I'm William, a dedicated and passionate photographer/videographer based in Washington, DC. My love of photography was born out of my love of travel. While exploring other countries and cultures, I was using my phone to document the people that I met and the places that I have been. This led me to buy my first professional-level camera; it has been with me ever since. I consider my photography style to be timeless. When I'm not behind the lens, you'll find me at my local movie theater or spending quality time with my family and friends.

When I was about 10 years old, my dad gave me a camera and I quickly became obsessed. My intrigue continued to grow over the years and I went on to earn my BA in Studio Art , Photography, from the University of Virginia. After graduating I worked as a portrait photographer and decided to pursue and earn my MFA in Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

I am a photographer working in the DMV area with 15 years of professional photography experience. I am a nerd of many passions, including but not limited to D&D, coffee, dogs, the outdoors, video games, and outer space! Before starting my own photography business I was an enlisted Marine Corps photographer, a NASA photographer, and a university photographer working with the deaf and hard of hearing. Each of these jobs truly shaped the style and quality of work I do!

I am a full time award winning professional photographer born and raised in the Annapolis area. I photograph just 30 weddings per year, and I have photographed over 300 weddings in my 11 year career as a wedding photographer. In 2003 I began my career in photography with the Maryland Film Office in Baltimore and photographed my first wedding in 2004 with my sister-in-law. I was in love! In 2007 I decided to go full time with wedding photography. I moved out west to apprentice with veteran wedding photographers in Las Vegas and Los Angeles to master studio lighting and posing techniques. I began working full time as a wedding photographer in Annapolis under my own company in 2009. Since then, I have met hundreds of amazing couples. Hi, I’m Yelitza (Je-lit-sa ... don't worry! I got you). I’m a photographer, wife, nurse, fur-mom of three, new avid hiker, and a pretty darn good baker; and I’m here (dramatic pause) to tell your story. I found photography my freshman year of high school (I needed some credits in a pinch and this was it), three days in class and I was in love. Fast forward a few year (hey! hey! not too many years... Technically my name is Alexandra, but my friends all call me Alex. I shot my first wedding in 2015- and immediately knew I had found my calling. From a young age, I've had a vivid imagination and a love for storytelling. I would capture everything I saw in my mind, using those images as the backdrop for my stories. This passion eventually led me to pursue a degree in Film and Photography. After graduating, I spent a few years as a volunteer missionary, traveling across the country. These travels allowed me to broaden my photography and filmmaking skills by experiencing and capturing diverse parts of the world. During this time, I also began photographing weddings and portraits, quickly falling in love with this aspect of my work and continuing to shoot ever since.
