drove to do a walkthrough of our venue the month before our wedding! As someone with photography and photo editing experience I am super picky — Holly's work is so exceptional that I promise she will make you look and feel amazing in every picture. She was also just a joy to work with! We had so much fun taking photos together and I'm really grateful she was there to capture our day and celebrate with us. I would also recommend you get her beautiful wedding album — it is amazing and will certainly be a family heirloom. Thank you Holly!!!

Welcome. I’m a southern girl, born and raised. Years ago, I drove to CA for the first time on a whim and well, I just never left. I love to travel, explore, and meet new people. My tiny dog, Gravy, is usually by my side. If there's fun to be had or a laugh to be shared, I'm in! And if you call me last minute to join you on a crazy adventure, I will say yes. Most definitely yes.

Tammy did an absolutely wonderful job as our wedding photographer. She has a beautiful photography style, capturing the warmth and beauty of our redwood ceremony. And her candid shots truly captured the energy of our wedding. In person, she was lovely to work with, and did a great job helping put us at ease. She also graciously accommodated any particular photography requests we had on the day-of, and captured wonderful group photos during our wedding. We couldn't be more happy with Tammy and are so grateful for how wonderfully she captured our special day.

Alicia Parks is an award winning, published wedding photographer. She understands how significant your wedding day is and is dedicated to capturing every beautiful, authentic moment with exceptional professionalism and care. Her unparalleled passion for her work and attention to detail set her apart, ensuring that every image reflects the true essence of your love story. Alicia and her team ensure your experience is as flawless as your photos. She works from the heart, pouring love and dedication into every shot, to provide you with an unparalleled wedding photography experience.

Working alongside Alicia Parks Photography this summer was an absolute pleasure. Alicia is not only highly professional and prepared, but genuinely respectful to everyone involved in the event. That respect for fellow vendors is often overlooked, yet it plays a major role in how smoothly a wedding day unfolds. As a bride or client searching for vendors, this should honestly be a standard question to ask: How do you view and work with your peers? Most wedding professionals are meeting for the very first time on the wedding day, yet we’re expected to immediately function as a unified team. Alicia truly embodies this cooperative spirit. She approaches the day with collaboration and kindness, making communication seamless, transitions effortless, and the overall atmosphere calm and positive. That unity doesn’t stay behind the scenes—it carries through to the guests. Much like walking into a restaurant where the staff clearly enjoys working together, the experience simply feels better. I would gladly work with Alicia again and highly recommend her to couples who value not only beautiful photography, but a thoughtful, collaborative, and seamless wedding day experience.

I'm Amy, chief picture taker, head editor, dubious web designer, and volunteer animal hugger at Amy Little Photography. Work is always fun because I'm never far from snacks and never close to snakes. Taking pretty pictures is easy. But documenting the honest, emotionally raw, and laugh-out-loud, because you didn't know that happened pictures is where I really shine. Photographing hundreds of weddings has deepened my joy of authentic storytelling. It's also been a catalyst for my cake addiction so I hope you're cool with being an enabler.

When I was looking at photographer portfolios, what I paid attention to most was how they captured candids. Could the joy, love, and excitement of the days shine through? Literally no one could compete with Amy Little there! She has an incredible talent for capturing the sweet moments that make a wedding special. Then I talked to her, and we instantly vibed. She even made my fiance lighten up and feel comfortable -- a herculean task! On top of that, she made us look and feel stunning. She taught us two awkward penguins how to model and let our true selves show on film. I still don't know how she did it! And on the day of, she not only was solving problems like a boss, she turned her creative eye into some jawdroppingly beautiful creative pictures in the rain. She's a genius, and I couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out.

When we got married originally, we already had ideas of how we wanted our 10 year vow renewal to go. Fast forward to 10 years later (and several sessions with Meg already in the books), we knew we couldn't do this idea without her! When we first emailed Meg, she was already on board and so game to jump into the crazy idea of not only a sunrise photoshoot in the dessert but also a walking wedding on the Vegas strip and a club bus. Nothing seemed to phase her. When we got to planning, Meg was so helpful in keeping us keep on track and checking in with ideas or backup ideas. Once the vow renewal was said and done, Meg had all of our photos back to us in under a week (!!) and oh man, did she nail every single one! We can't even imagine picking just one favorite. Meg is the only photographer we could have imagined using and are still in awe that she choose to work with us on it! To this day, it feels like a fever dream of an event, and having Meg there to document it made it even more of a dream.

