“Where do we even start! From the very first email, Colin was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the whole wedding planning process. Anytime I had a question or worry (which I had a few), he was right there with reassurance and quick answers - even when I’d email him late at night, he somehow would respond within minutes! That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception. What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. Colin kept the energy flowing, a smooth timeline, and the dance floor full all night long. Looking back, we can’t imagine our day without Sound Love. Colin helped make everything easy, stress-free, and so much fun. We are endlessly grateful we chose him and will always recommended Sound Love to EVERY couple looking for a DJ who genuinely cares, listens, and delivers beyond expectations. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. He managed guest requests well (we didn't want everything to be played, and he did a fantastic job filtering through them so we only heard the music we actually liked). “Our wedding was unforgettable and exactly what we wanted and huge part of that is thanks to Joe. We wanted to throw a dance party for our wedding so we needed a DJ who could play the hits and keep people on the dance floor all night long. We also wanted to ensure that our musical tastes were reflected in the music selected. We wanted this gay wedding to have a gay dance party! That’s exactly what Joe did for us. During the planning process Joe was very hands on and collaborative. He helped us plan the evening and identify different moments we wanted to have. There were a few songs that we wanted to play and he ensured that he had them all for the night. He even made custom edits to a few songs for us like for our entrances or dances. The night of he was extremely attentive and got the party started immediately once the dance floor opened. People were dancing the whole night long. One moment that stood out was when he played a Portuguese song “Bate of Pé” which got everyone doing this Portuguese line dance. That was of course a requested song by us for the night, but then he transitioned out of it seamlessly into “Dança Kuduro” which was not a song we ever discussed but one I love to dance to that just worked perfectly right after. I was in shock at how perfect that was. Transitions were something we were really particular about and Joe nailed ALL OF THEM! His lighting also helped set the mood and vibe on the dance floor. It synced up perfectly to the music. During a really special moment of “Let It Go”, the lights were all set to blue which really elevated that whole song and experience. The videos we have with that blue lighting is truly magical. He recorded our ceremony and speeches so that we have clear audio of those special moments. These will be great keepsakes! Joe did an exceptional job, more than we could have ever asked for. He understood the assignment and delivered”

“Our wedding day experience would not have been the same without Derek! He went above and beyond in making our day special and tailored to us. We gave him songs for the ceremony and he made them his own and added his own flare making them unique for our day. He also played live for our cocktail hour where I received several compliments from our guests. Finally he was our dj for the reception helping to announce our wedding party with enthusiasm and kept our guests packed on the dance floor all night. I would recommend Derek 100 times over! He was so easy and smooth to work with and an absolute joy to have. He even worked with my wedding party to record a song they wrote to surprise us with. I’ve been at other weddings and events that he’s done and the energy and professionalism he brings is always top notch. Derek puts his heart and soul into all he does and he's one of a kind! Not just a DJ That sits in the corner playing a thrown together playlist on a single speaker and looks like part of the furniture. Im also a Commercial Voice actor, Announcer and MC. My big thing though is that i'm a father of 6 kids (5 Daughters yep I spoil the brides) so I treat every couple the way I would want some one to treat one of my kids for their wedding. I include a lot of the most popular item request as part of my normal offering with no upselling or "for an extra fee". I try to keep it simple sweet and most of all I try to take as much of the worry off your plate and put it on mine even for day of wedding task.

“As another vendor, I believe Dallas is clearly passionate about providing an excellent experience for his clients. He took the time to meet with me to walk through the venue prior to the wedding to make sure he was prepared. We had several phone conversations and it was clear he put a lot of thought and effort into the extra little details that could elevate the event for the Bride & Groom. Dallas can be talkative, but I think it's because he's so set on going above and beyond for his clients! During the wedding, he was professional and attentive. The couple wanted to go between dancing and karaoke during the reception and Dallas made it happen while taking requests from the guests. There was a slight issue with the microphone sound during the reception when he would announce certain things (line up for buffet, remember to sign the guest book, etc - this was NOT an issue during speeches), but I feel like it may have been the venue. Overall, I would recommend Raven Blu Entertainment for anyone looking for a DJ!”

Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”

“A DJ will make or break a party and Milwaukee Underground Productions MADE OUR PARTY! Prior to our wedding day, we were convinced our friends and families would be avoiding the dance floor, opting for card games or the bar but, to my utter shock, there wasn’t a single song we didn't have a group dancing the entire evening. Chris Troka listened to us, who we are as a couple, who our guests would be and absolutely nailed it. He played a wide variety of songs that had everyone from my younger brother to our grandparents entertained. I worked with us on the short timeline to make sure all our plans were airtight, took some even more last minute changes and made them reality without issue, and we were totally blown away by the level of professionalism, the size/quantity of his equipment, and the energy he provided all night! We worked with Oteiko for our wedding, and from the first phone call to the last dance of the night, we were impressed with his professionalism, responsiveness, and DJ skills. Yellowmoon Entertainment is reasonably priced especially for what is included. We had music and microphones for our ceremony, music during cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, and a super fun photo booth. The photo booth printed photos for our guests to take home (bonus wedding favor!) and to place in a photo album for my husband and me to keep. The music was great; Oteiko played our requested songs along with his songs to keep the dance floor packed all night long! We also appreciated his planning portal, which you can fill out ahead of time with your song choices. We would recommend Yellowmoon Entertainment for anyone's wedding!”
