“Choosing a wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you'll make during the planning process and I can confidently say, choosing Swan Lake Caterers was the best decision we made. I’m so excited to write this review so other couples can have a similarly incredible experience! I looked everywhere around the tri-state area from Jersey, to Connecticut, all the boroughs (including Staten Island!!) to all over Long Island. Swan Lake Caterers was actually the first venue I visited, and I fell in love instantly. But, like many brides, I was indecisive. I kept searching, trying to be sure… and after every other tour, I kept coming back to Swan Lake in my heart, I had a feeling it was the one! And it absolutely was. The entire day was seamless, magical, and full of joy. One of the most touching things someone said to me was from my sister. She told me, “So many brides can’t enjoy their wedding day because there’s so much going on but we could see in your face how carefree and happy you were. You were truly having fun” This was in large part due to Swan Lake Caterers allowing me to focus on my husband, family and friends. They gave us peace of mind, beautiful surroundings, and the freedom to be fully present in every moment. The food was out of this world, our guests are still talking about it! Sophia and Charlie really catered to what we wanted and to our guests’ dietary needs! Including three of our vegan family members. The venue itself was picture perfect. It was elegant, romantic, and timeless! One of my guests said it looked like it was out of a Disney movie. Elena, our maitre-d worked with me in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure the decor and vibe was everything we wanted. She knocked it out of the park! Even though it was a little chilly, and started to drizzle, Sophia was in contact with us in the week leading up to it, to make sure everyone was comfortable temperature wise. They were so unimaginably attentive to us! The day of, Elena made sure that even without a rehearsal everything went off without a hitch. Speaking of attentiveness, Jill, my bridal attendant, was simply amazing. She made sure we had drinks in our hand, food on our plates, helped me fix the train on my dress a million and one times. I’m pretty sure they helped one of my guests fix a ripped dress? Seriously. People said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! If you're thinking about getting married here, stop thinking and just say YES. I can’t express how incredibly grateful I am to Swan Lake Caterers and would love it for every other couple (and their guests) to have a similar experience!”

“If I could give Essex Club 100 stars, I would. The staff is top notch and will go above and beyond to make your day perfect. Jessica is the best person to be handling your wedding during the planning stage, she makes everything feel simple and stress-free. Rob, the maître d’, will keep everything moving seamlessly on the big day and Julissa, my bridal attendant, was always there when I needed her for anything, no matter how big or small. The food is amazing (shout out to the Asiago rice balls!!!), the grounds are beautiful, and the ballroom and cocktail hour space have a romantic and intimate feel. The price is incredibly reasonable if you do their complete wedding package. We chose to upgrade certain parts of the package but that’s totally up to each individual couple. I still feel like we got the best deal for our money. We got married on Saturday, April 18th. It was the most perfect day I could have asked for!! I feel like Essex Club is a hidden gem and I want to take out an ad in the paper for them because people have no idea what they are missing by not booking with them.”

“From the day we met Michael and the team, we knew we wanted to plan our wedding here at Bellport! There area so many things to highlight as Bellport really had everything we hoped for an more for our big day August 2025!!! The whole staff demonstrated a high level of communication during planning, and were extremely attentive to details from our wedding decor to being there for all of guests during our wedding reception. We loved the space, very large for inviting all of the guests we wanted-- we also loved the versatility of the large indoor space for dancing and dinner, the outdoor area overlooking the water, and the upstairs Irish coffee pub for an afterparty. The food at the wedding was magnificent. From the raw bar and many stations options during cocktail hour, to the lovely plated meal options during dinner (we especially loved the chateaubriand, duck, seafood, and eggplant options we were all able to offer). All meals were great quality and options for seconds, we and the guests loved the food! The bartenders were also fabulous and helped create our custom bride/groom drinks! Every aspect of the wedding came together far better than we could have dreamed, and Bellport went above and beyond in all areas. We would easily pick them again and again for our wedding vendor!”

“We got married at The Watermill on September 6th, and we honestly could not have been happier with our decision! Everything about our wedding day was incredible, from the beautiful venue and outdoor ceremony area to the amazing food and, most importantly, the staff who made sure everything ran seamlessly. The entire Watermill team was wonderful, from the woman at the front desk to Rob, Maria, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make our day so special. Our maître d’, Sean, was absolutely incredible! He was so funny, kind, and personable, and he kept everything running smoothly throughout the evening. Our bridal attendants, Olivia and Francesca, deserve a special shout-out because they went above and beyond for us. They were constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, including food and drinks, and they took such great care of our families, too. They made sure our parents were taken care of and had drinks throughout the evening. They brought a HUGE tray of cocktail-hour food right to our bridal suite so we could actually eat on our wedding day! It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we were so grateful for how attentive they were. And the FOOD! The cocktail hour was absolutely incredible, and our guests are still talking about it. The food and drinks were amazing, and people have repeatedly told us that ours was one of the best weddings they have ever attended. Everyone loved the room, the outdoor area, and the overall atmosphere. We have received so many compliments, and it makes us so happy knowing our guests had just as wonderful a time as we did. The venue itself is gorgeous, and the outdoor ceremony area was perfect. We were also so impressed by how The Watermill manages to host two weddings at once while making each couple feel like they are the only wedding happening that day. Most of our guests had absolutely no idea there was another wedding taking place until they were leaving! The best part of all was that we were able to truly enjoy our wedding without worrying about anything. I genuinely don’t think anything went wrong, but even if it did, we would never have known because the staff handled everything so seamlessly. They took care of every detail and allowed us to be present and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. We would choose The Watermill all over again in a heartbeat and recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a wedding venue.