You don’t have to choose between meaningful portraits and actually spending time with your guests. I photograph weddings for couples who value being present with the people they love, while still making time for portraits together. With thoughtful pacing and smart use of natural light, there’s time for both. My approach blends joyful, editorial-style portraits with candid coverage, guided in a way that feels calm and unobtrusive. Outside of winter weddings, there’s usually more flexibility than couples expect, allowing space for portraits and time to enjoy cocktail hour, dinner, and the moments that matter most.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the very beginning, Kristen made us feel comfortable. She was able to take charge when it rained on our wedding day and delayed the ceremony by over an hour. I do not know what we would have done without her!! She kept everyone laughing and relaxed, and for that I cannot thank her enough. Even with the delay, she was able to finish the family pictures, our couples pics, and the wedding party AND still managed to get us to the reception ON TIME! She was absolutely incredible and even our wedding planner was so impressed by her! The pictures turned out to be everything we imagined and more and we cannot recommend her enough to our friends and family.

My love for photography sparked from a deeply personal place—watching my children grow up way too quickly and wanting to capture those fleeting moments before they slipped away. This journey turned into a passionate calling, and now, I look to bring a documentary and cinematic style to every session I have with my clients. As a quiet queer and a loud LGBTQIA+ advocate—everyone is welcome in front of my lens. My priority is creating a safe space for my clients where they feel they can express themselves freely so I can capture the uniqueness that makes them - them.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Aubrey Lorraine for our micro wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience or the photos. Aubrey was incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. She was so easy to work with and naturally made you comfortable through the whole shoot, making the process so much fun! Her talent behind the camera is undeniable. We've received so many compliments from friends and family on how stunning and thoughtful our photos are. She captured every moment with such artistry and attention to detail; she has a real gift. Aubrey also went above and beyond with her turnaround time. She provided sneak peeks within 48 hours (which we were so excited to share!) and delivered the full gallery much earlier than promised. We were blown away by how quickly she worked, and how many photos she provided. If you're looking for an incredibly skilled photographer who is a joy to be around on your special day, I can’t recommend Aubrey enough. She made our intimate ceremony feel just as special and beautifully documented as any big event. We’ll cherish these photos forever.

I’m a wine country native and learned the photographic arts from my family. My early travels and studies in the art & humanities opened my horizons to culture and diversity, plus I'm of mixed ethnicity. I really enjoy photographing weddings, because it has influenced me in a variety of unexpected and good ways. Each wedding has their own uniqueness, personality, and beauty. My life experience in wedding, portrait, & event photography has been a very gratifying and fulfilling journey. I’ve been pro wedding photographer for over 15yrs, and I’m insured.

My husband and I were first introduced to Marc’s work when we toured Vine Hill House and looked through a book of one of his weddings there. We were instantly enthralled by his style and how beautifully he captured the scenery and emotions of the couple’s day. We ended up working with Marc for both our engagement shoot in May 2024 and our wedding this past May, and we could not have been happier with that decision. Marc was very flexible and easy to work with, let our personalities shine, and struck the perfect balance of directing us while also letting us be our authentic selves. His eye for incorporating the surroundings and everything else that goes into perfectly capturing the moment is truly incredible. Both of us hate being the center of attention or having our picture taken, yet he managed to get some unbelievable photos that reflected both our relationship and the magic of the day and scenery around us. It was also really important to us that our vendors be LGBTQ-friendly, especially our photographer who would be working with our wedding party, and all our party members really enjoyed working with him and appreciated his inclusivity. He set a beautiful tone/energy for our day with all our guests and left us with the most stunning photos to reflect back on. Our friends and family are blown away by the final results just as much as we are! For these reasons and many more, we could not be happier with the decision to work with Marc.

If you would have known me growing up, you would have been surprised if I didn’t become a photographer! I fell in love with photography after spending countless hours in the darkroom. Since 2008, I have been working professionally in the photography industry and have shot over 300 weddings and numerous other assignments in almost every genre of photography. Why Weddings? I love problem solving and puzzles, and I’m always up for a good challenge. For me, a wedding is a day full of all of the things that I love. Its basically a whole day of coming up with solutions to make the best photographs for my couples.

Lisa is absolutely amazing! She is extremely responsive, creative, reliable, and truly wonderful to work with. Lisa took the photos for our small backyard wedding and they turned out better than we could have ever imagined. The photos were a mix between artsy and regular portraits, which is exactly what we were looking for. Lisa communicated with us significantly beforehand and helped create a list of the different people we wanted photos with and any details we wanted included. She was great at making us feel comfortable and natural and helped guide us with posing. We are using Lisa for our other wedding event later in the year and we are so excited to be working with her again! We cannot recommend Lisa enough!

