“Where do we even start! From the very first email, Colin was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the whole wedding planning process. Anytime I had a question or worry (which I had a few), he was right there with reassurance and quick answers - even when I’d email him late at night, he somehow would respond within minutes! That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception. What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. Colin kept the energy flowing, a smooth timeline, and the dance floor full all night long. Looking back, we can’t imagine our day without Sound Love. Colin helped make everything easy, stress-free, and so much fun. “We cannot recommend Said highly enough! He is incredibly professional and responsive to all our questions. It was clear from the start that he knew exactly what he was doing. Said took the time to ask all the right questions to truly understand the specific vibe and music we wanted for our wedding. He managed guest requests well (we didn't want everything to be played, and he did a fantastic job filtering through them so we only heard the music we actually liked). On the day of, his setup was fast, the sound quality was excellent, and his lighting made the dance floor fun. Our biggest priority was keeping people on the dance floor, and Said delivered. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “If you're looking for a wedding DJ, I cannot recommend Fidel enough! From the very beginning, he was organized, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day exactly what we envisioned. Before the wedding, we had three video calls to go over every detail. He also created a shared Google Doc where we could easily organize everything he needed to know, from our ceremony processional songs, cocktail hour and dinner playlists, bridal party entrance songs, must-play songs, and even a list of songs we absolutely did not want played. The entire planning process was seamless and made us feel confident that every detail was covered. Fidel also provided all of the audio equipment for our outdoor ceremony, including speakers and microphones for our officiant and my cousin, who sang during the ceremony. One of the most thoughtful things he did was help with my processional song. I had chosen a song that didn't have an instrumental version anywhere. Instead of telling me it wasn't possible, he created a custom instrumental version so my cousin could practice singing with it before the wedding. That meant so much to me and is something I'll never forget. On the wedding day, Fidel absolutely delivered. He transitioned smoothly through every part of the day and kept the reception flowing effortlessly. He took song requests throughout the night while still staying true to the vibe we wanted, and I especially appreciated that he played clean versions of songs earlier in the reception since we had a lot of younger cousins celebrating with us. The dance floor stayed full, the energy never dropped, and everyone had an amazing time. In fact, the very next day, every person I asked about the wedding immediately commented on how great the music was. That says everything. You can truly tell that Fidel loves what he does, and it shows in every part of his work. He went above and beyond in ways we never expected, and because of him our ceremony and reception were absolutely perfect. If you're considering hiring him, don't hesitate, you won't regret it!”

“We were huge fans of Dueling Pianos as we had seen them several different places throughout the country. We just didn’t know how it would translate into wedding entertainment. From the first inquiry, Jason responded almost immediately and was very thorough and informative in his communication. We set up a phone call about a week later and we just knew it was going to be the right fit! The show was amazing and the entertainers really wowed the crowd. They were funny, personable and of course talented. We would highly recommend The Copper Piano to anyone considering live music!!”

“Our wedding day experience would not have been the same without Derek! He went above and beyond in making our day special and tailored to us. We gave him songs for the ceremony and he made them his own and added his own flare making them unique for our day. He also played live for our cocktail hour where I received several compliments from our guests. Finally he was our dj for the reception helping to announce our wedding party with enthusiasm and kept our guests packed on the dance floor all night. I would recommend Derek 100 times over! Jack Boatman is a Milwaukee native with an extensive background in music. He obtained a B.S. in Music Education from Case Western Reserve University in the spring of 2018. He prides himself on being an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, having played the violin for over 20 years and picked up several other instruments along the way, including guitar, drums, bass, and banjo. Jack has been DJing weddings and school dances since the spring of 2015. He is not only a skilled mixer and request manager, but an engaging MC who can lead any special dances or activities you have in mind.

“Bob was such an incredible DJ for our wedding! We purchased both the ceremony and reception package. Bob was very familiar with our wedding venue which helped us have a fantastic experience. Because of Bob, our ceremony went seamlessly. From the music, sound quality, transitions, and microphone set up Bob ensured a stress free experience. We got great feedback from our guests that they had no trouble hearing the officiant, reader, or bride and groom during vows. Overall, Bob was very accommodating and attentive to detail for all our needs and made sure to fully understand our unique preferences ahead of time. Bob did a great job introducing the wedding party, making sure to land everyone’s pronunciation as well! Bob also did a great job directing our guests throughout the night ensuring everything ran smoothly. His audio setup for our first dance on the outdoor terrace was incredible and truly created a magical experience. He was able to obtain our requested songs and made sure to prioritize our playlist during the dancing. Everyone had such a great time on the dance floor as we had a full dance floor from start to finish. He truly kept everyone dancing all night and was responsive to guests requests as well. They met with us before the wedding to go over all the details, which took so much stress out of planning. On the day of, they checked in with my husband and me before each special dance to make sure we were ready and on the same page. The energy on the dance floor was electric all night—they kept everyone engaged and having a blast. My favorite part was when they ended the night with our first dance song without us even having to ask. (Our first dance was prior to dinner.)
