I received so many compliments on the music from my guests, and he kept them dancing for hours! But the one thing Ed did that I was most impressed with and touched by, was him picking the perfect next song when my husband was dancing with his daughter. Our photographer was able to get some beautiful photos of the moment, and we will be treasuring them for years. Without Ed's instincts and quick thinking, we wouldn't have those photos. Our first venue canceled on us 4 months from the wedding date, and they pivoted quickly and signed on for our new date and venue. They learned two new songs to play alongside two vocalist performances during our ceremony, and jammed out during cocktail hour before becoming our emcees and DJs for the reception. They even made it work when we had a last-minute rain plan go into action. My guests will not stop talking about how great the music was throughout the whole event. Tim and Anthony were nothing but a joy to work with. They are all good vibes and good music. I hope to make it to another of their gigs soon!!! Thank you so much!!!!!”

He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. We were also particularly thrilled with his execution of cocktail hour - we requested instrumental versions of modern/classic rock songs, and he found SO MANY great versions of so many great songs. When we talk to family and friends about our wedding, they without fail mention how much they loved the instrumental version of "Wake Me Up Inside" by Evanescence. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

The #1 thing we heard from everyone who attended our wedding was how incredible our DJ was. The whole booking process with Brian was very seamless - he was extremely responsive, and once you book he provides you with this awesome portal to easily put in all of your preferred music, timeline information, everything and connects to spotify or apple music for you to put in the actual song so there are no mistaking the versions. He even was very flexible in requests and purchased a special song that was not on streaming services for the mother-son dance and worked with my dad who wanted to keep the father-daughter dance a secret from the bride. Our dance floor was FULL for the entire 3 hours of dancing whether or not the bride or groom was on it. Having been to another wedding since, I can say 1,000% how much he contributed to making our wedding night the best celebration ever. It was hard to even leave the dance floor. Extremely experienced at reading a crowd and keeping the vibes up. BOOK IMMEDIATELY - you will not regret it.”
