We were assured that the music we wanted to play would be played, that they had sound/mics/audio/lights all under control, and that Gemma would dance the night away with us. We opted to do the uplighting package, and that was worth every penny too. The whole Luv'dup team was so communicative and professional throughout the entire planning process. We wanted a fun, upbeat feeling for cocktail hour and dinner, and a dance floor that was packed the whole night. Gemma absolutely delivered both, and she read the room SO perfectly to keep playing songs that the crowd would love dancing and singing to. I know I'm biased, but I truly don't think I have never seen a dance floor so crowded and happy at a wedding. We have Gemma and Luv'dup to thank for curating the perfect, joyful party. We could not recommend Luv'dup DJs and Gemma more...especially if you are getting married at Curtis Arboretum!”

That's when my DJ Mike SAVED the day along with my photographer and they basically took the coordination of placing the guests in and out of the appropriate rooms and they even helped me make a candle light outdoor ceremony look even better. Mike was exceptional, he confirmed that all the songs that were specifically requested for the ceremony and introductions were played and he went over them with me to make sure that he had them correct AND HE DID! “We booked John with Power Play Entertainment for our wedding and are extremely happy we did. We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. From the moment we talked to John on our initial call, we knew he was the right fit for us. Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. We had a few special requests from our processional song, to passing out glow sticks and other favors, to having a surprise musical guest for the father daughter dance and all were managed great by John. John brought along Guy as his assistant/our second DJ and he was amazing as well. Both were ready to make sure we had everything we needed for the entire day and were professional with how they handled everything. At the end of the day, John kept everything going smoothly from the ceremony to the reception, he was a great emcee, played everything we wanted to hear, and most importantly he kept everyone dancing all night long. John does everything he can to ensure he can serve you how you want on your special day. I would highly recommend John, Guy, and Power Play Entertainment as a whole.”

“Ryan went above and beyond as our DJ. He helped organize the craziness of dinner before killing it on the table. The majority of our guests (we had a lot) either didn’t leave the dance floor or kept coming back! As the bride I only left to cool off then right back out to the best dancing songs he was playing. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). All around an amazing job and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a fun DJ who isn’t afraid to lend a hand and help get the job done, even if it’s a bit out of his job description. Thank you!”

“The communication with Prime 1 Productions could have been better leading up to the wedding. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. The person I booked with was not the one who actually came to our wedding, which was a bit of a surprise. However, the DJ who did come was very nice and tried his best, even though he messed up the intro to our first dance a bit. Overall, Prime 1 Productions provided a serviceable performance, but I wish they had been a bit more in tune with the energy and preferences of our guests.”

She was also so kind in her emails, and we could tell how much she loves her job. A really sweet touch that I loved was that she came over to check on me and my husband during cocktail hour and dinner to make sure we were doing well and to see if we needed anything. She also fully understood the vibe we were going for based on our must play/do not play lists, and chose the perfect songs all night (even an unprompted "Season of Love" during dinner that had me and my friends out of our seats singing on the dance floor lol). She brought so much energy to the room, and was a perfect emcee- not too overbearing, but fun and lively all night long. We had such a blast, and we truly cannot recommend hiring Maggie enough. I started as a full-time nightclub DJ and after a decade transitioned to weddings. To date I've entertained 1000+ weddings to prepare for your celebration. Many of my past clients have described me as "the most un-wedding DJ, wedding DJ there is." I don’t conform to the typical stereotypes that may lurk in your nightmares after you attended bad weddings. This includes an exaggerated voice, a bunch of inflatable props, and I do not impose line dances and tacky clichés. I focus on ensuring that your plan for the day is solid and that you are confident I understand what is expected of me. I am your DJ, your MC, and your quality control planner.

“Where to start... Michael Kane was so much more than we expected, and we couldn't be happier. I was very picky about all of our vendors, and I'll admit I was nervous about our DJ as well. Would he understand our unique music taste? Would he make sure our guests could hear our vows during the ceremony? Would he be able to read the vibe of the room and maintain a good flow of music to keep all of our guests happy? Well, he went above and beyond in every respect. While my wife and I were nervous wrecks for the entire day, he was there as a kind and supporting presence to make sure we had nothing to worry about. Before the ceremony even started, he gave our rookie Officiant some sage advice that helped calm her nerves. For the ceremony he brought his own (personal) pro speaker system that made sure every guest could hear every word from our officiant and us. He understood our music taste so perfectly that I don't think my wife left the dance floor once. When we found out (mid-reception!) that we could play music beyond the original ending time, he worked with us to extend his schedule to give us the perfect ending to the night. He did ALL THAT while still finding time to take some awesome candid shots of us (that's me, clearly enjoying the song, in the attached picture). Ultimately, DJ Michael Kane handled his job perfectly with professionalism, charisma, kindness, and swagger. I've honestly never been happier to write a review.”

“Bill Scheivert is a great DJ for any event in Delco. He was so quick to respond to any questions we had, and his website is fantastic, super organized and there are so many songs to choose from - I even like that we could pick music from each decade! There’s also an option for guests to request music. The forms for the ceremony and reception were super easy to fill out and it was such a stress free planning process. Bill also has awesome upgrades to include a Photo Booth at the wedding! Bill is also great at reading crowds - he was able to keep people on the dance floor all night long! We had so many compliments on the music - thank you Bill for making our wedding day so special!”