They recently offered photography + cinematography for a wedding we worked on together, and the results on both ends were absolutely SPECTACULAR.

Huge shoutout to Nate (Groovyhuman Studios) for shooting our wedding. Hiring him was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Even with planning our wedding in just 3.5 weeks, Nate’s professional, laid-back approach made a hectic timeline feel super easy. He was highly communicative and genuinely took all of our ideas and implemented them within his own style, which we love! Nate incorporated all of our input effortlessly and delivered a gallery of gorgeous photos. We especially loved how he captured so many candid moments; at times, we barely even noticed he was there. His eye for natural environments and flattering light is incredible. His use of natural elements and the gorgeous landscape really stand out in the photos, and we couldn’t be happier. One of our most fond memories is how awesome Nate was with all the kids at our wedding – he caught them in action and the character of each of them shines through in the photos on the dance floor, when they were sneaking away climbing trees or during our ceremony. We literally only have the best things to say about Nate and his shots! To our knowledge, he is newer to the Northern California area, so we encourage you to hit him up— we promise you won’t be disappointed! We were super comfortable with Nate and are still in touch when we are back in the area. We would hire him again in a heartbeat. If you’re in the area, we highly recommend his exceptional work, laid-back style, and use of natural landscapes to provide high-quality photos that last a lifetime! Thank you Nate for making our day even more unforgettable!!!!

Bustle & Twine was perfect for our magical, groovy 70s boho wedding. From the start, Lisa's warm, responsive, and compassionate communication style put us at ease. As a video producer, I have the highest standards, and Lisa exceeded my expectations with the quality of her work. She was so generous with her time and attention to detail. She captured first looks and wedding party pics beforehand and then true emotional "editorial" moments during the events- family members meeting for the first time, rifts being healed, and joy after loss. Lisa also helped co-create a seamless photo plan so each guest table could quickly get their pictures taken with us on their way to get their food. With our limited DIY budget, Lisa worked closely with us to make sure we got beautiful photos to remember our joyous day. Hiring Bustle & Twine was one of the best decisions we made - we now have incredible photos we get to enjoy for the rest of our lives. The wedding day goes by in a flash and now we can view the alternating photos as our TV's screensaver!

I am a Mother, Poet and never-ending dog trainer of my 3 spoiled fur babies. I grew up around photography, my grandfather was a photographer and this has always been something I loved to do. I love people and I have a ton of fun working at events. I am always excited to capture these moments for people and proud to share my results afterward. Photographing people and moments over the years is my true calling in life. Gives me great purpose and I really do enjoy it.

Have you ever met someone you just instantly clicked with? That was meeting Mrs. Opal Prince. From our very first conversation, Opal completely understood my vision--and more impressively, she worked with me through every indecisive moment and my very type B planning style. She never once made me feel underprepared or behind; instead, she offered thoughtful suggestions, filled in the blanks when I couldn't quite articulate something, and genuinely partnered with me every step of the way. We first worked with Opal for our engagement session, which I was admittedly nervous about--especially since my fiancé has a five-minute photo stamina at best. Not only did Opal make the experience comfortable and fun, but she even brought in her husband to help manage our wild dog so we could get a mix of shots with and without him. When I say our pup couldn't have been in better hands with someone we had just met-l mean it. The session was full of laughter, reassurance, and ease, even as our dog did his best to cause chaos. And the photos? They were turned around quickly and completely blew us away. I had several people text me photos of our Save the Dates, amazed by amazed by the stunning pictures Opal captured. Those engagement photos will be treasured for the rest of our lives--and then came the wedding... Opal and her partner, Wing, perfectly captured the energy of the day--Wing with my fiancé and his groomsmen, and Opal with me and my bridesmaids. You can truly feel the personality and emotion, which I fully attribute to the energy they bring. Their calming, friendly presence makes it feel like you're just hanging out with a friend--not posing for a camera. Our wedding day brought its fair share of last-minute weather pivots, and while Opal's role was officially a photographer, she effortlessly became so much more. I found myself turning to her again and again, and every time she was there--calmly helping, offering direction, keeping me on track. Though she was not our coordinator, she filled that role in such a natural way, and I am so grateful for her presence on that day. I can't imagine not having Opal or Wing with us for future milestones. They are the kind of photographers who make even the most camera-shy person feel confident and beautiful, offering clear guidance and capturing magic along the way Book Sweetbay Photography!!! You will NOT regret it!
