“Gemma, who owns Luv’d Up DJs, was our DJ for our thirty person wedding recently and is my new favorite person on the planet. She is so talented, and really knows exactly how to engage a dance floor or get everyone to pay attention to something important (LOL). She absolutely killed it on wedding day — every song was perfect, she was so adaptable, and so engaged in the day. We didn’t stress at all about music knowing she was there!! Our dance floor felt like a bigger wedding because she was locked in on keeping everyone dancing — I don’t have many pictures because everyone was busy dancing but they had our crowd of accountants MOVING. That’s no small feat!! It’s also important to note that she was just as awesome throughout the planning process! We are indecisive people who have attended very few weddings, and she helped us through every decision. I cannot say enough how much better she helped us feel!! We were on the fence about having a DJ for such a small wedding and she was perfect. She fit right in with our guests and curated the perfect vibe. All the sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (three separate locations!!) went so smoothly. I would make Gemma my emergency contact if I could. “Our original DJ had a family emergency and I reached out to Jeremy one week before our wedding. He was somehow available which was the greatest miracle of our wedding. We were so stressed and he immediately calmed us down and ended the call with "let's have a wedding!" Given the timing, we didn't have time for another call before the day. He had a comprehensive questionnaire that covered every situation we wanted a specific song for (including our cake cutting song) so another call was not needed and he did everything perfectly. He is extremely adaptable and stepped in so many times without needing to be asked (helping corral people for pictures). He followed every song we wanted (and didn't want), but also was able to nail the vibe when given vague directions (chill love songs during our cocktail hour). The best part was when we opened up the dance floor, my Fitbit logged me as doing "sport" for 2 hours straight at one point and I did over 10,000 steps just from dancing. He kept people dancing and people loved it, my wife and I both had multiple people tell us our wedding was the one of the best they had been to BECAUSE of the DJ. My favorite part was he genuinely loves what he does, you could see the joy on his face when he made a great transition between songs and that energy was infectious. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is extremely organized, professional, and fun. Jeremy, thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!”

“DJ Neal was an amazing choice for our recent wedding at the Rust Manor House in Leesburg, VA. From the beginning of the wedding process, DJ Neal was friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. He took into consideration some of our favorite artists and curated a wonderful playlist for our wedding day (i.e., ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). We had quite a unique request being “early 2000s nostalgia” for the reception and he delivered! During couples portraits before the ceremony, I remember telling people how much I enjoyed the music he was playing. Additionally, during our reception in the outdoor tent, everyone was out of their seat and on the dance floor. As someone who considers themselves a homebody, he really brought me and my (now) husband out of our shells and created such a fun energy. “Mark Maskell was absolutely incredible. Even though we had an all-inclusive venue, he was my one non-negotiable outside vendor from the very beginning. As someone who has been to a million weddings and genuinely loves music and going out, I hate cheesy wedding music and forced line dancing. Mark was the only DJ whose bio openly said that if you are looking for that vibe, he is not the DJ for you. That honesty alone sold me. From the start, Mark went far above and beyond what was included in our contract. He spent countless hours helping us curate our wedding timeline, reviewing my very Type A spreadsheets, and offering thoughtful guidance. He honestly felt more like a second wedding planner than just a DJ during the planning process. And the lights. The lighting setup and light show were unreal and completely elevated the entire experience. Mark truly curates the music and the atmosphere to you as a couple, not just a generic wedding crowd. On top of all that, he is just a genuinely wonderful human. Easy to connect with, great dark humor, ADHD energy that matched ours perfectly. He is someone I would happily hang out with on a random Tuesday. “Our experience with Jeff was excellent from start to finish, and we highly recommend him for any event. After contacting numerous DJs, we found that many were slow to respond, lacked transparent pricing, or spent more time trying to upsell us on extras we didn't want than learning about our vision. Jeff was exactly the opposite. Communication was prompt and effortless, his pricing was fair and transparent, and he offered everything we were looking for, including sound systems for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as attending our rehearsal to ensure the ceremony music went smoothly. The true measure of a great wedding vendor, though, is how they handle the unexpected. During our reception, a miscommunication left our wedding coordinator absent for much of the evening. “The energy, showmanship, hype, and FUN that 24K Event Band brought to our wedding reception was OUT OF THIS WORLD. “Jamie was one of our favorite vendors to work with! He was professional, kind, thoughtful, and never made me feel like my questions or requests were too much. We worked so well together, and I had so much fun collaborating with him on music decisions and making amazing playlists for every part of the wedding. Jordan was amazing during the entire planning process, he always replied in a timely manner and made every little request I had seem like no biggie and made it happen! “Kelton from Marquee Artists was amazing! He was a communicative and active participant in the planning of the music and the announcements at my wedding on March 9. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. Having him on our wedding team instilled so much confidence in me, my daughter and new son-in-law, who is an amateur DJ. They were so taken by Kelton that, if possible, they would like to attend future events at which Kelton is the DJ!! I HIGHLY recommend him.”
